Life is full of wrong indeed. Sometimes I feel like I am drowning in blood full of mistakes. Whoever thought I would cross that line and crack out that boundaries. I want to see some changes on humans for being fooled by power and politics but I guess while bringing in those would get me to lose on my way. I just want to kill them with laws, kill them with their fire and a fight with their blood. I guess this is officially my life now.
"What are you talking about?! Are you really out of your mind huh?!" I want to clean all this mess I did and, here's my mother's best friend who's never leaving us to live on our own.
"Nakapagdesisyon na ako Director. I already did a call to one of the doctors whom I trusted. Rogen and Calvin will be together while I am here cleaning all the mess that surrounded here in your soon-to-be hospital." I said while looking up to the sky above.
"Hindi ito ang gusto ng Mom mo para sayo," pag iling pang aniya.
"After that day, you pointed out a gun in your father's direction, I saw you not just you but your anger, that will put you down. End it now September, let us help you. I know what are you up to, let me handle this as a guardian of yours and Calvin."
They knew. I knew it, they're not just with enemies with an eagle eye but owl eyes watching me with everything I would do.
"Buy my shares and let them leave, if you and tanda already knew what I'm up to then, help me out, let's finish this. After that, I'll find my exit."
I already planned it while multi-tasking with my duties here and buried it after visiting Mom.
"Can you please stop everything and enjoy your day today? It's your birthday for heaven's sake," he said while massaging his head.
"You must know that being an attorney is not for me too, right? You saw me out of anger with my politician dad who killed my Mom, pointed a gun in front of your eyes. Isn't kind of to be amaze with?" nakangisi ko pang sabi.
"You heard what I said right? Na- wala nang De Luna na tatapak sa batas, I will get rid of him every single day. Pero isa lang ata yung natupad ko. Nagalit ako sa kaniya dahil pinatay niya ang nanay ko. Some people told me before that my mom and I looks like the same, they are all wrong because I look like my father."
Lahat ginawa ko para magawa ang gusto ko pero ngayon ko lang narealize na tumagilid na ang bangkang sinasakyan ko.
"Do you know what is your secretary doings?" Napatingin ako sa direksyon ng pinto na siyang nakasara papasok ng silid na ito.
"Alam namin. September, your Mom trust you about taking care of your brother. Sige, pumapayag na akong bilhin ang shares mo ngunit kailangan mong samahan si Calvin sa America. Just this one. Let us handle this."
No. This is not my plan. I am not a thief who will just run after stealing a bunch of mistakes.
"Even though I go there with him, I can't. Mamamatay muna ako bago niya malaman ang lahat ng ito. You know he's sick, but you tried to tell him what's my Mom last confessions to you were. That is not right as a guardian, Director."
I started walking until I reached the door, ready to leave.
"Let me be free again. I already spill dirty blood on my hands while I'm on my way to the tip of the mountain. There is no exit there, I need to jump on that Clift to end that war against by myself. I know what will be going to happen to me in the future, please take care of my brother until he becomes a good cancer-free man," I said before leaving.
*Flashback
"Senator Villaflor, I'm glad to meet you here. Do you still remember who I am?" I said while looking at him.
"The villain attorney, who killed Congressman Ho while he's on the run."
Napangisi akong nakakatitig sa kaniya habang pinapakinggan ang bawat salitang lumalabas sa bibig niya.
"Villain attorney? Did you name it like that? I didn't kill him, He kept on running with the law that's why he got an accident while catching him with my net that caused his living short."
"Why did you abduct me, then?"
"You didn't know where we're heading?"
Nakatitig lamang ako sa daan na aming tinatahak papunta sa lugar kung saan siya mas nababagay.
"Hindi ko alam na may puso ka pa pala para ikaw pa mismo ang magdala sa akin sa police station na yan? Kaya ako bumibilib kay senator De Luna eh, he has a daughter who's a fighter of the death."
"I'm already dead years ago after your partners planned everything, to get rid of my father on his way, and with my mom who got rid by my father. You, Congressman Ho, even the others, deserve to die with the law."
"How about vice president Rivera? Is he exempted from this? You know, he gained too much higher now, and I guess you can't stop him on the ground?"
"Do you think I can't point a gun on him? Even though he became the most powerful man in the world, no one can stop me to named your deaths."
I stopped the car and headed on the side to pull over this man on his post, the jail.
"May ibidensya ka na bang hawak at dinala mo ako dito? " Natatawa pa niyang pahayag habang hinihila ko siya papasok ng police station. Wala pang ilang segundo agad namang pumusisyon ang mga pulis dahil sa lalakeng kasama ko.
"Senator Villafor, arestado ka dahil sa pagpupuslit ng droga at pagnanakaw sa kaban ng bayan. May karapatan kang manahimik at tumawag ng sariling abogado."
"Pwede bang ito na lang ang abogado ko?" Natatawa pa niya sabi sabay turo sa aking gawi.
"You are crazy old man. Sige na kunin niyo na ho iyan. Masiyado ng nalunod ang utak nyan sa droga."
Nakatitig lamang ako habang papalayo ang mga nakahilerang pulis kasama ang senador na iyon. Kung nawala ako sa katinuan kanina ay hindi ko siya matatantiya. Alam ko sa sarili ko na lumalampas nanaman ako sa limitasyon ko.
Inilabas ko ang lumang baraha na nagmula sa Bise Presidente ng Pilipinas.
Malapit na ako sa pinakadulo ngunit hahayaan muna kita sa ngayon because I need to find them. *
"Oh, you are here."
Pumasok ako sa silid ni Calvin matapos magpalamig ng isip dahil sa mga nagbabadyang emosyon mula sa pag uusap at pagtatalo namin ni Director.
"Do you want to go somewhere?" I asked after I sat beside him.
"Hindi mo na ba kame susungitan ni kuya Roge? You know we did some effort to surprise you and your face looks like na namatayan ka." Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kilay at umayos ng upo.
"That's why I make bawi you know? Actually I am planning something for this week. We should have a vacation," nakangisi at medyo maarteng sabi ko naman sa kaniya. Wala pa man ay agad akong nabigla ng lumundag siya pababa ng kama.
"Calvin! Dahan dahan naman. Aatakihin ako sa puso sa mga pinaggagawa mo."
Sino ba naman kaseng hindi mabibigla kung bigla na lang siya lulundag pababa ng kama na hindi inaalalang nakadextrose siya.
"Wait ! Im gonna call kuya Roge! Wala ng bawian ate!" excited naman niyang kinuha ang phone niya malapit sa kama habang ako naman ay napabuntong hininga na lamang.
"Kuya Roge! Come over here now!"
Siguro nga masiyado akong naghigpit sa kaniya ng ilang taon dahil inaalala ko ang kalusugan niya. I can't see him often dahil kinakabahan ako na madamay ang kapatid ko sa isang criminal lawyer na tulad ko. Kahit naman papaano ay sumusunod lang siya sa sinasabi ko. He never leave this hospital for a longtime ago and I am scared he can't survive.
Ilang saglit pa ng makuha ng atensyon ko ang biglang pagbukas ng pinto at iniluwal nito si Roge habang hingal na hingal na ani mo'y nagmamadali siyang pumunta rito.
"Is everything okay?!" hingal na hingal pa niyang sabi habang pabalik balik ng tingin sa aming magkapatid.
"Kuya! Guess what?! We are going to Batanes!!!"
Napakunot naman ako sa inanunsyo ng kapatid ko kay Roge.
"Who told you na sa batanes tayo pupunta?" Kunot na kunot na noo kong tanong sa kaniya.
"You told me we are going to have a vacation and Ate! It is a great idea to go there!" masaya, excited at sumisigaw pang ani niya.
"Calvin hindi ka pwede roon. Bawal kang mapagod at bawal din tayong lumayo para sa kaligtasan mo. You're still in a medication. Lets just go elsewhere like tagaytay or batangas somewhere that you'll be safe at malapit lang rito," paliwanag ko naman sa kaniya.
"Is the Director agree with this? Amber, did you already see his charts?"
Agad naman akong napalingon kay Roge nang bigla itong magsalita.
"Yes, of course, we need to check first your charts. If everything's good after two days, we will go with it."
Maybe this is the last time I will see both of them. I can't move when both are around. I need to finish things.
I am sorry Calvin, but our sister is in a big mess. I can't just sit here without doing anything.
