Kate
"Thank you so much, Wolfy. If you think I am desperate to have a boyfriend, then so be it. I don’t fucking care." I was still mind-liking my nagging wolf when I heard Kyle’s voice.
"Ain't you getting down?" He asked. "We are already in school, and what are you thinking about? I have been calling out your name for a minute now. What's wrong?"
"It’s nothing, Kyle. I'm fine." I opened the door and got out of his car. On stepping down, I saw Tina. What a bad start!
Why should I meet this bitchy witch this early in the morning? She saw me and became all smiles. She was so happy and I know why. It must be because of Kyle’s new ride. She walked majestically to where he had parked.
"Good morning, baby," she greeted before pulling him into a hug. "Awwn. I miss you so much, honey," She began to shower him with kisses.
"I miss you too, Tina, but can you stop kissing me in public?" He said. "We are in school. Try to get a hold of yourself,"
"I don’t understand you, baby. What do you mean by that?" She asked. "This isn’t the first time I've kissed you in school, and you've never complained. Why complain now, or are you still mad at me? If so, then I apologize. I’m sorry."
"I’m no longer mad at you," Kyle said, pulling her hand away from his body. "I forgive you already. There’s no need for you to apologize over and over again,"
"Then what is wrong, Kyle?" She asked, sobbing, "Why are you rejecting my touch? Are you disgusted by my touch?"
"It’s too early for this, Tina. Can we stop and talk about something else?" He sighed, backing away. "I hate it when you nag about something that doesn’t make any sense to me. You know what, fuck it. I have a class to attend, so I should get going. But by the way, you are yet to apologize to Kate."
I saw her angry gaze in a flash before she suppressed her anger with a smile. With my werewolf gaze, nothing can escape me. I knew her smile was fake. She's only happy because her boyfriend is here. Deep down in her heart, she wanted me dead. I still don’t believe she’s a changed person. How can someone as evil as her suddenly change? She can deceive Kyle for all I care, but she will never be able to deceive me.
"Hello, Kate. I'm sorry, I didn’t notice you were standing here," she began. "I’m so sorry for the emotional damage that I might have caused you. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?"
She didn’t notice me? Ah. Our eyes met and locked when she was coming over to meet Kyle, and now she’s saying she didn’t see me. Am I too small? Too insignificant? Who’s gonna believe she feels remorseful? Only an idiot like Kyle is gonna believe her.
"It’s okay. I should have greeted you first, but I didn't notice your presence," I admitted, smiling. "I forgive you, Tina."
Let’s see who’s gonna kill each other with their fake smiles.
She gave me yet another phony smile. "Thank you. You‘re so nice," she said, gritting her teeth in anger. "Can we be friends? I would like to be your friend."
"Hmm. About that, I don't think it’s gonna work. I don’t like keeping friends."
She turned to Kyle, begging him, "Please help me beg her. I think she’s still mad at me. You two are friends, right? Please talk to her,"
Wow. Unbelievable. I must admit that this bitch here has good skills. Her acting is top-notch. She started tearing up, bringing out fake tears.
"Kate," Kyle called. "Can you forgive her and be her friend? You two should be friends."
"I already forgave her, Ky, but no one said I must be friends with her," I replied. They are pissing me off. She has her bitchy friends. Why was she so adamant to be my friend?
"I'm sorry," she said, picking her nails. "I didn't mean it like that. I'm not trying to force you to be my friend."
Is this bitch trying to make me feel guilty? She’s trying hard to make me look bad.
"It’s okay, Tina," Kyle said. "Kate isn’t a bad person. She just doesn’t like keeping friends. Please, I want you to try to understand her. Stop forcing people to be your friends. I don’t like that either."
"I know you will be thinking I am forcing her to be my friend, but I’m sincere about being friends with her," she uttered. "I like her, and if she refuses to be my friend, I'm going to take it that she’s yet to forgive me."
Is she crazy? She’s showing her pitiful side. What does she want from me? Why does she insist on being my friend? She must be up to no good. Well, keeping your enemies close to you isn’t bad. I’m going to find out why she wants to be my friend and the only way to do that is to play her game.
"Tina, please try to understand that she doesn't want to be your friend. That doesn't mean she hasn't forgiven you," Kyle yelled.
"It’s okay, Kyle. I don't think it's a bad idea for me to be her friend," I smirked. "Let's be friends, Tina."
"Wow. Are you for real?" She asked, showing all her teeth. "You will be my friend?"
"Yes, Tina. Let's be friends."
"Oh, my god. I'm overjoyed," she mumbled. She hugged me so tightly that I could hardly breathe. "Thank you, Kate. I can’t wait to let everyone know that we are friends."
"Can you let go of me?" I whispered.
"Oh sorry! My bad! I think I hugged you too tightly," she apologized.
"It’s okay," I said, pulling her into a hug. I gather all my strength and nearly hugged her to death. You try to hurt me. I will hurt you back in a way you can never imagine.
"Please, stop," she cried out. "You are hurting me. Let me go."
I released her. "Why?" I asked her with a pitiful eye. "What happened? Don’t you want to be my friend anymore?"
She was finding it hard to breathe and it got me almost cracking up.
"What’s wrong, Tina?" Kyle asked. "What happened?"
"Ahhhh!" She clutched her chest.
"Relax and breathe," he said as he smoothed her hair. I stood still, looking at her. She thinks she can hurt me with her little strength.
"Why? Why did you want to kill me?" She inquired. "What did I do wrong, Kate?"
"What are you talking about, Tina? Why would Kate want to kill you? Are you trying to pick a fight with her again? Are you trying to blackmail her in front of me?" Kyle screamed at her. "I thought you were a changed person. I guess I was wrong."
"No, Baby, it’s not like that. I am not trying to blackmail her. It's just that she hugged me too tight that I almost died. I thought that she wanted to kill me. I'm sorry," She tried her best to pacify Kyle's anger.
"Why should you think like that?" He asked. "You were the one begging her just now to be your friend. And she just accepted. So why would she wanna kill her newly-found friend?"
