“Almera, get ready! Inform Kairo and Karen to go to the toilet to check on Thomas!” I quickly told Almera using the mind link, she blinked after she heard my command. I know she had a lot of questions for me but I am thankful that she didn't ask me.
“Kairo and Karen, we're already going to the toilet of this pack,” she informed me so I cleared my throat.
“Thomas, what happened, and what made you go here?” Thomas sat down on the chair in front of my table. He turned his gaze on me, and I saw that his eyes became green, so I acted like I didn't notice it.
Is he one of the healers? But, how is it possible that one of the healers can copy someone?
“I went here because I thought Alpha Brandon was here. He's missing, and I think that he went there in your pack.”
“He goes here but he isn't here anymore. What's happening?” I tried to act like I didn't know everything because I don't even know who's the person in front of me. If he can copy someone's image it's too alarming for me.
Thomas didn't answer me, he was looking in different directions which makes me think that he was planning nasty in my pack. He was tapping the table like he was nervous that I might catch him.
“Nothing, I think I need to go home. The Crescent Moon Pack was waiting for me.” I signaled Almera to make Thomas stop leaving, so Almera moved closer to him and then held his shoulders.
Thomas, who copied Thomas, scowled after what my Beta did to him. He was looking at me with a lot of questions in his eyes.
“WHO ARE YOU?” I roared so loud, and Thomas's eyes widened in disbelief. He opened his mouth as if he was trying to explain everything but he couldn't so he immediately closed his freaking mouth.
“Alpha Leah, what are you talking about? Did you forget that I am Alpha Brandon's Beta?”
“I know that Thomas was his Beta, but you aren't Thomas. I want you to reveal yourself or else, I won't think twice to kill you here inside my office. And I am not bluffing,” I threatened him, which made him swallow slowly.
“Alpha Leah, they found Thomas in the toilet but he was unconscious!” I can't help but growl after I heard that Thomas was unconscious. I know that Thomas was too important to Alpha Brandon.
“WHO ARE YOU, AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO THOMAS!?” I shouted so loud, but Thomas didn't even blink in fear, he stared at me full of pride.
“I still can't believe that you learned that I am not him. Then, I think you should guest, who I am, Alpha Leah.” Thomas's voice changed to a woman, and within a second I saw a woman in front of me.
“Did you know who I am? Did you miss your lover? Or, are you happy that Amoux wasn't finally in my mansion?” I paused and I realized that the woman in front of me was Samantha. She looks beautiful, and I realized this is why she gets a lot of men in her hands.
“Where is Alpha Brandon?” Samantha shrugged before she laughed at me. Her long attractive gown makes me distracted.
“What do you think? Well, I am here to inform you that you don't need to save Alpha Brandon. I want him to become my husband, I think he's good in bed too.”
“SHUT UP!” I can't calm down. It feels like my blood is boiling in anger, and I don't want to see her after what she did.
“I know that you don't want me to close my mouth, Alpha Leah. Because I know that you want Alpha Brandon more than Amoux.”
“What makes you think that----”
“I am a witch, I can copy your image to seduce Alpha Brandon. That's what happened to Amoux.”
I glared at her, but she giggled that she finds me too funny for what she said. What makes her think that I want to joke with her?
Did she mean that he and Amoux had sex because she used my identity to seduce him? I stopped when I remembered why I don't even feel my chest burning if Amoux had really had sex with her.
Amoux and I were mates, and I know that we still had a connection, a bond. The door opened and I saw the true Thomas arrive in my office. Kairo and Karen went into my office too, but they all stopped when they saw Samantha with me.
“S-Samantha,” Kairo whispered. Samantha laughed again, and I don't even understand why she was laughing.
“I am here to see if Alpha Leah was miserable, not that Alpha Brandon wasn't here anymore,” Samantha says, she walked towards the window, and then she looked out.
“You're Samantha?” Almera was shocked, so Samantha smirked at me.
“Yeah, did you think that I am an old lady who wants to bang with other men?”
“I want to know why you are here. And I want to know what happened to Alpha Brandon?”
“Hmmm. Do you want to see him so badly? Are you scared that he might fall in love with me?” Samantha's voice was the sound that I ever disliked hearing.
“I'm not scared because I know that Alpha Brandon won't fall to someone like you.”
“You're like me, Leah. You fucked with your mate while you were flirting with Alpha Brandon. What makes you innocent? Stop acting like the cleanest werewolf in this world.” I prevented myself from reacting because she was right all along. I am a hypocrite and I felt guilty.
“I went here to have negotiations with you, it's been a hundred years but I still can't find him. If you want Alpha Brandon to be free, I want you to find someone,” she added before she raised her eyebrows at Thomas.
“Alpha Brandon's Beta knew who you should search for. And I will give you a week for that, or else, Alpha Brandon will be finally mine.” We were all shocked when Samantha wasn't in the room anymore. Shit! Who's the person that I need to find?
