My Rejected Mate And Our Secret Triplets Chapter 33

Chapter 33

***ALVINA***

"Alvina Vasquez, you are hereby banished from this pack, never to return!" Logan said at the top of his voice, his voice echoing in the dark. The guards stepped closer to me and they nudged me out of the border. I looked at everyone one last time before I continued walking into the dark forest. I looked behind me and watched as they all returned to the pack until they all disappeared from my sight.

I looked around the forest, feeling a tingling feeling of fear crawl in my skin. I looked up at the crescent-shaped moon in the sky.

I had to get to LakeMoon pack as quickly as I can. I felt a sharp pain on my forehead and raised my hand to touch it. There was a small cut on it from when the stone hit me there earlier and my fingers could feel my sticky blood.

I continued walking through the forest staying close to the trees so I could stay hidden from anyone who could be close around. It was dark but I could still manage to see where I was going and I knew the direction of the LakeMoon pack even though I had never gone there on foot.

I felt my stomach rumble and I realized I hadn't eaten since morning. My stomach was empty but I still had sufficient energy because of the herb my father sneaked to me while I was in the cell.

It was an herb injured werewolves took to boost their strength and help them heal faster.

He told me he would make sure I was able to return to the pack and I still didn't understand what he meant. The only way he would be able to bring me back was if he somehow became the Alpha of the pack.

I didn't know how long I had been walking, but I knew I had to cross to the other end of this forest and head west. LakeMoon would be the first pack I come across.

I continued walking, staying close to the trees. I stopped walking as I saw a peach tree. My stomach was hurting and if I could find a ripe fruit to eat, It would make the walk easier. I looked all the way to the top of the tree and my claws extended from my fingers. I jumped on the tree, digging my claws into the trunk before slowly climbing all the way up to the top of the tree.

I sighed in satisfaction as I got to the top and I sat on a thick branch, overlooking the dark, moonlit forest.

I plucked a ripe peach and began to eat it as I sat on a thick branch of the tree. I ate about two of them and prepared to climb down when I heard the rustling of leaves and a footstep. I stopped and froze in place, my heart pounding in my chest.

I just have to wait for whoever it was to pass by. I assured myself.

PRESENTLY.

By the time, I blinked once, James pinned me to the wall with his sword held to my throat. He smirked at me, grinning victoriously.

"I win," he said with a teasing smile.

"No, you didn't," I clapped back and suddenly stepped on his foot.

"Ouch." He cried in pain and I suddenly pushed him back, knocking the sword out of his grip. The sword clattered to the floor and the two of us glanced at each other at the same time before looking at the sword at running for it.

Before I could grab the sword, James grabbed me by the shoulders, flipped me around, and slammed me against the wall.

He pinned me to the wall with his right foot on my left foot, his second leg pinning my right knee and his hands holding my shoulders to the wall.

"You were saying?" He asked with a teasing smile and his face was so close to mine. As he breathed, I could feel his hot breath on my face and his eyes flickered to my lips.

"When are you going to accept my proposal?" He asked and let go of me, moving back. James liked me and he already told me when he tried to kiss me a few months ago, but I didn't let him.

"Oh, come on James, don't make this weird," I said and I walked away from him, picking up the swords and hanging them back on the wall.

"There's nothing weird about liking a lady," he said and I shook my head, turning my back to him and picking up my water bottle where I dropped it.

"Tell me, Alvina, are you seeing someone else," he asked and I stopped drinking the water held to my mouth immediately. I couldn't tell him about Derek.

I covered up the water bottle and dropped it.

"No." I shook my head.

"Then, I'll keep trying until you accept," he said and I rolled my eyes before walking out of the training room.

Speaking of Derek, it should be past five already and the mail for today would have arrived. I quickly went to the mail room and knocked on the door.

The door was soon open and I walked in.

"Is there a mail for me?" I asked and Patricia, the one in charge of mail shook her head.

"Oh," I said in disappointment and nodded.

"Alright, thanks." I walked out of the room and headed to my room. It has been three days since I sent a letter to Derek and he hasn't replied.

He always replies the next day. It has been a while since we met and I wanted to meet with him so I sent him a letter about it.

"Maybe he didn't receive the mail," I thought as I walked into my room and shut the door.

I walked to my drawer and grabbed a fresh paper and my pen.

I have to write him another one.
