"I hope you enjoyed your week together. Calvin, don't forget to tell then if you fekt something, okay? We'll see each other after a week."
As the guard hand over the thingz we will bring, we try to have a hurry talk with the doctors including Doc Wilson. He must not be busy. No one would know that Calvin won't go here anymore after a week. I planned this. I need some time to pursue this plan.
"Hoping not to see you again! Just kidding!"
After a small goodbye of him, mabilis siyang tumakbo papasok ng sasakyan. Hector was there inside the Van but I kept ignoring the fact that this will be a long week a head of me.
"If something got wrong, I am sure the Director know what will do right?, Jist keep him on the track so he won't make any health problem for awhile."
"Yeah, I'll do your advice. I think we need to go now. Will just came back a week. Thank you for taking care of his health," I formally said before saying goodbyes and go inside of the van.
"We have a long trip so just sleep and rest."
Masaya at may kasama pang tango ni Calvin bago ako napatingin kay Hector na nasa harap katabi ng driver.
"What?"
Kunot noo kong tanong dahil sa patingin tingin niya gamit ang salamin sa gitna.
"I can't just imagine you really have a brother," natatawa niyang sabi bago muling tumingin sa akin.
"I didn't invite you for this and we're not going to a business trip. Just keep doing your job."
"I don't think this trip is hard plus I am going to a free vacation. I will Ms. De Villa."
Sa kabilang banda, ito siguro ang hindi ko inaasahang maiisip ko. Wala sa plano ko ang bakasyon. I just need to be more protective and ready without the knowledge of someone behind me. Even if they go after us.
"I haven't seen yiu two talking. Is there something happened!"
Out of nowhere, Calvin ask without hesitation. I believe they will felt strange but I don't need to answer something that might trigger him.
"Sleep. I'm gonna sleep too," I said before placing my pillow on my head.
After hours, we arrive to the private location of our airline and getting inside of the plane.
"After years I'm gonna flight this airplane, ate. It will happen I promise!"
Calvin got amaze as we seated on the suite.
"I'm sure, you will be a great pilot. Just keep yourself health and you will be like that man over there."
Itinuro ko pa ang mga stuffs at cabin ng pilot na ikinatuwa naman niya.
Buong flight ay hindi natulog si Calvin dahil sa excitement na nararamdaman niya. This is his first long trip and maybe our last together. I know he will felt betrayed after my planned was completed. It was a tough decision for me but doing this for his own sake won't stop me to continue this no matter what.
I don't know when we arrive to the land of his dream but I kept myself asking if I really need to do it. I don't want to damage his future. I know he will survive to his health problem but as long as I'm alive I won't let things passed on my back. I need to make sure the justice is on my hand.
That day passed by when we arrive to an hotel. We need to rest first before heading on the trip to Batanes.
"Ate, can I ate sone of this? Please? Just a little bit," parang batang kausap na saad ni Calvin. For heaven sake he is fifteen but he's acting right now as seven year old child on his Mom.
"If you want to stay here for long keep yourself health."
Seryoso ko lang sabi bago kumaing muli. I know I acted like a strict mom but I don't want to see him weak before they go.
Everything I will do starting today is for his own sake. I don't need to remind myself that it was for me because I never thought that was for my own sake.
"Do you think the lights are great?"
I can't sleep because of the thoughts crossing my mind. Hindi ako umimik dahil sa sinabing iyon ni Hector dahil okyupado pa din ang isip ko sa mga bagay na gusto kong gawin matapos ng lahat ng ito.
"I remembered the night when you need to run over without telling me what's the problem. And now everything is clear."
"Really? What made you think it was clear? I thought you're improving? A lawyer need to be broad and not just by watching."
"Well, I think I need more guide from an professional lawyer like you?"
"Can't you just go to sleep. I don't need aquiatance here."
After I drink a red wine I place it around the small table while still looking down the lights.
"If you think things will be tough just don't forget you have people around to talk for help. Whether the plan is wrong or right, you still need a human to discuss with before finalizing it."
After a bit of advice he left without goodbyes. But then I felt stiff when I saw Rogen walking on my way.
"Can't sleep?" he ask before sitting beside me.
"We still need to wake up early for another trip to go on another house accomodation in Alapad Hill."
I sight because of what he said. I want to rest and gl back to my own self like years ago but I kept being strong to have a justice on her case. I don't know If I can still do it after this and he won't be far away to me. I've been dreaming to have a future on the ground of my profession with happiness. Maybe I can do it in my next life.
"You are not talking. Do you still need me to stay here?"
That thing made my head turned to him. That's it. He's tired. I kept pushing him away.
"You need to go with Calvin."
As I've tried to calm myself up, his forehead creased.
"What do you mean?"
I didn't try to look in his eyes and staring on the city's light.
"After six days, you need to go with Calvin in America. He needs a proper health care there and Director already know about it... I need his recovery soon."
I can't hold my words back as I tried to tell him my plan. Whenever thinking about not seeing Calvin makes my world collapse. Pakiramdam ko kailangan ko ng isang baston upang suportahan ang sariling bigay ngayon.
"Why was that? I.. I don't understand."
"Just give me a few months to stay here. Susunod ako matapos ang isang buwan. It won't be long as I need to complete the things I need."
After consuming all words coming from my mouth, I felt a froze.
" Are you telling me to go with Calvin and stay with him while you are here doing something that we don't know? Who told you I would do that?"
Napahinga pa ako ng malalim matapos siyang umayos ng upo bilang sumusuway sa kagustuhan ko.
"Just for the last, I need your help for this. I don't know what things might happen but for my brother's sake, he need to be treated there and never go back."
When I looked at him, I felt my eyes watering. I don't know why I need to cry.
