The werewolves set out leaving a few to take care of the base. Annie went to attend Cane, she planned to make him part of her lineage.
She explained everything about werewolves to him and he agreed instantly, he argued his excitement was because he might be able to save his sister with that strength.
However Annie could see he was just excited about having superpowers but it was also true that he wanted to save Eve, so did she.
Time passed with no news of the Bloody Mary, a full moon went by and Cane became a werewolf.
Annie directlysde him a Gemma skipping the Omega rank, this made the older Omega envious.
But they knew there was a personal relationship between the two so they didn’t dare complain.
There months went by, Annie and all the other Delta werewolves finally reached level 5.
There were many others who reached that level, especially the older werewolves, in those three months.
The pack gained over 300 level 5 werewolves, s substantial increase in strength.
Adrian noticed that most of them had the martial type domain, only those from the lineage of Annie, Suzie and Louis had the other type of domain.
While Louis wasn’t a long ranged fighter, she was a mid range due to her daggers that she can control with her mind.
So her domain spread out but no more than 40 metres away from her, within that 40 metres radius though.
She could control over a hundred daggers with blinding speed and her control over them was much better than before.
This increased both her offensive and defence power to a whole knew level, to the point even her mate Charlie now struggled to take her down in a spar.
Adrian had watched them sparring with each other and their power made him nod with satisfaction.
Charlie’s spear had the power to bend in strange ways like a serpent, it could also replicate itself somehow.
While he struggled to take her down sustaining more wounds than her, he won at the end using that trick.
Adrian saw him thrust forward, his domain wrapped tightly around the spear suddenly explained.
A wave of esper spread out in a blinding silver light then he thrust, the dispersed esper turned into spearheads exactly like his attacking from all directions.
This move suprised even Adrian, caught off guard he doubted he would’ve been able to avoid it either.
Still, Louis didn’t even have a scratch because Charlie couldn’t bring himself to make his beloved wife bleed.
According to him, he still sees her as the delicate fragile woman she once was and Louis truly was petite and delicate.
While not as pretty, she looked even more feminine than Annie who looked very delicate herself without any signs of bulging muscles.
Both of them were the opposite of Melissa who looked like a professional bodybuilder with a unique feminine charm.
Most of the werewolves didn’t return even when they reached level 5, they had all left with enchanted silver chains.
They even brought silver spikes to stab himself in other parts of their bodies to weaken themselves even more.
Adrian also realised his method of gaining control over esper was really impossible for most races.
Even the werewolves who were present were bedridden for nearly three days, healing a wound to the heart and esper veins was not easy, even for them.
Adrian received a flood of cusses from Sam through pack call, he claimed it would take him five years to heal.
Adrian knew that lazy bastard was just slacking off, Annie threatened to have him handle the entire job by himself if he dared.
While Sam didn’t fear or worship Adrian like the others, he was definitely terrified of Annie.
Unlike Adrian, she didn’t play around and would occasionally beat the living hell out of him.
The werewolves adjusted to their strength and he knew more level 5 werewolves would show up soon.
He very much welcomed that, then one day on the fourth month he received a pack call from two omega werewolves.
Both were from Athi’s lineage, one was an older werewolf having been with the pack for six years and at level 4.
The one was merely a year old and at level 2, as the pack grew, the hearts demand also grew.
Now most werewolves had to hunt for their own hearts, unfortunately Gadra hearts were not as effective as Fayera hearts.
However hunting down Fayera would lead to even more trouble, they can only get their hearts from criminals hunted down by the guild.
That meant the speed of growth amongst werewolves slowed down, especially the higher their level.
Most omega were still at either level 1 or 2, still to them was a power beyond the imagination of their former selves so they were grateful.
Yet now, he heard fear through the voice of his pack members. Adrian listened to them attentively.
Then the pack call cut off, Annie looked at him with worry, " You’re okay, what’s happening?" She asked.
" Two of ours came across the Bloody Mary, more accurately, they saw where she had passed, let’s go check it out."
He grabbed her and teleported, unlike Meggie, his teleportation has limits. Besides the breathing issue.
It also had a limit on his body or soul he wasn’t sure but he was limited on how long he could spend on thst dimension.
They teleported nearly a thousand kilometres away but they were still far from their destination.
Both immediately took their true werewolves forms, unlike others, it didn’t drain any esper since it was their other form as much as the human form was.
Their speed increased significantly, they ran on all fours like real wolves and this made them even faster.
In just an hour they had covered thousands of kilometres, they left a trail of destruction due to sonic booms behind them.
Yet, even moving at speeds reaching Mach 10, it still took them nearly an entire day to reach the two Omega werewolves.
They found them in the what appeared to be a city but the city was silent. Adrian could smell human and Fayera scents all around.
" What happened here?" Annie asked but realised it herself before anybody could tell her.
" She killed everybody?" She asked with a shaking voice.
The older Omega shook her head, " No my lady, some lived."
