Leah's point of view
The electricity that I felt in my chest was too strong that I almost screamed in pain. Richelle was looking at me like she knew what was happening to me.
“R-Richelle.” I stammered when I called her name, but Richelle moved near me. She pointed her finger at my chest, which made me feel hurt even more.
“W-What are you doing, Richelle?” I felt weak for what I was feeling in my body; it felt like I was going to die when my chest clenched, making me stop to breathe. I was about to faint, but the place I was standing quickly changed. We went back to the small lake in the middle part of the land.
I was on the edge of the rock, and if I stepped back, I would fall within a minute. Richelle was watching me; I thought the electricity was gone, but I felt it on my chest again.
“Ahh!!” My legs trembled, and I heard a lot of voices.
“Leah! Please, wake up!” My eyes widened when I heard Alpha Brandon's voice. His voice cracked, and it looked like he was crying besides me.
“Alpha Leah! This isn't funny anymore!” Almera screamed, but I was confused; why did I hear their voices? I know that I was dreaming and why are they acting like that!
“R-Richelle, what is happening?” I smacked my chest when I felt a thousand of electricity again.
“This is not yet your time. It would help if you woke up, Leah.” Rochelle walked closer to me, and I was shocked when she pushed me onto the lake. I was falling, but she watched me falling on the lake, but instead of falling on the lake, I was gasping when I woke up.
I was coughing so badly, and I heard a machine beside me. I suddenly felt tired, and when I looked around, I saw Alpha Brandon's sorrowful face. He hid his face from me when tears fell into his eyes.
“W-What is happening?” My voice cracked, and I felt dehydrated. I saw a young man who had glasses on his sleeve. He went towards me and checked my vitals; his face was severe.
“Alpha Leah, what are you feeling?” He asked me, Almera was hugging Kairo while sobbing, and I saw Karen behind their back, a bloodshot in her eyes.
“I am alright.”
“Are you sure? You're my patient, so you need to be honest with me.” I frown because I don't even understand him. He was writing on the chart in his hands.
“Do you know these people around you? Can you hear me, Alpha Leah?” I was confused by his question and why I didn't know Almera. She's a bitch!
“If you are talking about my bitchy betas, of course, I know them.” Almera stopped crying and glared at me like she would pull my hair; I shrugged my shoulders and smirked at her.
“Alpha Leah, you've been sleeping for four days. Are you aware of that?” I was stunned by what the doctor told me; he stared at me for so long, like he was waiting for me to answer his useless question.
“This is not a good prank. Amoux went here yesterday! What are you talking about?”
“Alpha Leah, you're four days asleep. And, this time, your heart stopped beating, so we need to use this machine.”
“What— Is that you who was electrifying me all along? Did you know that it hurts? Do you want me to try this one on you!” I roared so loud, which made the doctor tremble. I was gasping when Alpha Brandon hugged me. And here it was again; I felt my heart racing for his sweetness.
“They're telling you the truth. I was trying to help you to fall asleep when I fell asleep too. We thought you were too exhausted, but when we wanted to wake you up, you weren't opening your eyes, Leah. And it's been four days; we panicked when our hearts stopped beating.”
“R-Richelle,” I remembered Richelle, which means when I talk to her, it causes my life.
“Don't you dare to repeat that?” Alpha Brandon murmured, the doctor coughed, and his cheeks burned in embarrassment.
“You're here in the hospital, Alpha Leah. You may be the Alpha of this pack, but the hospital was mine, so I won't tolerate that you treat my hospital like a fucking motel. You know what I meant, right?” The doctor bid his goodbyes to me after he explained what I needed to do and about the vitamins.
“What does he mean? Did you two fucked each other here?” I was about to drink the water, which was given by Alpha Brandon when I heard Almera, so I quickly spit the water.
Alpha Brandon chuckled; he caressed my hair, and he didn't even take away his gaze on me. He was scared that I would die if he didn't gaze at me but instead felt uncomfortable; I loved it.
Almera and Kairo decided to leave, and Karen was about to return home. She found out from Almera about what happened to me, that's why she helped to guard me, but it doesn't change the fact that I suspected her.
“Are you alright? I want to make sure; I don't want you to fall asleep again.” Alpha Brandon said; he took my hands and gently massaged them. Why does Alpha Brandon need to treat me like this? He taught me that I am worthy of loving, to cherish.
“Did you know that my mother died when I was with her? She was sleeping at that time, and I never thought that it was the last moment that she would open her eyes. And what happened to you makes me remember what had occurred to my mother.”
“Leah, I know I don't have the right to feel hurt, but when you were asleep for four days. I promised myself that I would let you experience and think that I love you.” I was shocked by his sudden confession, Alpha Brandon was handsome, and Amoux wasn't my mate. I would instead choose him to become my husband.
He's the first one on my list, but Amoux is my mate. And for the first time, I was confused about my plans.
“I want to do everything for you; please, let me, Leah.” I swallowed when he gently planted kisses on my hands. He even put my hands on his cheeks before he closed his eyes.
I don't want to be unfair to him, and I don't want to be a hypocrite that I felt something for Alpha Brandon.
“You don't need to—”
“I love you, Alpha Leah.”
After three days, I came out of the hospital, and it's been seven days since the last time I saw Amoux. I was worried that the Lycan might find out what they were doing behind his back.
I was walking to the training area when I saw a man, who had green eyes, walking towards my members. He had a lot of tattoos on his back, but what stunned me was the book's logo tattooed on his back. I sighed and tried to calm my nerves. He seemed new to me, but he was close to everyone.
The man had a mark on his neck, so I acted like I didn't know him. I resumed walking and checked every member who was training.
I gasped when I saw a kid fall to the ground, so I almost rushed myself on, panicked. The kid bit his lips as if he was stopping himself from crying, but I was alarmed when I saw his green eyes too.
“Hey, are you alright?” I smiled sweetly at him, and the kid pouted, which I found cute.
I chuckled, so I carried him; he was laughing at me, and I saw his cute dimple. I kissed the kid on his cheek, and my lips rose secretly when I saw the man who had green eyes go faster in our place.
“Baby, you're so cute! Are you new here?”
“Yes, we're new here.” The kid answered. And I realized that these two men were the ones we adopted into the Red Moon Pack.
“A-Alpha Leah.” The man bowed to me, so I rapidly nodded at him. He slowly took the kid in my hands, but the kid didn't want to free me. I giggled when he kissed my forehead.
“Are you the Alpha of this pack, beautiful lady?” I know this kid will grow up like a strong man, and he will make me cry to every girl who wants him.
“Do I look like the Alpha in you?” I acted like a kid, and I even waved his hands.
“Bryan, come here. She's the Alpha of this pack; she will feel exhausted if she carries you all day.” The man said to Bryan.
“Your name is Bryan. What a beautiful name you have. It suits you, baby.” After an hour, I decided to let Bryan play on the ground. The man who has a green eye was guarding his younger brother.
“I am sorry, Alpha Leah, that my brother—”
“It's alright. I understand. He's a kid, and he wants to be with anyone. And he's too cute to resist.”
“Thank you, Alpha Leah, for your great understanding.” I forced myself to smile. Does he think I would be moved if he told me sugar-coated words? I wasn't like that! I won't be moved even if he praised me, or maybe he thinks all women are the same.
“You don't need to thank me; it's my job, and I treated you all as my family.” I cleared my throat and gazed at him.
“Did you mind if I talked to you? Don't worry; I asked another member to watch your younger brother.”
“Alpha Leah, I'm sorry to tell you this, but I don't want to have intimacy with someone who isn't even my mate,” I laughed so loud, and we started to walk. We went into the back part of the house.
“Where are we going?”
But he was shocked when I pointed my silver knife at his throat. I grabbed his neck and tried to move closer to the blade on him.
“Who are you!” I groaned so loud. He tried to restrain my hold, but he wasn't successful.
“Who are you? Answer me, damn it!” I don't like traitors, and he was one of the traitors when I was searching for him. I won't waste another chance to make him prove that he is a traitor.
“If you didn't answer me, I swear you can't find your younger brother.”
