Bound By Agreement: The Alpha's Contract Wife And Twins Chapter 38

CHAPTER 39

ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV

The Morning came fast, and I was awake very early as there were much to do. I called Sean and asked him to meet me in the house.

I skipped breakfast. Davina was here on time too. I had informed my family about the whole process.

“Montana follow us," I told her, since she wanted to be useful, maybe there is a way for her to be useful.

She followed us as we headed to the chamber in my home.

“This is it…will this be enough for everything we discussed?” I asked Davina, while she inspected the place.

“Of course, it would be enough, more than enough even. It's just a portal, we will make it work”, She responded.

“Montana, you will shut that door and when we leave into the portal, you will stay here and watch it. Can you do that?” I explained to Montana and asked her for confirmation, cause if she can't do that, then she can just leave and another alternative will come.

“Of course, I can," she said with a serious face and nodded.

“Good and also”, I raised my finger, “Never would you follow us through that portal, stay out here, whatever curiosity, keep it in and stay out here to watch us, wait for our return.”

She nodded, “Yes, Alpha Lincoln.”

“Don't mess this up,” I said to her and turned to Davina.

“Are you ready, Alpha?” Davina asked me.

“Yes, totally ready. Sean!” I said as we all stood together. While Montana backed away.

“Your hand please,” Davina said to me, with her hands opened and outstretched.

I gave her my hands, and we held on to each other's hand, “Whatever I say, I want you to repeat after me, Alpha.”

She informed me and I nodded.

Davina closed her eyes and recited, “Phesmatos Ex Nominum.”

I repeated after her, “Phesmatos Ex Nominum.”

“revelare portam inter mundos", she continued.

I repeated after her, closing my eyes just as she was doing, “revelare portam inter mundos.”

The atmosphere in the room was already changing and I could feel it. Although Davina's voice was still calm but strong, “Aeternum vinculum.”

I could feel her hands on mine, doing a little finger turn on my palm as I repeated after her, “Aeternum vinculum.”

My eyes had opened as the room started becoming brightened and when I opened my eyes, I could see a portal making its way out wider.

“aditum praesta ad umbras,” Davina said a bit louder, and as I repeated after her, “aditum praesta ad umbras”, The portal came to life fully, suitable for us to pass through.

The portal itself looked so magical, and we could not see inside of it. I wondered what the Eclipse sanctuary would look like, hopefully wherever we land will be a safe spot.

I gave Montana a look and she nodded. Good thing she understood what I meant.

“Alpha you will go in first, and we will follow you”, Davina instructed and I stepped forward.

“Alright”, I stepped in, luckily enough it was like we were on the other side of the room, standing.

Soon after, Sean walked in and walled out, meeting me and so the Davina.

The portal itself pulsed with a lot of energy, “Don't worry it will hold, so let's be fast and get what we want and save Victoria,” Davina said.

MONTANA'S POV

I am actually so happy that I could do something to help. Plus Alpha Lincoln did not look too upset today but when he said something about curiosity I knew that he still remembered it clearly but for now, saving Victoria was much more important.

As soon as they crossed the portal, I shut the door of the chambers, made myself comfortable with a chair, and sat in front of the portal, just as I was asked to do.

ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV

This place was out of the world, there were also mirrors where I could see my reflection. The ambient lighting blends with hues of blues and purples, creating a different and nice place. Different patterns on the walls of this Sanctuary.

There was a bridge which we saw and took, it was the only way that was available. I went first, making sure it was safe, before the rest followed behind. I could feel the power of this place, even from my feet as it touched the ground of this place.

Trees and little water, running. The air in this place seemed to be alive. No surprise, though, everything here would probably not make much sense and still make a lot of sense at the same time.

Finally, following the pattern, Sean was first to uncover a box adorned with ancient symbols and showed it to Davina and me.

“The box seems to resonate with some kind of pulsating energy,” Davina said while staring at the box intensely.

“Do you think half of the Locket is in there?” I asked.

“Well, we will have to find out then," Sean said.

“Alpha Lincoln, through what you have explained to me, I think you are the only one who would be able to touch that box. So Beta, kindly don't”, Sean and I nodded in understanding.

The three of us walked towards the box and finally, we were standing right in front of it.

Davina observed the box closely and noticed that there was a sigil engraved on its surface. And I saw it too and confirmed it was an emblem that represented the bond of my family.

Davina hummed, it seemed like she recognized the significance of that sigil and emblem, “Your blood, Alpha, that is what will unlock this box. It is your blood that can unlock the ancient mechanism that's guarding the locket. I am certain that the locket is in here.”

“Is there something sharp here?” I asked, looking around.

“Oh well”, I let out my claws and sliced my palm, making a small cut. My blood which carried the blood, heir, rightful Alpha of the Vincintore family was the key to unlocking this box and revealing the hidden half of the Soul bound Locket.

I went closer to the blood and connected my hand where I was bleeding to the Sigil.

The next thing that happened… Wow!
