The Alpha King gave Helene a deadly glare. He didn’t like what he was seeing. He knew that Jaxon didn’t do anything to win his guests' trust, but it was very alarming for him. He was the Alpha King, but they were acting strangely as if he wasn’t the King that they respected.
Seeing how Jaxon interacted with other Alphas made his blood boil in anger. He gritted his teeth when he walked in Helene's direction. He had a cold, intimidating aura, while Helene was only watching him. He was frustrated; he couldn’t understand why those Alphas that he had invited made him slap the truth that they didn’t need him.
As the Alpha King, it was a disrespectful action, and he wanted to punish every Alpha who always offended him. However, he was sure that those Alphas might team up against him. If he wanted to teach them a lesson, he could start with Jaxon, who was listening to another Alpha who tried to talk to him.
"What are you doing? Why aren’t you even spreading your freaking legs on him again? He’s so obsessed with you that he even chooses you over his foolish parents. I won't let you come back to him to act like a maiden woman!“ He exclaimed, but he made sure that only his daughter would hear those words. He was acting respectably when he was with other Alphas. He doesn’t like to ruin the image that he has created for so long.
"Alpha, I always go in his pack like you said to me. He’s trying to avoid me, and I didn’t have the chance to be with him. Perhaps he’s too busy trying to find his mate." Helene tried harder to hide her fear, especially when her father snarled at her as if she were only a servant in his eyes.
She bit her lips. She didn't like to be treated like that. She didn’t have a choice, especially when the Alpha King had something that he could use against her. The Alpha King still believed that she had the power to control Jaxon. He believed she still enticed him like before.
"You’re not doing everything; I'm sure of it. The man is madly in love with you. I think that he’s acting like he doesn't like you because he’s mad that his parents died and you left him to be with us!"
"It's not like that, Alpha. He changed a lot. I can’t find something that I can use against him. He was too secretive that even his Beta didn’t know what he might be thinking." She whispered and hoped that her father wouldn’t notice that there was something off with her, especially when she mentioned Uriel.
For two years, Uriel was the one who was always with her, and she enjoyed having him around, especially in bed. She turned out to be secretive with her father, especially when it was about Uriel. She was afraid that he might use him against her.
"His Beta is clever too. He will be a great help to you if you have control over him. He is only a Beta, a lower one. I want you to be with Alpha Jaxon, like what I’m ordering you! Do something like what you always put in his drink. You successfully removed that bitch Veronica from his life!"
"The servant who’s always helping me was removed from the pack. Jaxon changed all of the servants in his pack. I don’t know what he might be thinking."
"If you didn’t know what he was thinking, then use your freaking pussy to know it. Are you stupid like your brother? I can’t believe that I have been surrounded by idiots! I didn’t have a daughter to be useless like you! You are bound to serve what I want!" The Alpha King gnashed his teeth and held Helene’s arms tightly. It seemed he didn't like that Helene always had a lot of reasons whenever he was suggesting something to her.
Helene blinked her eyes. She couldn’t believe that she had heard those words from her father. At first, she thought that being the daughter of the Alpha King was such a great blessing in her life, but she was wrong, especially when her father commanded her to do some things that she didn’t like to do.
She was used for his glory, and he didn't mind that his children were the ones who suffered as long as his name was clear and respectable.
