She plastered a smile when Veron widened his eyes in surprise. She even made sure that her clothes would be enough to torture him. She might be a woman, but it doesn't mean she is weak. She used her two years to train herself to be one of the best Alpha, and James did everything to ensure she would learn everything.
Veron cleared his throat even more. His pale cheeks blushed when Veronica hugged him.
He was about to train when Veronica came in his pack. He thought that Veronica might be in the pack hospital because of the potion that he had given to her.
"I don't even know that you want to date me. Did you even ask my Beta about my schedule?" He asked jokingly. He licked his lips when Veronica's lips parted and pouted at him. He swallowed when he felt that something inside of him woke up.
"Fine, I didn't ask your Beta about your schedule because he only let me go inside her. It seems he knows me, or he's too stunned that I'm beautiful because of my outfits." Veronica smirked and turned around to make Veron see how she prepared for him.
Veron looked away. He couldn't believe that he was shy. He kept muttering profanities when his wolf howled because of the woman in front of them.
What made him confused was his wolf, like Veronica. His wolf didn't like to be with other women and was aloof when someone tried to flirt with them. However, when it came to Veronica, he seemed different. His wolf kept encouraging him to be with Veronica.
"You don't need to wear something like this because of me. I don't want them to look at your body." He finally dared to speak after Veronica proudly made him see how bouncy her butts.
He hardly sighed and pulled Veronica into his pack house, especially when he saw that his pack members and guards were drooling at her. He dragged her into his room and took a loose shirt and pants.
"Wear this for me if you want to go with me." He ordered. He couldn't understand himself anymore. Helene had already warned him that he might regret that he had helped Veronica, but he didn't even mind.
He thought he enjoyed being with Veronica, even for a shorter time. Veronica's face turned sour, and she glared at him.
"I can't believe that you didn't even appreciate what I did for you. I make sure that I'm presentable for you! Did you even know that you are the one who would be my first date?" Veronica exclaimed in anger, which made Veron stunned for a moment.
He didn't know what he would say because he didn't want to admit that he was madly jealous that someone had been luring Veronica.
He licked his lips when he noticed how Veronica's mood changed all of a sudden. He didn't want her to get mad at him, especially since she had an excellent use for his plan.
"Okay, you don't need to---"
He couldn't finish his words when Veronica grabbed his clothes and rushed to his bathroom. He heard how Veronica slammed the door as long as she could. She was mad. She was sure of it.
Veronica smirked when she slowly wore Veron's clothes. She didn't know that Veron was too traditional, but it was Ava who suggested she wear those clothes even though she didn't like them.
She pursed her lips when she saw her reflection in the mirror. She stayed for several minutes until she finally dared to come out.
"It looks great on you. It's better if you wear these clothes, and you can move as long as possible." Veron commented and flashed an evil grin on his lips. Veronica rolled her eyes and acted like she was agitated by it.
"I don't even know that you are too traditional, Alpha Veron." She commented, and she made sure that her tone was off. She walked passed by him, which made Veron speechless. "Did you even know how excited I was when wearing those clothes? You ruined it."
"I'm only thinking about you. Well, I made you change your clothes because I'm planning to have training with my warriors." Veron uttered that made her pause. She smirked, but she tried that she wasn't pleased at all. She turned around and didn't say anything afterward.
Veron followed her and acted like he wasn't affected, but he couldn't understand why he felt terrible for making Veronica feel that way.
"She's Alpha Veronica." He introduced Veronica to his pack, and when she witnessed how Veronica smiled, he was pissed. He didn't like it.
"Let's do some training. You all need to have a pair to make sure that we will all learn everything that we need to learn." He announced.

"Alpha, she's with Alpha Veron," Uriel reported, which made him angry. He clenched his hands and forced himself not to make his emotion obvious.
"Do everything to make sure that she's safe. What happened with Helene? Someone told me that she's been hanging out with you for a couple of days." He asked, which made Uriel step back. He didn't want to know about it, and he was only changing the topic so Uriel wouldn't see that he was still affected when it came to Veronica.
"Yes, Alpha. She's always disturbing you here. That's why I was the one who always with her like what you ordered to me." Uriel maintained his casualness even though he was anxious that Jaxon might be investigating him.
"You are such a great help for me, Uriel. It's not too easy for me to remove Helene from my life. She's like a sponge. I hope she will meet someone who will be her husband, not a fuck buddy."
Uriel scowled. He tried to hide that he knew that Helene had a man who would always pleasure her in her bed. He was the one who was always with her in her bed.
"I don't even know that she had another man, Alpha. She's always mentioning you." He uttered, which made Jaxon shake his head with disappointment. Uriel hardly breathes when Jaxon laughs at him.
"I'm planning to sleep early. It's fine with me if you decide to stop working today. You still need to have some rest." Jaxon muttered and didn't even look in his direction.
Uriel nodded and reported everything that he needed to register before he left Jaxon's office. He didn't even see how Jaxon flashed an evil grin while he was looking at him.
Jaxon tapped his table. He disliked to be with a traitor. He trusted Uriel so much, even though Veronica's pack decided to kick Uriel and his family out in their pack. They were known as traitors, and he couldn't believe he was too stupid to trust them.
He thought that Veronica's family might be too cruel when it comes to Uriel. However, they were right all along. He was dissatisfied with himself that he let a traitor in his pack.
He still remembered the first time he had slept with Veronica. He was in heat then, which was too questionable for him. It was Uriel who brought the wine that he had drunk that time, which led him to sleep with Veronica.
That time, Veronica got his attention so badly that even though Helene did everything to talk with him, he didn't give her permission.
When he woke up, he was alone, and he couldn't remember who was the woman that he had sex with. He tasted a lot of liquor, but Uriel's wine made him more horny.
It seemed Uriel didn't plan that Veronica would sleep with him. He still recalled how Uriel acted when he found out that Veronica got him pregnant.
He sighed and tried to calm his nerves. He didn't want to do something reckless while Morgan was still missing. He needed to find him so fast that Veronica would see he wasn't a cheater.
He might be known as the powerful, ruthless Alpha, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have a weakness. He might be vital in everybody's eyes, but Veronica was his living weakness.
"Alpha Jaxon, I heard that you want to talk with me. What's the matter? I don't even know that we are close." Ava uttered when she finally came where Jaxon planned their meet up.
Jaxon was panting. He growled but tried his best to stop from choking Ava, especially since she was the sister of his mate.
"I learned that Veronica is in his pack. Didn't I tell you that you need to prevent her from going there?" He was outraged and thought that Veronica couldn't live when she wasn't with Veron, which made him madder.
"I did my best to stop her, but she's the Alpha of this pack. I don't have the power to stop her or disobey her." Ava lied, making Jaxon howl in anger.
"Are you telling me my mate is falling with that bastard?"
"Maybe. I don't know. I don't want her to get upset with me. Veronica isn't a child. We need to trust her guts."
"No! She needs to be taken away from that bastard! She's my mate! She's my future Luna. How dare she was flirting with that lower man while I was trying my best to search for Morgan!" He roared as his eyes were red. He clenched his hands and growled in madness.
