Veronica was speechless, even though Veron left the dungeon. She didn't know what to do next because she was thinking about Morgan. Before Veron left her, he ensured that she could eat. Veronica didn't think twice before she accepted it because she was hungry.
Veronica knew she needed the food that Veron had given her for strength. Veronica slowly opened her eyes when she heard that her cell was unlocked. Veronica glimpsed Jaxon, who was giving her a death glare. Jaxon looked mad, as if he were ready to hurt her.
When the cell was successfully opened, Jaxon pulled Veronica out of the cell. Veronica winced when she felt how Jaxon gripped her hand; it was too painful for her.
"How dare you meet your other man in my pack? Veronica, I can't believe that you are so cheap. Did he fuck you inside the dungeon? Did he cumulate inside you? Tell me.." Jaxon clenched his teeth and gave Veronica an angry sneer.
Veronica was dumbfounded because she couldn't understand what Jaxon had been telling her. How could she sleep with another man inside the dungeon? Does Jaxon think that she had the courage to do those things?
"You are crazy! I don't understand what you are talking about! Alpha Jaxon, I was sleeping in the dungeon when you came, and you will accuse me of something that I didn't even do?" Veronica almost spit out those words. She tried to remove her hands from Jaxon's, but Jaxon still would not let her.
Jaxon scoffed. He thought that Veronica would change her mind, but he was wrong because there was gossip inside his pack that there was a man who visited Veronica in the middle of the night. They even said that it must be Veronica's hidden man, and maybe Veronica was planning to escape from him.
At first, Jaxon didn't want to believe it. He only confirmed it to the man who was protecting Veronica from the people who were going to kill her.
"Huh? Tell me: Did you meet your man? Who is that asshole, and I'm going to kill him?" Jaxon dragged Veronica inside his room when they both reached the pack house. Jaxon pushed Veronica into his bed, which made Veronica shriek in horror.
"Remove your clothes. I want to check your bladder to see if it's full of his semen. How dare you sleep with another man, Veronica?" Jaxon yelled that the veins in his neck almost popped out. Jaxon's eyes glowed before he went closer to Veronica. "I want to check it for myself. Veronica, I'm going to kill you if you sleep with another man!"
"Argh! Don't touch me. You freak! Did you lose your mind? Jaxon, you slept with Helene, and now you are freaking out that I might do what you have done to me?" Veronica shouted and started throwing punches at Jaxon's body, but Jaxon held Veronica's hands. He pinned her hands to the top of her head.
Veronica widened her eyes. She didn't know what she would do, especially when Jaxon held her face and slowly kissed her lips. What Veronica noticed was her relationship with Jaxon. It's a love-hate relationship that she didn't want to enter.
Veronica was done hearing someone tell her everything she needed to do. She was abused by someone who was always trying to manipulate or control her. That was what Alpha Jaxon had been doing to her.
"Who is your other man, Veronica? Do you want me to throw Morgan out of this pack? It's fine with me, especially that you are acting like a disobedient woman." Jaxon whispered, which made Veronica swallow because Jaxon was trying to blackmail her. Veronica couldn't believe that she was hearing those words from Jaxon.
"I'm not kidding. Do you want me to throw him out of this pack? I will make sure that you will witness how Morgan will run for his life against those rogues." Jaxon added, which made Veronica close her eyes. Veronica didn't know why Jaxon had been treating her differently.
"He is your child. How dare you use him to blackmail me?" Veronica clenched her teeth, but her tone was slowly getting weak because of her worry for Morgan.
"He's my child. I didn't even tell you that he's not Since his mother keeps doing something bad behind my back, what will I need to do with him? I think it's fine.
"Shut up! I can't believe that you are such a heartless man. I hope that I stopped myself from fucking with you. I wish I fucked someone who isn't like you." Veronica made sure that Jaxon heard those words. Jaxon held her hands tightly, which made Veronica try to struggle.
"I didn't regret fucking you that time, Veronica. You are acting like you didn't like what I was doing, but I still wanted to do it because I have you and Morgan." Jaxon whispered before he claimed Veronica's lips. Veronica tried to push Jaxon away from her. Veronica couldn't understand how she was affected by what Jaxon had been doing to her.
Jaxon kissed Veronica's lips. They both felt the heat slowly getting inside their bodies. Veronica moaned when the electricity came inside her, which made her almost stumble.
"Ahhh!" Veronica yelled in pleasure when Jaxon slowly sucked her neck, which made her slowly open her legs. Jaxon licked Veronica's skin, and looking at her skin, he wanted to mark her all of a sudden.
Jaxon's canines were showing. He licked the neck again, which made Veronica close her eyes in pleasure. Veronica was groaning when she felt those sharp teeth touching her skin.
"What are you doing? Stop." Veronica panicked when she saw how long Jaxon's canines were. She didn't like to have a mark.
"No! I don't want to have your mark!"
"Veronica! You will accept my mark whether you like it or not." Jaxon declared and tried to make Veronica almost punch Jaxon in the back.
“Jaxon, no! Please, I don't want it.” Veronica cried.
