At the Dark moon pack, after Alpha Reid had informed Rebecca that Hava was pregnant claiming the child was his, she couldn’t settle down with herself knowing it was a lie.
Lily was able to pull the same trick on him and it was not long ago before it happened and yet he was fooled again without thinking twice. She wasn’t going to let him get tricked no matter how naive he was.
She stormed into his office without knocking folding her arms at him,
“What is it Rebecca?” He asked curious why she would barge into his office just like that,
“Are you really happy?” She asked him and he was confused by what she meant.
“What are you talking about?” He inquired.
“Are you really happy to have an heir?” She clarified and he smiled, ofcourse he was happy. He was thrilled to know that he now had a child of his own.
“Yes” he answered.
“Did you ever stop to think if the child is really yours?” She asked and his smile faded. The last time she had said something like this to him, it turned out that the child Lily was carrying wasn’t his and she was tricking him by making him think it was his.
“Hava wouldn’t dare lie to me” he said. Alpha Reid had considered Hava as the weakest of his mistresses and the most scared of him, he believed a girl like her would never lie to him because she knew the consequences if she did.
“Is that what you think, weeks ago Lily lied to you that you she was carrying your child making you happy that you almost made her the Luna but when you found out the child wasn’t yours, you were devastated. Did you stop to think if fate was playing the same game on you again?” She asked him.
Alpha Reid wanted to think she was being jealous again but this was Rebecca, she would never lie to him.
“Are you saying that the child is not mine?” He asked for more evidence. He didn’t want to believe it to be true but with the way Rebecca was overreacting, it made him think that it was actually true and the child might not be his.
“It would be better if you figure that out yourself, I don’t have to tell you the truth all the time.
You are the Alpha, no one should dare lie to you” she uttered compelling him to take action.
Alpha Reid stormed out of his office as she watched him leave.
“This is what you get Hava for double crossing me” she said to herself. Rebecca was tired of giving second chances to anyone who tried to mess with her, she had warned Hava not to repeat what Lily did but she did it anyways making her mad.
Hava was sitting in her room when Alpha Reid walked with a scary look in his face.
“Is the child really mine?” he asked.
The question was so direct that Hava didn’t know how to answer it, if she told him the truth then she and Ashton would be punished and she didn’t want that for her child but still she didn’t want to keep lying to the Alpha and putting herself in further danger.
“You already know the answer to that” she tried to toy with his mind making him think that the child was his.
“Don’t you dare play mind games with me Hava, is the child mine?
Yes or No?” He asked her again.
Hava swallowed hard confused on what to answer, she had to save herself and the man she loved.
“The child is yours” she said.
Alpha Reid watched her and he wasn’t convinced, she couldn’t look at him in the face making him think that she was lying to him.
“Are you sure?” He asked moving closer to her.
“Yes, I am very sure” she answered moving back until her back was leaned on the bed.
“Then you wouldn’t have trouble sleeping with the father of your child, would you?” he said dragging her legs towards him as he stared into her fearful eyes.
Alpha Reid had only been able to sleep with her once and she had resisted him that time but he still had his way, he hasn’t gone into her after then. He needed to know if she would still resist him which would confirm to him that he isn’t the father because it would be much easier to sleep with him again if he were or she had someone else who had been touching her.
“What are you doing?” She asked as he unbuttoned her shirt one by one, she was scared of him yet she tried to act calm to be able to convince him that he was the father.
“Making love to the mother of my child” he whispered to her removing her bra and throwing it to the ground.
He ran his hands through her body watching her facial expression, Hava was so tensed having him touch her, she hated his touch on her body and only wanted her mate to be able to touch her. Hava didn’t know when she pushed him of the bed.
“Get away from me” she screamed wearing back her shirt to cover herself.
Alpha Reid got the confirmation that he wanted and he was damn furious,
“Who is the father of this child?” He grabbed her by the neck choking her down to the bed.
Hava knew she had messed up and it would hard to convince him that she was carrying his baby because she had just resisted his touch.
“You are” she lied and he got more pissed off, he gripped her neck with both hands pressing her deeper into the bed.
“I will fucking kill you if you don’t tell me the truth” he stated.
Eavesdropping on them was Rebecca, she had masked her scent so well that they weren’t able to notice her listening by the wall. Realizing what was going on she rushed to get Ashton.
Ashton was just getting into the pack house when Rebecca ran to him,
“Is there anything wrong?” He asked.
“It’s the Alpha” she said.
“What is wrong with the Alpha?” He asked thinking Alpha Reid was in danger.
“He wanted to know if Hava’s baby was really his, I told him it was his baby but he didn’t believe me because of what happened to Lily. He rushed to Hava’s room in a speed of light claiming he was going to get the truth out of her.
He was furious Gamma, you have to save Hava from him” she informed and Ashton dashed forward immediately she was done.
He was scared of what Alpha Reid might do to her, he could threaten Hava into telling the truth which would look bad for both him and her, he had to save her from him.
“Go ahead Gamma, go and save your mate and explain to the Alpha how you got tangled up with Hava” Rebecca’s smirked. She felt so glad to be able to play such games with them, she had just pulled the love card on Ashton because she knew he would do anything to protect Hava even going as far as defying the Alpha which was exactly what she wanted.
By doing that he would be showing Alpha Reid the relationship he has with Hava putting them in so much trouble.
“Let the party begin” she giggled.
Once again Rebecca has been able to make sure that those who got in her way were eliminated, she had been able to eliminate Richard and Lily who tried to take the Luna title from her claiming she was pregnant for the Alpha. And now she has caused the two love birds to expose themselves before the Alpha.
She rushed towards Hava’s room to watch how the drama would unfold between them, she knew she was in for a show and there was no way Ashton and Hava would be able to escape the Alpha.
