An Omega was sent to summon Bella to Alpha Coast’s chambers for the night but she came back with troubling news.
“Alpha, the Luna isn’t waking up”
“What do you mean she isn’t waking up” Alpha Coast panicked,
“She also isn’t breathing Alpha”
Before the omega could finish her sentence, Alpha Coast had taken to his heels towards Bella’s house and straight to her room,
“Bella” he called as he got close to her, he picked up her hand and there was no life in it.
With haste, he took her to the hospital.
“This way Alpha” Doctor Lily ushered him into a ward and he placed Bella on the bed.
“What’s wrong with her?” He asked worried for her, he wished that this was a prank and she was completely fine.
Doctor Lily checked her vitals, she forced her eyes open and her iris was purple.
“She was poisoned” Lily answered preparing an antidote.
“Poisoned!” Alpha Coast was startled and taken a little aback, how could she have been poisoned underneath his care.
“Hmm, this is interesting.
She is poisoned by a rare flower called the reshin flower”
Alpha Coast stormed out of the hospital after hearing what happened to Bella, he went over to her home and found a cup of tea on the table quiet close to her book, inside the cup were some yellow residue in it.
“Omegas” he said, no one had the right to serve Bella except the Omegas, if one of them had done it then he would surely make that person pay.
“Assemble all the Omegas now” he ordered Gamma Lucian through the mind-link as he walked towards the castle.
All the omegas were assembled before him in the kitchen, he accessed everyone of them to see who would give off a feeling of fear making it easier for him to find the culprit.
“Who gave Bella the tea this afternoon?” He asked and they all looked at themselves to find out who it was.
“Who was it?” Alpha Coast yelled impatiently, he had completely lost his temper as his blood boiled up, how dare someone as insignificant as an omega dare to poison his mate.
“We don’t know Alpha” the omega who had informed him about Bella’s condition spoke up.
“Speak for yourself” he fired back at her.
The room became quiet as no one else spoke, they were all scared of him and he could feel it.
He picked up an omega and raised her in the air strangling her,
“I will have each and everyone of you killed if you don’t tell me the truth” Alpha Coast meant every single word he said.
“Where is Meredith?” Gamma Lucian asked noticing that someone was missing among them.
“We haven’t seen her since this afternoon” another omega answered.
“Let me go, I said let me go” Meredith yelled being dragged by two guards back into the castle.
“We found her by the border with her bag aiming to escape” Landon said dragging Meredith forward with the chain he had tied her hands with.
Alpha Coast grabbed her hand scanning through her fingernails and found yellow residue in it similar to the one in Bella’s tea.
Without notice he smashed her body to the wall in anger and allowed her to crash down to the ground.
He grabbed her by the hair and knocked her head against the wall again,
“Why did you poison her?” He asked, the residue in her hand had given away the truth that she was the culprit and she trying to escape only confirmed it more.
“How dare you try to poison her?” His claws slashed her face leaving behind four marks on it.
“I had no other choice” Meredith answered with blood in her mouth.
“What do you mean you had no other choice, did someone order you to do it?” Gamma Lucian believed she didn’t act alone after what she had just said, she could have been compelled to do so but the main question was ‘Why was she asked to poison Bella?’
Meredith kept quiet and refused to answer his question.
“Answer him” Alpha Coast grabbed her neck digging his claws into them.
“I can’t, he will kill me” Meredith replied.
“And I won’t” Alpha Coast questioned,
she was currently at the mercy of him but she was more scared of who sent her when that person could not save her from him.
“Lock her up in the dungeon, I will deal with her later” He ordered passing Meredith to Landon who dragged her body on the floor towards the dungeon.
Knight had informed Alpha Coast to check up on Bella to know if she was fine and recuperating, He was more worried about his mate’s health and could deal with Meredith when he was rest assured that she was okay.
He returned back to the Bella’s ward and found her still sleeping with the doctor seated close to her watching her,
“How is she?” He asked calmly, all his anger had dissipated once he saw her.
“I have taken the poison out of her body, she is fine now.
Have you found the culprit?” Lily asked noticing the blood on his hands, she was certain that it wasn’t his blood.
He nodded his head and took a seat close to Bella, while she excused herself to give them some space.
Bella opened her eyes in a little while and looked around.
“This is not your chambers, where am I?”
She directly asked him.
“You are in the hospital” He looked down at her with a soft gaze.
“What happened?”
“Do you remember the last thing that happened before you closed your eyes?”
“Yes, I was reading a book when a lady brought a tea to me after I drank it, I felt sleepy so I went to bed” she stated everything that happened.
“You were poisoned” he said and she looked at him shocked.
“The tea you drank was poisoned” he added.
“Is that why her hands were shaking” Bella thought to herself, she had seen Meredith acting a little off when she gave her the tea but she didn’t notice anything.
“From now on you will be staying in my chambers, anything coming to you will have to pass through me first” he ordered,
When he saw her laying lifeless earlier he was so scared that he would lose her and now that she was okay, he wouldn’t let her out of his sight again.
“No, I need my own space, I can’t be with you all the time” Bella rejected the idea, she didn’t want to stay with him because she knew how uncomfortable she would be.
“I have said it and that is final, do you know what would have happened to you if I hadn’t summoned you, you would have been dead Bella” he yelled to her face angrily, she was always so stubborn and wouldn’t listen to him.
“Atleast that is better than the life I am living now, you should have just left me for dead” she turned away from him looking out the window.
Alpha Coast felt bad, he wanted to make her pay for what she had just said, how could she think he would leave her to die when he wanted her closer to him.
“You can say whatever you want to say, you are staying with me and that is final” he gave his last words and left her alone to cool his head.

The next morning,
Alpha Coast had Meredith tied up before the castle with three guard close to her.
Landon held a sharp sword in his hand waiting for the signal from Alpha Coast.
The whole pack was gathered before Alpha Coast to watch the execution of Meredith who tried to kill the Luna.
“By 2:00pm yesterday, Meredith poisoned the Luna with a cup of tea she had mixed with reshin flower in, a deadly and poisonous flower harmful to our health.
Today she will face the consequences of her actions.
Meredith, do you have any last words?” Gamma Lucian asked her.
Meredith’s eyes scanned through the crowd and she found a man watching her,
“No” she answered.
Alpha Coast gave the signal by a nod of his head and Meredith’s head was cut off by Landon using his sword.
“This should sound as a warning to anyone who would dare to do something like this ever again” Gamma Lucian warned and the pack members were all dismissed.
“Hang her head just outside the border” Alpha Coast ordered and retreated to the company of his cousin.
Bella stood there in a daze, it was the first time she had seen someone being brutally murdered and it was just for her cause.
“When will he stop killing?” she asked herself.
