Lora stared at him with pity. She had never seen a grown up man cry before, let alone their soon to be alpha, she bent down to be on the floor with him, and held him by the shoulder.
This was when he was supposed to realize that he should get up and dust his butt, and act like everything was okay, but he just couldn't be strong anymore, he allowed himself be consoled by the little girl.
"They say you love her more than others, now I know it is true, but don't worry, I am sure she loved you too". She says, with the use of past tense from her, Jayden cried some more.
"No, Nooooo! His voice was so loud, and even louder than the bell, for he could hear sounds. The palace that had felt deserted, suddenly became lively again, as everyone started rushing to where the sound came from.
When the door was opened, even those that had gone to meet him half way by the river had reached the palace, his father and Queen Marinara saw him on the floor, and tried to console him, after they successfully, sent every one out, including Lora.
"Father, how could you have allowed her get hurt? He asked him.
That should not be his first statement to his father. He had thought of telling him everything that happened on his way. He had so much to share. He was going to tell Blair about Hurricane, and how he named him, he was going to take a walk with her, he was going to make sweet love to her, and she will tell him how much she missed him, but now, she could not even look at his face. She could not smile at him, she is just there, with her eyes closed, her lips joined together, her lashes clapped together, her skin and face as clear as the skies.
"I am sorry son, I was sick, and she was nursing me, she never left my side, but just once, she left to get my food, her coming back, became forever. I was called upon to come get her at the river, where she was, I couldn't explain what happened.
"Shadon, you dared me, now you will face my wrath! He says, getting up, but his father blocked him.
"Please son, you don't go to war with the devil without a plan. I know you are hurting, and I take full responsibility for it, but please, we need to plan. Shadon doesn't have a home where you can go to, he is always hiding, so please my son, calm down". He fell to the ground again, but this time, he didn't wail, he just allowed hot tears drop freely on his body.
"Everybody leave! I want to be alone with her! That was not a request, it was a command, and though king Arthur and his Queen still had their issue, the situation at hand, calls for them to be united, even if it was for the time being.
They needed to stick together, to help him get through the situation.
"Do not let him out of this palace, stop him anyway possible, and you, get me Sodom". The king gave order, while he took a seat, close to the door. He too, needed to keep guard.
He knows that why Jayden had asked them to leave was to grief and wail freely, but he too needed to be close to him, so that he doesn't hurt himself.
Jayden went to the glass tomb and raised it up, then he held her by the hand, he kissed her, thinking of what Lora had said, but she didn't wake up.
He thought that maybe since his heart was filled with rage, it may not work, so he tried thinking of all the good times they had spent together, and what it meant to the both of them. but still after thinking of it, and kissing her again, it still didn't work. She was just lifeless. He thought of their wedding at Paris, as her face became clearer, and she was smiling all through, being around her loved ones and friends, but still, it was all dark, it didn't work.
Jayden let out a tear, and it dropped on her face, then he kissed her, this time, it was a kiss with hurtful emotions, he kissed her as if she was responding to his kiss. He inserted his tongue inside her mouth and kissed her passionately, but something stranger happened. He would have thought that what Lora said had happened, but that was not what happened, he was pushed away forcefully with the vision that came to him.
He saw her, seating with Tangy and Astra, and they were all laughing with her. They looked like they were friends, only to later be called, to see her by the river.
He also saw her in the river, that was when she died.
Jayden got up, he didn't want to think that the women in his life have become so jealous, that they started killing each other, he looked around him and tries to get his thought straight.
He opened the door, and the first person he saw, sitting by the door, waiting for him was his father.
"Son? He heard him call.
"Where is that Witch Astra? He asked his father.
"She is in her room, she had wanted to come and see you before, but I told her that you didn't want to see any one, what is the problem? Arthur wanted to know, for Jayden looked like he had been possessed by some unforseen power.
"I want to see her, tell her to come to me". He says and went back inside.
He wants her to be looking at Blair, while he questions her.
Just seeing the three of them laughing with Blair, could mean that she killed Blair, for Tangy was incapable of killing Blair. She is a kind lady, he had stayed with her longer, so he was not in the list of his suspects.
Astra was so happy to welcome Jayden.
As soon as she opened the door to where Blair is, which will be her first time in that room, she didn't expect what she got. Jayden raised her up with his hand and started strangling her.
"How dare you slay the love of my life, do you really think I will love you if you kill her?
"I did not kill her". She managed to say, but that didn't make him drop her, he still held her tight, till she started having difficulty breathing. He bent her throat, and it seized her ability to speak, she suddenly became dumb, but it was a temporal issue. Nothing that a witch power cannot solve.
