Marinara caught up with him, pulled him by the hand, he turned briskly to look into her eyes, then he raised his hand to warn her.
"Don't get me angry Mari. She is a mother, if she wants to be with her son for a few days, then let her". He knew his words hurt her, but that was the only way he knows how to arrest the situation, so he just walked away, while she stares at his retreating figure. She could not believe what she was seeing. He just walked out on her, after allowing her stay, when she clearly doesn't have to, with the excuse that she is a mother. For the first time, Arthur indirectly reminded her that she have no son of her own, therefore, she wouldn't know what it felt like to want to be with ones child.
She didn't have anything more to say, and it felt pointless to want to fight, so what she just did was, she nodded her head and walked away. At first she wanted to leave the house, but then she thought that it would be too childish, she would stay, and see the end of Mogana's plan.
Back in the other room, Jayden was furious about the turn of event, and though he still felt weak, he got up immediately.
"I see that you are up to no good, and I am not surprised, I really don't expect anything less from you, after all, you were going to use me to get his attention, now you want to threaten him with what you used a charm on him for".
"Jayden, I am your mother, you should support me, not him, you are making me feel like I am all alone in this world, like I do t have anyone, you are really being unfair to me". She feigned anger.
"I am not proud to call you my mother, for you are doing things that I am not proud of.
Father loves Marinara. Is that not clear enough? He asked, raising his voice a little.
"But he should be inlove with me. He should want me, I know he will come around. I mean, if he is so inlove with her, how come she is so insecure, just hearing my name, let alone seeing me?
"That is not the point". Jayden tries to defend.
"It is the point. If she is certain, that he loves her, and wouldn't do anything against her, she wouldn't be moved by my presence, but she is clearly, moved by my presence, which means I have a chance". She smiles, but Jayden, wasn't giving up just yet.
"What do you expect the ladies with me to do, when you behave in such a manner? I am trying to see how u can love with them and be happy, while making all of them happy, and though it feels so hard, I think I am going to loose my mind soon, now if they see this drama of yours, you will only encourage then to do stupid things".
"That is your fate, not mine. I have done my part by bringing you to this world and making sure, you stay alive, when no one cares if you are alive or not, so what you will do for me now is to live your life, a d let me live mine". She walked away from him, while he got up, and went in search of his father.
He found him outside the palace walls. He sat at the top of a building, looking round at his kingdom. He usually stay there, whenever he wants to get his mind off things. From there, he could see almost anything he wants to see. On this special day, his thought was distracted, by the voice of his son. He looked down and their eyes met. He jumped down to meet him within seconds.
"Walk with me Son". He tells him, and they both started walking to God knows where, but they just walked on, as so many werewolves pass them on their way.
"I know what you are thinking, but when you love someone, you try and protect their feelings". Jayden shook his head in disagreement.
"That is not how to save the one you love from heart break. If you truely love the Queen, then you have to come up front and tell her the truth. My mother is using that to black mail you, and from what I have seen, she is going to want to do more, you just have to be able to stand your ground. It is true that the truth might hurt her, but telling the truth, is always better than telling lies, because when you tell a lie, you will always tell more lies, to cover the lie that you had already told".
"How do you propose I tell Mari what went down In the submarine between me and Mogana?
"She is your Queen, your Luna, she knows you, and she knows when you are not being faithful to her, and it is your lie, that makes you look like a big lier.
Hurt her with the truth, than please her, with lies". Arthur nodded his head. There was so much sense in what he just said, but still, he doesn't know if he will be able to summon courage, to tell Mari, what he did. He didn't want to dwell so much on that issue, when the time comes, they should be able to know what to do, so he changed the topic immediately.
"You said you wanted to know about my brother right? He asked him, and that really took his mind off, as he nodded expectantly.
"He might attack anytime now, therefore, you need to be ready to face him.
The issue is that, he looks exactly like me, you might have a little difficulty, differentiating us".

We share too many similarities, just that we have different traits.
