Alpha Nathan didn’t drive away, he stopped a bit far from the border and decided to go back to get his daughter when he was met by three guards who wouldn’t let him pass through.
“I just need to talk to the Alpha” he said furious that such lowly guards would dare to touch him.
“What is going on here?” Ashton suddenly appeared and Alpha Nathan was stunned to see him, he thought he was also a guard so he went to him.
“Ashton, you need to get my daughter out of there” he said in a demanding tone and he smiled.
“Do you think I care about anything related to you” Ashton said rudely and he was baffled. The way he spoke to him was more than how an ordinary guard would speak.
“Gamma Ashton, the Alpha asked for him not to pass through” the guard informed him and Alpha Nathan was shocked, how could a boy who was his omega turn into the gamma of another pack.
“You are the Gamma” he questioned with his hands shaking, he had already spoken to him in such disrespectful manner.
“Then make sure he doesn’t pass through” Ashton said giving him a daring smile before he leaves.
Alpha Nathan immediately grabbed his hand with pity in his eyes,
“Please Ashton, you are my only hope, please save my daughter, please save your mate” he said but Ashton pulled his hand away.
“My mate, I don’t have a mate.
Your daughter is going to suffer her until she can’t bear with it any longer and I won’t do anything to help her.
Do you remember what you said to me, you accused me of trying to be the Alpha of your weak pack, you told me that I could never be her mate.
Your daughter rejected me so she can suffer her cruel fate maybe that will teach her a lesson” he charged at him sending out those cruel words.
“I know I have wronged you but please don’t take it out on her, she is suffering in there and you are the only one who can help her” he pleaded almost going down on his knees. His pack was weak and small compared to Alpha Reid’s pack, starting a war with him was irrelevant because he would lose everything he worked hard for even his life.
“And I choose not to help her” Ashton brushed him off him and walked away, he had so much hatred for him, he was the reason why he left the Crescent moon pack and gave up on his mate Hava. How dare he think he was going to help him after all he had done to him.
Alpha Nathan watched him walk away and he was so sad, he couldn’t do anything to help his daughter now so he drove back shamefully to meet his mate making dinner for him curious to know how her daughter was fairing.
“How is Hava?” Diana asked with a smile on her face, she was eager to know if Hava was living her best life, Alpha Nathan was lost on how to answer her.
Diana read the sad expression on his face picking up something was wrong.
“What happened?” she asked.
He sat weakly on the chair without answering her, he closed his eyes thinking of ways he could help Hava.
“Did anything happen to Hava?” She asked and he nodded his head.
“She is a mistress…” he broke down everything that happened at the Dark moon pack and she was shocked, she fell to the ground disheartened for Hava, what she was going through was not what she expected.
“Bring my daughter back” she held his hand pleading to him, she believed he had the power to bring her back.
“I tried” he answered yet she doubted it.
“I need my daughter”’she cried out to him broken, it pained her so much that her daughter would be suffering that way.
“Do you think I haven’t tried, I did all I could to get her back but this is beyond me. If she leaves the pack then we all die, our whole pack would be destroyed” he informed her of the threats he got from Alpha Reid if he tried something nasty.
“I can’t just stay here knowing my daughter is suffering, you have to find a way Nathan” she demanded but he just walked away closing the door to his office.

Bella stayed at her house until late in the night, Alpha Coast had to come himself to fetch her.
“Let’s go” he ordered but she retracted away from him.
“I don’t want to” she answered.
“Bella, I have had a long day so could please not make it hectic for me” he pleaded,
after having series of meeting with his beta and Gamma he was completely exhausted. He retreated to his chambers thinking she was there but she wasn’t so he had come fetch her.
“You think I don’t know what you are doing, this is not about protection anymore,you just want me close to you all the time” she said and he breathed out.
“Bella we can talk about this tomorrow” he persuaded.
“I can’t go back with you” she insisted.
“You will whether you like it or not” he demanded.
“I cannot go back there and be with the same man who murdered my whole family, do you think I feel happy seeing you all the time, I feel disgusted. And to top it all up I still have to sleep in the same bed with you, do you realize how regretful that is, I had told you that I don’t need your protection rather I need protection from you.
You have turned my life upside making sure that I can never be happy again, what do you gain from trapping me with you” she yelled with all the strength she had.
Alpha Coast touched his greasy forehead, this was a conversation he had wanted to avoid but what can he do.
“I don’t care about what you think, you are going with me” he grabbed her but before he knew it she picked up a knife she had hidden in her book. She kept it close to her neck.
“I am going to kill myself, that way you can never have me. I can be reunited with my parents and wait for karma to get to you for what you had done to them” she phrased.
Alpha Coast watched her with dim eyes,
“Bella stop this” he moved closer.
“If you move one more inch I will kill myself” she warned and he halted.
“I either kill myself or you set me free” she bargained but none of those terms seemed good to him, Coast was lost on what to say. He couldn’t tell her to leave because he wanted her, he needed her in his life also he couldn’t let her kill herself because he would be devastated.
He moved one inch closer and quickly grabbed her hand, he took the knife from her grasp and threw it to the floor, he pinned her to the wall breathing heavily.
“Don’t you ever do that again” he warned frightened by what could have been the outcome if he hadn’t intervened, would she have killed herself?.
“I will do it all over again” she went ahead to pick up the knife when he grabbed both her hands raising them up and pining her to the wall again. Their breathing were now in sync as they stared deeply at each other, Coast’s heart melted just by looking at her and he leaned down to kiss her, he crashed his lips on hers and kissed her deeply, Bella didn’t pull back and went along with the kiss, her mind had gone blank and she was mesmerized by his eyes.
He picked her up in his arms lengthening the kiss with her hands around his neck, their tongues dangled together and he wanted to go further but he stopped himself.
He abruptly paused and looked at her once again dead in the eyes while she stared at him confused, he had so much affection for her but yet she couldn’t see it.
He gently kept her down and touched her face smiling,
“You can leave tomorrow morning, I won’t stop you” he answered and left.
Alpha Coast took heavy steps towards his chambers, his heart was breaking so much that she would be leaving him but he wouldn’t tie her down to him when she couldn’t open her heart to forgive him or love him. He just had to let her go, maybe she could find peace wherever she went. That was the sacrifice he was willing to make for her even though it pained him so much.
