How could you forget the past when the past connects with the future and the future connects of the result of your actions?
I kept the emotions inside me after that day. Ang akala ko wala na akong emosyon. Despite of doing my revenge I never thought my feelings for him already died years ago.
*Flashback
"What was that?"
Naitago ko ang isang brown na envelope at kinakabahang tumingin sa kaniya.
"What- Hey!"
As I've tried to hide it, mabilis niya itong kinuha at tinignan ang nasa loob.
"Do you think your dad won't know about this? He is a dangerous man. I told you to keep your distance within his businesses. You know your mom will get worried if she finds out about this."
Minsan hindi ko siya maintindihan. Gusto ko niya akong protektahan pero paano naman ako kung gusto kong protektahan ang sariling ina ko?
"If he finds out then its good. I need to work on this more. I don't worrying myself if I lost my father as long as my mom won't hurt anymore."
"Leave that alone or else-"
"What?"
Napapabuntong hininga siyang tumingin sa akin kasabay ng pag iling nito.
"Ang tigas talaga ng ulo mo? Fine! Just eat alone."
Ilang beses na naming pinag aawayan ang tungkol dito pero matigas talaga ang ulo ko. This is not for my own sake but for my mom and Calvin.
"Ganyan ka ba talaga maglambing? Minsan ka na nga lang magkaroon ng oras pati ba naman sa lunch ayaw mo pa? Tsk. Mamaya na ulit tayo may away matapos kumain."
Kunot noo lang siyang nakatingin sa akin matapos ay ibinalik nito ang envelope sa kamay ko.
"You know how I hate your father and I don't care what things he is up too just be careful because I don't know what I might do if he did something wrong to you."
"Kinikilabutan ako sa mga sinasabi mo. Tara na nga," natatawa ko pang inangkla ang braso sa kanya at hinila na siya paalis.

"Ate! I am ready for Batanes!"
After the doctor approved Calvin to go outside I started packing his things. This is actually his room now. Afterall Director's duty is to take care of him while I'm away.
"Just don't forget to bring your intake medicines," maikli ngunit seryosong sabi ko.
"Yey!"
Nanatili akong inabala ang sarili sa pag aayos ng mga dadalhin. Sa totoo lang ay iniwasan ko ding mapalingon sa gawi ni Rogen sapagkat hanggang ngayon ay nananatili pa din sa isip ko ang biglaang pagsasalita ko sa kaniya ng ganoon. Matapos ang pangyayaring noon ay nag iba na ang pakikitungo ko sa kaniya ngunit hindi man lang siya nawalan ng pag asa na suyuin ako. I know he is concern and still care for me that's why even if it's hard for him to go back and continue protecting me, he did.
Abala pa din ako sa pag aayos ng dadalhin ng may kumatok at iniluwak nito si Director. He never told Rogen what's happening and he know what is privacy. Its between us. He just thought na mapipigilan ako ni Rogen.
"Director!"
Tuwang tuwa at nagtatatalon pang pagbati ni Calvin ngunit agad ko namang sinuway ito sapagkat baka mabigla ang katawan niya. Hindi ko alam kung gaano siya kasaya ngunit ramdam kong kasiyahan niya ang nagbibigay sigla sa kaniya.
"I can't go with you three. Just enjoy and have some fun. Calvin, take care of yourself there. Whenever felt something strange just don't forget to tell it to your sister or with you kuya Rogen. Well, I just visited because I have some few things that I want to remind to you, Attorney?"
Natitigilan naman akong napalingon sa kaniya bago siya sumenyas upang sumunod sa kaniya.
"Continue what you have been doing, after our talk Im gonna check those and we'll go."
Naigilid ko pa ang sariling paningin sa direksyong kinauupuan ni Rogen bago lumabas ng kwarto.
Tumungo pa kame sa sariling opisina niya para lang mag usap.
"What?" mahinang tanong ko ngunit kunot noo akong nakatingin sa lalaking nasa harap ko.
"Since you know each other, He will be your assistant there. He will report everything to me."
"Why did he need to go with us?"
Hector probably think we were weird. Why would he want to bring him with us? I know I'm being careless but making this man involve isn't good.
"Because the Vice President isn't easy. I have guards around so you can have a peaceful reunion. Adams and I decided to have this not for your security but for Calvin's security."
"What's makes you think I wouldn't bring mine? Forget it. I don't need assitant. The guards are enough," I said and find the way of exit.
"I don't know what i this all about but may I know again why I am here?"
"This tough woman will be your boss for a week. You can go with her and If she rejected my offer I'll be placing her around of a ducks and chicken."
Napapabuntong hininga akong napalingon sa kaniya matapos ay huminto bago masama itong tinitigan.
"I am not afraid with them. Am I really a danger to you now? Fine! Just stop saying nonesense. You need to take care for all our expenses there, ofcourse with your own money."
Naiinis ako na hindi ko naman kailangan ang isang iyon pero tignan mo't pinilit talaga ng dalawang matandang iyon na isama si Hector patungong Batanes.
"Ngayon ko lang nairekober ang braso ko at mukhang mapapasabak na naman tayo, Attorney. Paano ba yan anong oras ang alin natin?" natatawa pang pahayag ni Hector matapos na sumunod itong lumabas matapos ko.
Magsasalita pa lamang ako ng makita si Rogen sa harap ko. Wala ako sa sarili simula ng may mangyare kahapon kaya ganun na lamang din ang pagtataka ko ng hindi siya huminto at dumaretso papasok sa opisina ni Director.
I know for sure, he is mad. I felt like I need more confident before talking to him. He dislike being ignored. If he doesn't like my acts I should be conforting him now. But after years without him, I felt like an olaf who stock with the stuffs inside my heart.
I think, I need to breathe.
