"That counselor isn't helping you. I want to protect you and everyone at your school. Please help us."
"I can't..."She sighed.
"Huh?"
"Truthfully, doc is..."She was saying when Sahan materialized beside her.
"So, what were you planning on saying, Hannah?"
Darn, Zuriña swore as she made to attack Sahan who blocked her attack.
"Just as I thought, you're quite amazing, detective."
"Doc, I didn't say..."He turned to her and she started shaking.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me this once."
"Hannah, why are you talking like I did something wrong to you?I don't want others to misunderstand my..."
"It looks like she's frightened to death just by the sight of you. To me, you reek so much of someone who's done something very wrong." Zuriña snorted.
"How upsetting. Please, listen to what I have to say. I feel like what you just said was over the line..." He swept his hair back. "If you say something so spiteful, do you think you'll be able to live peacefully with your family?...Wait, I guess it could be possible that you don't have any family, so forgive me for being so rude."
"Maybe, it's because of your job, but you're really good in provoking others." She scowled.
"Just like a fruit fly...ah, was that a bit rude to say?"He asked, a wicked smile tuging at the corner of his lips.
Hannah started shaking seriously, like someone who was possessed and she couldn't hold it in anymore, so she sent a punch into his stomach. He only staggered back to her surprise, and she walked over to grab him by his neck, pinning him to the wall.
"Are you okay? Seeing how you're still alive,I guess you aren't human. But it's okay for me to beat you to a pulp, right?"
"You're strong, detective." That annoying smile was still on his face.
"Release Hannah from her hypnosis. If you don't, I'll wring your neck like this."
But it was weird. She was sure she used enough strength to cause him to lose consciousness but he wasn't hurt at all.
Why?
"That's because you've been caught by me, too."
What? He could read her mind? How was that possible?
She felt a serious mirage running through her head and she blocked her ears. The ground seemed to be shaking vigorously and she had a hard time, trying to balance.
What? When the hell did he do it? Was it when he did it to Hannah?
"You okay?" She heard him ask. "That should have killed you, but seeing how you're still alive,I guess you aren't a person either."
Sahan had an ability like this? She wondered. He didn't lay a hand on her though. Was it something like telekinesis?
She felt her eyelids closing slowly. She was losing her consciousness. If she was a bit more clear headed, she could have broken the hypnosis. If she fainted now...
"By the way, thanks for getting captured so easily. So stop struggling and go to sleep like a good girl."
No.
There was no way she could let Sahan win. She'd be disappointing a lot of people. The priest, her siblings, the detective...and even the helpless students in school.
She slowly felt the mirage fading off and the ground stabilizing and she rose to her feet to Sahan's surprise.
"Woah...you broke through that?No one has ever been able to break from my hypnosis. How interesting...then what about this?" He snapped his fingers and Hannah came flying towards her.
She tried to avoid her punch but she ended up getting hit in the stomach. She bumped into a wall and Hannah raced towards her, punching and kicking her repeatedly before she could recover from each one, which sent her flying towards different places.
Her eyelids were gradually closing. She couldn't count how many times she'd gotten hit and she couldn't make a counterattack because the bones in her body were broken.
Another punch landed on her stomach and she didn't know what she crashed into that time. The feeling of getting hit was slowly losing its' sensation. She raise her eyes to see Hannah one more time. She had completely lost herself. Was there no way to defeat Sahan's hypnosis?
Everything gradually turned blank
"Zuriña... Zuriña... wake up."
Her eyes gradually opened to see the detective beside her, a worried look on his face.
"Are you okay? What happened? You went out saying you had something to check out." He said
"Thank you for everything." She recalled Hannah smiling down to her back there.
So she wasn't hypnotized, but how had she been found?
"Were you the one who found me, detective?" She asked.
"Hannah told me the plate number of the truck you fell on. That's how I found out you."
"I see." She replied and languidly made to sit up.
"Will you be able to get up like that? You should rest a little longer."
He was right. Her entire body was broken.
Was the hypnosis still in her body? Her whole body felt numb and she couldn't feel the pain. She'd probably take a few days to recover.
On pushing the bed covers aside, she was stunned to see she was better already.
"I'm completely fine?"She asked.
"What do you mean?"
"How long was I out?"
He glanced down at his wristwatch. "About two hours."
Was that all in her head? She asked herself as she rose up. The acute feeling of pain when every single cell in the body was ripped apart.
"There's something I found out today. If you get caught in Sahan's hypnosis, it's extremely dangerous because it feels so real but I don't know why, but Sahan's hypnosis... doesn't seem to work well on Hannah."She said
"So if we can find out the reason for that, we can capture Sahan...I just finished looking into her background. You should come take a look."He said and turned to lead her towards the investigation room.
Her jaw dropped on seeing the information on the projector. "This is..."

Hannah turned to the next stairs with the doctor beside her. He'd brought her back to the school and since she was pretending to have been hypnotized, she couldn't ask questions.
"Now that you've become a full fledged vampire, it's time for you to go to work." He said.
He'd probably expect her to kill the detective so she asked. "Yes, doctor. Just leave it to me. I have a feeling that the detective won't stop. Should I go and kill her?"
He laughed as they walked up to counselor's office. "Are you already fond of blood, Hannah?"
"I just hate the guts of that detective, doctor."
He opened the door and they walked in."Now that I think about it you haven't eaten in a while, right.Since your body has changed, so should your diet."He said as he walked over to a box and opened it. There was a loud squeal and her eyes widened when he dropped a mouse in her hands. "Start with this."
"What?"She asked, finding it difficult to believe the doctor would actually give her a mouse to eat.
He snapped his fingers. "Eat this."
She swallowed as she dropped her eyes to the struggling creature in her hands. How was she supposed to drink its' blood? She felt like she was going to throw up.
"Why aren't you eating? You should be salivating after starving for a while."
It didn't matter anyway, she thought as she sank her fangs into the body and satisfied her hunger.
"You'll feel stronger. That's all for today. Go home and get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow." He said as she dropped the dead mouse on the floor.
"Yes sir." She replied and was about to leave when the doctor pulled her back.
"Oh, and Hannah...how long has the hypnosis not worked on you?"
"W...What?...What are you talking about?" She stammered, wondering how he knew.
"You led that detective towards downtown on purpose."
"No, how could I..."She panicked as she took shaky steps away from him.
"Did you really think I wouldn't notice?"
"I swear...I'm not lying. Why would I help that detective?"She cried as tears ran down her cheeks. He was going to kill her.
"Since you ruined my plans...you need to be punished."
She screamed as the rest of the mice squealed as they ran out of the box, headed for her.
Kaiwan pulled up the roller door and Zuriña was surprised to see new parked bikes in the garage.
"Let's stop jumping around between buildings. It's time to travel without being suspicious."
"Are these all yours, detective?" She asked.
"They're nice, right? They're my treasures. Looking at these babies make the fee days that I went without food worth it." He turned to look at her. "Ah...do you have a license, Zuriña?"
"Yes, I have driven a shopping scooter before."She replied.
"Then, I have the perfect one for you."He turned to gesture to the neatly parked scooter.
"She's cute, right? It was as if she was waiting for you."
"That's nice..." She turned to trail her fingers around the black bike. "...but can I take this one instead?"
"I knew it. You know your ride Zuriña." He replied.
They mounted their bikes and drove out of the garage, headed for the school. It was time to attack Sahan.
"Why do you think Sahan's turning vampires at a school?"
"Schools are the perfect place to pick out subordinates. He'd admit troubled students by giving them a false sense of security then trap them in his hypnosis, later turning them into vampires." He replied.
"All he has to do is drink their blood. Why is he he doing it in such a roundabout way of hypnotizing them?" She asked, moving her hand on the accelerator.
"There are a lot of bastards who cause havoc after becoming a vampire. He uses his method in order to minimize his plans from derailed."
It didn't make sense to her. "If he's going to make them into weapons, don't they need to have a strong physique? Someone like Hannah wouldn't be ideal when it comes to that, despite having a weak mind."
"A strong desire."He said and she turned to him.
"What?"
"Even if the vampire originally had a weak body as a human if they had an instinctive strong desire, then they'll turn into a very strong vampire. Lucian was extremely arrogant and when he was given vampire's blood,it enabled him to become an angel of death."
"Sahan is very dangerous."She turned to the road.
"That's right and I think we need to hurry."
"Why's that?"She asked as she turned to drive towards him.
"Sahan has made dozens of infiltrated schools like this.Once he gives the signal, those 'vampire eggs' will awaken."
"What?" She yelled.
"Thankfully, this is the only school where he's actually has implemented his plan so far which is why what we do now is very crucial. If we don't stop him here, the number of vampires will skyrocket."
Her mind went back to all the kids at school. They were cute and sweet kids. How dare he fester to their pain when they're already suffering so much?
Biting her lower lip, she sped up.
It was a couple of minutes after eight when they arrived at the school that night.
"Do you remember the first day we came to this school? There were black out curtains that were recently hung out in the principal's office." Kaiwan said and turned to look at the school."If I were to assume, there's one thing that would come to mind."
"I think so too. The principal was bribed." She replied.
"But this isn't something I expected...Do you feel that?" He asked. The environment was more chilly, unlike normal days.
"Yeah, I do."She replied and they turned to see students staring at them through their windows, their red eyes illuminating the darkness.
"Everyone in the school is already a vampire."
Someone screamed and their head whipped round to the direction it came from.
That sounded like.
"Stop... please. Don't kill me. "
"Hannah?" Zuriña called as they rushed over to her and she raised her head to reveal her bloodly face.
"Detective?...Please help me." She cried and Kaiwan took her arm over his shoulder and helped her to her feet, and Sahan walked out just then.
"What bad timing. I believe I was in the middle of taking disciplinary action...Ah, maybe I shouldn't call you detective, but pure-blooded vampire, right?...I'll really kill you this time."He said.
"Will you really?"
"You were the one who got caught in my hypnosis and taken away in a truck. Where's your confidence coming from now?"
"Let's see if you'll say the same thing in five minutes...But you know, a course should have appetizers for you to enjoy the food. Isn't that right?" He asked and the students started tropping out of the building, bright red eyes glaring at them.
"That's a lot of appetizers, don't you think?" Kaiwan asked, referring to the students.
"How dare filthy trash like you, take the students as hostages?"
