His Personal Omega Chapter 89

Leah's point of view

The man gazed at me, but he was scared and tried to hide his fear. But I was too eager to cut his throat; I know he's a healer based on his tattoo. He attempted to push me away, but I growled and attempted to stab him.

“No! Alpha Leah, don't do this!” My hand stopped when I heard Karen shout, but I didn't remove my eyes from the man in front of me.

“A-Alpha Leah, why are you trying to kill my mate?” I was dumbfounded by what Karen told me; this man was the mate she was talking about. I gritted my teeth in frustration, then glared at Karen, who had a lot of accusations on her face.

“He's the mate that you're talking about?” I hid my emotions when Karen went closer to her mate and protected him when she pulled the man behind her back.

“He is. And, I want to know why you are doing this. It's prohibited that you will attack someone without a valid reason. Did he try to kill you?”

“Karen, are you telling me that I dare to act recklessly as if I was abusing my power for being the Alpha of this pack.”

“That's not what I meant, Alpha Leah.”

“Ha, Do I need to be grateful that you still remembered that I am your Alpha? What do you think was why I was about to stab your mate?”

“I apologize for my behavior, Alpha Leah. I want to know what my mate did; I know you aren't like that. And I am sorry if I offended you with my words." I sighed and nodded at Karen. I can't believe that this man was her mate; this man was one of the healers, and I am sure of that.

The man bowed his head before he stared at me. His hand turned into a fist; he looked like he was arguing deep inside of me if he would admit that he was the one who shook the ladder in the library.

“Babe, is it alright if I talk to the Alpha privately?”

“Why do you two need to talk without me? I wanted to know what was happening, Adam. Alpha Leah won't act like this—”

“Karen, give us a space to talk, and I promise I wouldn't kill your mate.” Karen sighed, and she felt defeated when she saw that her mate wanted to talk to her alone. “Alright, but I will be back here. I trust you, Adam.”

When we both felt Karen wasn't near us, her mate, Adam, shook his head. His eyes were cold when he gazed at me.

“Alpha Leah, I want to tell you I am not the one who you're suspecting about what happened to you.”

“It's easy to deny my allegations, but do you have proof that it isn't you?” He paused and raised his head, looking at the sky.

“I don't have any evidence, but I know who it is. And, I was the one who put that book on the shelf.” I was surprised when he told me about my ancestor's book; what did he mean? Why does he have that book? Aside from the reason that he was a healer too.

“Make me believe everything that you tell me. I want to know the truth.”

“I don't need to prove what I was saying. Our cousin was the one who made you fall on the ladder. I witnessed how he shook the ladder; the elders authorized that we needed to go here; some healers found out that you are having a relationship with Sergio, and they all don't like that idea.”

“Alpha Leah, all of the healers didn't like the idea that you are doing something nasty with Amoux Sergio, and they want us to see it using our eyes. But I went here for a different reason; you're my cousin.” I was stunned when he told me that he was my relative. I furrowed when I peeked at his face. Does he think that I would stop doing this once he said to me that he was my cousin?

“I went here to protect you and to give you that book because I promised our grandma that I would give it to you. I planned to put the book on the shelf unanimously, but everything changed when I saw our cousin following you in the library.”

“And why would he do that? I don't even know him.”

“But he knows you, Leah. The hunters murdered his family, and we find out that one of the Sergio secretly allied with them. I know he was furious with the Lycan, and he wanted to kill them. He was with Amoux, so he was angry that the news was accurate.”

“I will believe in you now, but I want you to prove that you're telling me the truth. Anyone can claim that we are relatives even though it's not.”

“You find out that I was a healer, too. That's why you tried to kill me. I am not like that; the hunters killed my parents, too. But your parents didn't.”

I stared at his face for so long, fully recognizing our same features. Adam looked like a man version of me, but his eyes were beautiful and bold.

“Grandma said that I looked like your father. And, I can't believe that you like him too.”

I scowled after I heard him. Does he tell me that my appearance was like a man's? I know that my father had an attractive appearance, and my mother said she had a crush on him from afar.

My mother discovered that she and my father were mates; she even told me that she was secretly jealous of someone because that woman was too close to my father. They were best friends. Unfortunately, I don't even have a chance to meet her, and I dont even know her.

I turned my back on him, but he walked like he was ready to follow me. I saw the kid running towards us. Karen was behind his back like she was scared that the kid might be injured.

Karen raised her head, and she stopped when she saw that we were walking toward her. I cleared my throat; I rolled my eyes to Adam, who sprinted to his mate.

“Karen, I want you to find a perfect place for Adam. Are you living together under one roof?” They both nodded, so I removed my stares at them. If Amoux and I were like them, maybe I should be happy. I will be content with where I am.

I want to avoid myself to get jealous of those she-wolves who have an ordinary life with their mate. It's my dream; it's my dream with Amoux.

It seems like I can't have that; I can't experience how it feels to have a mate beside me! Since Amoux and I had a lot of enemies who wanted to stop our upcoming relationship.

I breathe out when I feel my heart ache, and I even taste the bitterness on my tongue. But when I was turning in a different direction, I was startled when I caught Alpha Brandon staring at me intently. His eyes were full of emotions that even Amoux didn't look at me that way.

And his eyes were sending chills inside of my body. My heart was pumping as fast as I had run a long mile. I couldn't even take my eyes away from him, and I felt my world was stopped spinning because of him.

Why does he have an effect on me like this? What is happening to me? My wolf didn't deny that I was affected by Alpha Brandon; it's not about his six-pack abs.

Amoux was my mate; it's not Alpha Brandon, but why did he affect me? And when I thought that Alpha Brandon would leave me if he found out his mate made me mourn.

I slowly walked toward him when I saw an arrow about to go to Alpha Brandon. I felt nervous that I almost ran to protect him, but when I was about to conceal him, he willingly accepted his fate.

“No! Alpha Brandon!” I screamed, which made the other werewolves run towards us. Alpha Brandon fell to the ground; he was spitting blood but grinned at me.

“D-Don't cry, Leah.” I wasn't aware that I was sobbing. No, Alpha Brandon, please don't leave. I don't want you to be gone; I wouldn't say I like it.
