Fond of Erato Chapter 27

With all that formal attire, well polished black oxford shoes. Without even seeing his face because of that big helmet in his head, I already knew it was him.

With the minimal tats in his knuckles, my heart beat went wild. I got too excited that I don't even know how to react. And the most awaited and drama like scene was him, taking off his helmet.

I really did felt like my whole world just turn into slow mo and I wasn't able to hear anything because all I can see is him. His hair is so unlike Jax's. If Jax’s was in good shape and obviously broke the glass in his room, his was not. It was messy because of the helmet he wore. But it didn't even change a thing about him. I bet it made him even more attractive.

I woke up a bit in a trance when I saw the big steps he was taking in our direction. None of me looked at myself to see if anything was wrong with me. I still seemed confused and Olivia noticed that. She cracked up at my reaction.

"Damn you bro."

Jax brother complained to him. He smirked and even licked his lips. His attention caught our group and he came to greet Aunt and daddy first.

My older brother handed him his graduation gown which made me frown. But it was immediately wiped out when i saw his look, wearing the robe. It was black with a velvet purple linings. I smiled lightly looking at him. It's violet, the same as Jax. School of Law.

“Congratulations, hijo.”

Dad told him. He grinned as he put on the cap. Of course my dad is proud. Unlike Jax, Erato really did want Law in the first place. That is why Dad is closer to him because Erato shows more interest than Jax’s. He's almost like his coach.

I can't help but to admire him more. He is unique among all here. The others were neat, well -dressed. Aboard the fancy cars. But he, the special one in my eyes.

It's a rare scene to see. Erato looking so well behaved with the graduation robe. But I also couldn't help but still see the arrogance and stupidity in him. No not, I mean the womanizer look in him.

"Where's your parents?" Dad asked.

His emotions were blank as he adjusted and looked at himself because there was no time.

"Their busy uncle." He said.

"What? No way." Auntie couldn't believe what she said. I know.

An Asterial graduating in college doesn't have someone with him because they are busy? No way.

"It’s because you didn’t tell them" Jax teased them.

Erato looked at him wickedly. I just silently look at them. To him, most importantly. I don't want to say anything because I don't want to cause a scene.

"I can't believe this. An elite Asterial is graduating yet no one was here with you? Can't Nhima lay the red carpet for you?" When my aunt was curious.

Nhima is his mother.

"Long story aunt." He chuckled.

And until the program started that's one of the thought that clouded my mind the whole time. I still can't help but wonder why no Asterial went with him. That's an impossible thing. Just so impossible.

His family will never miss this opportunity, it is surprising that there is no media to capture his graduation. That is so unusual. Their family is known not only in the Philippines but in other parts of the world. Everything they do can be on tabloids, news, social media and many more. But now? An important event of the third born and no one's here for him?

On stage, the law students were called, so I started to wait for his name to be called. We are ahead of the band because we are senior high.

I looked at the line for the stage and saw him leaning on the banister while those next to him in line were tense and very formal. I gasped my breath looking at him, A is his last name so he is third in line.

He look so out of place. I feel like this one just passed because his family is known. Like a fool who got lost at graduation. I didn't stop staring at him even though I could hear Olivia saying something to me.

I don't know if I saw him right but I think I saw him turned his head in my way. It's just that I'm not sure because at his distance I might assume again that he looked at me.

It was only then that I thought of taking my gaze away from him.

"Erato Asterial, Summa Cum Laude."

I stood up but my applause was left halfway because of the distinction in the end. I applauded loudly as I was out of my mind and dropped my jaw following his walk to the stage.

Olivia is still pulling my gown because she wanted to make me sit down but you won't notice me. He coolly shook the hands of the people in the stage.

I could see the medal hung on him and I heard loud applause for him. I applauded even louder just so he would know that I was the most amazed in the whole stadium.

"Fvck, Jade. Sit down! What are you? You’re embarrassing me."

Whispering Olivia said still continuing to pull on my gown. If I hadn’t seen a staff scold me to sit down I wouldn’t really have sat down.

Fortunately, Erato is also down the stage. I still followed him with my gaze until he disappeared from my sight.

"Oh my God! Olivia, did you hear that? Summa? I thought my brother and him are just all about gimmicks?"

I talked to Olivia as soon as I sat. She rolled her eyes and I knew she's irritated of me.

"I'm not deaf Jade, I heard it, yes."

"Too bad he had no acquaintance here." I said and fell silent.
