The Crescent moon pack welcomed in a visitor, the Alpha of Greyshade pack who came for an annual visit.
“Welcome Alpha Reid, to what do I owe this special visit?” Alpha Nathan joined him in his office.
“No official issue just here to see how you are fairing” Alpha Reid answered, a tall man with blue eyes, brown shoulder length hair, chisel jaw and broad shoulders.
Hava walked next with a cup of coffee for her father when she saw Alpha Reid, she was mesmerized by his looks that she couldn’t stop staring,
“Allow me to introduce my daughter Hava” Alpha Nathan introduced her and she brought forth a cute smile.
Alpha Reid grabbed her hand and kissed it,
“Nice to meet you Hava” he said looking into her eyes with lust and desire,
“You have such a beautiful daughter” he commented and she blushed at his words.
“Hava, could you please excuse us?” Alpha Nathan noticed that his daughter didn’t want to leave while she still kept her gaze on the Alpha in front of him.
“Sure father” She gave Reid one last glance as if capturing his face in her head to never forget it.
“Now that you are here, I will like to discuss with you about an official matter” he stated after Hava left.
“Am all ears” Alpha Reid crossed his leg listening to him.
“You know about the Snowflake pack just beyond our borders, their forces are growing stronger each day and I fear that they might attack us when they are capable.
I am looking forward to attacking them first, but I need more men for back up” He answered.
Each pack sought to grow above one another so that they could rule the other, Alpha Nathan had the fear that the Snowflake pack would try to attack them because they were more closer to them.
“I will send some warriors here first thing tomorrow” Alpha Reid answered with immediate effect making him a competent Alpha before Alpha Nathan’s eyes.
“That would be wonderful” he exclaimed.
They chatted a bit about new packs growing in the East and their alliances until they were all out of topics.
“I will take my leave now” Alpha Reid stood up on his feet ready to go.
“Why don’t I walk you out” Alpha Nathan opened the door when he saw Hava patiently waiting for them.
“Hava, were you eavesdropping?” Alpha Nathan almost got angry at his daughter’s prying behaviour.
“No father” she answered.
“Why don’t I walk Alpha Reid out” Hava suggested and he had no choice than to seat back and let her do what she liked.
Hava walked Alpha Reid striking a conversation with him,
“Would you be visiting us again sometime” Hava asked.
“If there is a reason to come back” he answered walking down the stairs.
“So there has to be reason for you to come back, how about if I invite you over?” She caved into her flirtatious ways trying to sway him in.
“If you invite me then I would make sure to come, I can’t never turn down a beautiful lady” he phrased and Hava grinned in happiness.
‘Could this the Alpha she had yearned for’ her thoughts went crazy thinking of Alpha Reid as her own, he may not be as handsome as Alpha Coast but he still had a lot of features that could make a woman die for him which was what she was doing now.
“I will make sure to invite you over when I am free” she said trying not to sound cheap to him,
His hands held her waist and drew her closer to him.
“Make it sooner I don’t like to be kept waiting” he whispered in her ears, Hava let out a giggle just from his words, he made it so simple to her that he wanted her and she was boiling deep down to let him have her.
Ashton came out of the kitchen with a tray of food when he saw them, he could clearly see her giggling and laughing while having Alpha Reid close to her whispering who knows what to her, he couldn’t contain his anger so he let the tray crash to the ground creating a noise that distracted them.
“My apologies” he stated, their attention was fixed on him but he bent his head down as if he was sorry for what he did, Hava knew he had intentionally done that to distract her and folded her tongue wishing to lash out on him.
“I will be visiting again soon but I hope your invite will come before then” Alpha Reid said.
“I just need to check my schedule but don’t worry, it won’t take long” she answered with a smile as she walked him out, his body was suffocating her making her lick her lips in pleasure just by looking at his build.
“He has a fine ass” She commented,
Ashton cleared his throat standing close to her making her snap out of her wild thoughts.
“What is wrong with you omega?” she yelled at him for such disturbance.
“So now I am an omega, you would refer to me as an omega even though you know that I am your mate” he answered her angry that she would dare to address him that way.
Hava quickly covered his lips and dragged him out to avoid anyone from hearing him.
“What do you want from me?” She asked tired of his constant pestering, she didn’t want to see his face anymore and wanted to act like he didn’t exist but he just kept on bothering her.
“Isn’t it obvious, you are my mate, what else would I want from you other than you” he stated firmly.
“You can never have me and stop saying I am your mate, I had rejected you” she reminded him of the chat she had with him on her birthday.
“And I refused your rejection which means you are still my mate and there is nothing you would do that would change that” he bellowed in a low tone.
“Stop saying that I am your mate before someone hears you” she warned scared that her father might end up finding out the truth, he would be so disappointed that his daughter was mated to an omega and not just any omega but the omega of their pack instead of an Alpha.
“Why, you don’t want others to know that you are my mate, are you that ashamed of me” he sounded hurt by the way she was acting with him.
He felt like he was a plague when all he wanted to do was to get closer to her and love her.
“I can never be your mate” she barked furious.
“Why, do you want to be mated to the Alpha you met earlier, is your dream that he would choose you as his chosen mate?” He asked her.
He had seen how interested she was in Alpha Reid and he was hurt by that,
“Is being an Alpha that important to you?” He asked waiting her answer.
“What do you know, you are just an ordinary omega who thinks he can become an Alpha by being mated to the Alpha’s daughter” She replied forcefully.
“I have told you I don’t care about that, all I want is for you to accept me as your mate, is that too much for me to as of you even when I know you are mine” he stated.
“I am not yours and I will never be yours” she walked away but he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to him.
There were sparks erupting from their body contact,
“Don’t you still feel that?” He asked, the last time he tried to make her see that he was her mate she had claimed she didn’t feel anything, he thought maybe her wolf came late and gave her some time to be able to feel it.
“I feel nothing” she dragged her hand from his and walked away.
Ashton stood there sad and distraught, he wondered why he was given a mate that never wanted him.
