As Axel was walking toward Sophie, he couldn't help but be nervous, and Sophie knew it wasn't because of the coffee she had drunk this morning.
Axel looked at Sophie as he took another step forward.
"I didn't know that an Omega could be this beautiful."
"Without that dirt that made her feel protected, she almost looked like a Luna."
Axel thought when he first saw her that it was kind of cruel, especially since she's a woman, but she can't blame her, especially since she's trying to survive. Being an Omega was kind of hard.
Axel shook his head and said to himself, "I can't possibly be amazed by her."
"Remember, you'll just use her to use her."
"For Rebecca to come back to you."
Axel held Sophie's hand, and she felt it cold.
"Wow, even a huge figure like him can be scared sometimes." Sophie thought and held Axel's hand tight, making the man look at her.
Sophie reached for his ear and made a big gasp in the crowd.
Rebecca held her scarf that she was holding and Edward was looking at her.
Axel and Sophie made a big circle around them.
"It's alright, smile a little bit," Sophie said
And Axel was moved. He didn't know she could be this observer.
As their faces parted, Axel's face was red.
That caught Sophie off guard and she laughed, "That's it."
As they continued to walk towards the crowd, there were murmurs that Axel could hear.
"Wow, I've never seen her before!"
"Is she from the other tribe?"
"Isn't that treason? Marrying someone from another tribe? "
"But if she's not, I think there was someone who could be more beautiful than Rebecca."
Sophie couldn't seem to concentrate as her vision started to blur and she couldn't hear anything and just spaced out.
"Are you okay, Sophie?"
Sophie wanted to be scared, but she just smiled and they stood on what seemed to be a small stage in front of where the Elders were, and on the side were Rebecca and Edward.
The crowd was looking at them and the elders weren't sure, especially since they had to inspect everything as they did with Rebecca.
"Are you certain, Axel Hugh Valicx?" A question from the Elder
"Yes, I'm certain," Axel said sparingly.
Axel looked at the maiden beside him and felt sorry for doing this, but what could he do?
All he can do is be selfish to be with Rebecca again.
I felt sorry for everything and the thought that she didn't know what was written on the contract was flawed and was different from what we were talking about.
Unknowingly, she held onto me as soon as I placed my hand in my direction.
Axel took a deep breath and looked at Sophie.
"She's even smiling, not knowing what I did to bestow faith upon her. I hope she can forgive me. "
"Axel Hugh Valicx and this unknown Luna of yours," the Elder said, clearing his throat.
"Sophia Drie, my Lord," she said.
And Ernesto was astounded by someone like Luna because this woman addressed him as Lord, which moved him.
The Elder gestured, using his hand to take a bow, and without breaking their hands, Axel and Sophie bowed.
They stayed bowed as Axel looked at her. She shut her eyes, and he did the same.
She has a beautiful name, but he just fulfilled his dirty business and again felt sorry for her.
Everyone was quiet and the attention was on those who bowed.
Rebecca's hand trembled and her face turned ugly, and Edward took notice of it.
"Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay to you? He hasn't even spent a month and ended up replacing me with this unknown girl. "
Edward was so confused and just stared at what was happening, "Isn't this what she wanted? Why is she acting like that? "
"Sophia Drie, may your journey together bear a happy memory. Through this tribe, we welcomed you, Sophie Drie, as the new Luna of Western Border. May your duties to your people be pure." The Elder said
They were both unknowingly smiling as they opened their eyes.
"Stop!"
Rebecca shouted, making me look at her, and as soon as Axel looked at her, Sophie just shut her eyes.
"What's her problem?" Axel thought and was irritated.
Rebecca felt as if she were being tortured.
"You're not like this, Axel!" Rebecca said
Axel was just looking at her, confused.
Sophie opened her eyes and stood still, and Axel put Sophie behind him for further protection.
"I order you to transform..." Rebecca said that made everyone shocked.
The Elder also discussed this and was looking back and fortified.
As Axel made it to the center stage, everyone was quiet, and Sophie was shocked as they all had respect for the man in front of her.
"Why does she need to take orders from you?"
"You're not even my mate?" Axel said, with a cold expression.
Rebecca was dumbfounded as her hands began to tremble.
"What the hell are you saying, Axel?"
"The tie wasn't legitimate yet."
"But the untying was," Sophie said, and everyone was shocked.
Axel's expression was the same.
That made him furious because it was not in their contract for her to speak like that.
"Everyone who dares to question and everyone that doesn't believe him will be dragged into the dungeon!"
Rebecca frowned, "Please... This is not what I want to happen."
"Axel.. p-please, it's not like that."
Axel just turned a blind eye and an ear that couldn't hear her and held Sophie's shoulder tight.
Sophie felt her body trembling, but she said nothing and looked in the direction he was looking.
Everyone murmured, but Axel ignored it and looked at the Elders who had some kind of conversation.
"SILENCE!"
Rebecca's knees became weak and she held onto Edward's arms.
She was taken aback because Axel had never been like that to her, and she had not expected the new Luna to be feisty.
The ceremony continued, and Rebecca didn't take it and exited the stage.
Axel's face followed Rebecca, but Sophie made him stop.
"If you are conducting an act, please do it properly!"
Sophie's face was full of gloom, and Axel was confused.
"Where did the little rabbit go?" Axel gulped.
"Did I let myself out of a trap?" Axel added
As the ties were being made, someone in the audience couldn't take it because their hands were clenched.
"Tsk!"
