Alpha Coast arrived at the Crescent moon pack with his men,
“Search every inch of this packhouse until you find the boy” he ordered and his men dispersed around. He walked towards Alpha Nathan sitting down in his office waiting for him with a smile on his face.
He quickly rushed to him and grabbed him by his collar,
“Where is he?” He asked.
“You can kill me now and you would never be able to find the boy” Nathan replied instead playing his cards quite well with Alpha Coast.
“Where is he?” He asked again.
Nathan laughed, “if I remember correctly, I had requested for Bella and not you” Nathan said recalling quite well what he had written in the letter. He had expected Bella to be the one to try to rescue Luther but Coast was still a good choice anyways because the plan wouldn’t change but would only make it more fun.
“I will never give me mate into your care, now tell where exactly is he?” He barked at him showing how serious he was but Nathan was unfazed.
“You will never find him until I get what I want, so don’t expect me to do as you please.
You may turn this pack upside down but you will never be able to find the boy no matter how much you try” Nathan stated and the grip on his neck grew tighter as Coast was completely furious that he wanted to kill him.
He knew he was messing with him and he couldn’t handle such fact, he hated being messed with mostly by people much lower than him and Alpha Nathan was one of those people he considered lower than him.
“You are testing my patience Nathan” he said much more angry this time.
“Why don’t you drop me down and we can talk like the Alphas we are, besides I shouldn’t be treated this way because I have something of yours in my possession” Nathan suggested with a obvious smirk on his face looking at him.
“Alpha, we can’t find him” three men arrived at the office to give him report, he had divided them into two to search better and the first half had just returned.
In two seconds the other half also appeared,
“We have searched everywhere Alpha, we still can’t find him” one of them said for all of them.
“Wait in the car” Alpha Coast commanded and they all left, he turned to Nathan and he could see that he was enjoying toying with him.
“Put me down and we can discuss fairly” Nathan said and Alpha Coast slowly dropped him back to the ground. He walked towards a seat and sat down listening to what he had to say since he was the one in charge because he had Luther.
“Where is the boy?” He asked again.
“Where is Bella?, she should be the one negotiating not you. She is the one i want” Nathan stated. He still had the plan of using Bella to save his daughter because he believed that was the only way. Alpha Reid would most definitely trade Bella with Hava because she looked more beautiful and enticing to any man. It was an attribute she got from her mother.
Alpha Nathan could never forget how he had eyes for Bella’s mother at first because of how beautiful she was but she turned out to be the mate of his brother Isaiah.
“Leave my mate out of this, I can never give her to you” Coast echoed standing by his words. He would rather die than give Bella to Alpha Nathan to use her as he pleased.
“Thats the problem Alpha Coast, this is about Bella. I wouldn’t have Luther in my custody if I didn’t want to get to Bella, all these wouldn’t be possible if I didn’t want her.
Don’t you get it?, Bella is the only key to getting Luther back” Nathan made it physically clear to him that he needed only Bella but Coast wouldn’t dare give her to him.
“No” he retorted.
“Look it is quite simple, if you want Luther alive then you have to give Bella to me. And by that I mean give her to me and never look back or attack my pack” Nathan stated. He feared that Alpha Coast might trick him into giving Bella to him and then turn around to take her back by destroying his pack and all that he ever built, he had to make sure that he was making a safe deal.
“So you want me to trade places” he said.
“Exactly Coast, you give me Bella and I will give Luther back to you alive but if you refuse then I will have to end the life of the little boy” Nathan snickered.
Alpha Coast was silent for a while thinking about it and Nathan could understand it was a tough decision for him to take.
“I will give you three days to decide, in three days time if I don’t see Bella then I will not be able to guarantee that the boy lives” Nathan said. He could see how confused Alpha Coast looked and he loved it. He knew it was a good idea to hide Luther far away from the pack house otherwise Alpha Coast would have found him during their search.

Alpha Coast returned back to the Red moon pack to meet Bella anxiously waiting for him by the entrance, she watched all the men step out including Alpha Coast but she couldn’t find Luther with them. She ran to Coast.
“Where is Luther?” She asked him.
“Let’s talk inside” he said grabbing her hand as they walked into the castle until they got to their room.
“Where is Nathan?” She asked again behind closed door eager to know what happened. Coast had promised her that he would bring Luther with him but he didn’t so she needed to know why.
“I couldn’t get him back, Nathan still has him” he slowly answered looking sad that he had tarnished Bella’s hope of seeing Luther.
“What do you mean he still has him, you told me you were going to bring him back” she said furious that he hadn’t brought Luther with him as he promised.
“I know I had promised that but he had hidden Luther so well that I couldn’t find him in the packhouse” he answered.
“Does he need anything in exchange for Luther, he must want something?” She asked and he looked down at her with a much sadder expression.
“He wants you in exchange for Luther” he replied her and she paused. She knew Coast must have said no to that because he would never give her up.
“What was your answer?” She asked.
He kept quiet for a while before answering her,
“I didn’t answer, I was given three days to give back my answer or Luther would be dead” he said.
“Then what are we waiting for, take me to him” she made her decision more hastily than he could have thought.
“I can’t give you to him” he replied.
“If you don’t then Luther would be dead, we have to make a choice and if I am the solution then I am ready to give myself” she said but deep down she didn’t want to submit to Alpha Nathan after all he had done to her but when she thought of Luther, she believed she could do it.
Alpha Coast walked closer to her and hugged her tightly, he knew she wasn’t sure of what she saying.
“We will find another way, I cannot give you up” he said.
“But you have to, he might kill Luther” she said looking up to him. Bella didn’t know when tears rolled out of her eyes until Coast wiped them away for her.
“We will find another way, I assure you of that” he said as she cried on his chest. He knew she was hurting because Luther was the only one she considered as family aside from him. He could tell that she loved the kid like he did and it must hurt to not be able save him when he needed them the most.
