Hava woke up in the hospital the next morning, she looked around and found Ashton standing close to her.
"You're awake" he exclaimed with a smile on his face.
"Did I pass out?" She asked him and he nodded his head, Hava immediately became sad, they were so close to leaving the pack just as she wanted but she ruined all that plans by fainting just at the dying moment.
"I am so stupid" she reprimanded herself, she wished she could hit her head on the wall for such act. All she had dreamed of in a while was how she would leave and begin a new life with Ashton, a life where she could be free and love him as her mate.
They could start a family together with their child as the center of attraction, Hava had such big dreams but she had ruined them all by herself.
"This is all my fault" she blurted out.
"No it's not, you shouldn't blame yourself for your body reacting, you had blood dripping out of your legs" He informed her and she widen her eyes in shock. Hava thought she had fainted due to too much stress, she didn't know that it was that serous.
She immediately touched her stomach I fear,
"Did anything happen to our child" she asked him shaken by the thought of losing child, Hava could remember how Bella had lost her baby and she wished Karma hadn't caught up to her and made her lose hers too.
"No the child is fine, the doctor said you had stressed your body to much.
I guess everything happening to Lily is affecting you in a negative way because you are in the same condition as she is and you are now sensitive towards her pain,
I just wish it wasn't at that moment you fainted but I am glad that you are fine"
He stated with a calm demeanor, he didn't want to know that he was unhappy about what happened. Ashton spent nights to get his place together and when the perfect moment came, he sought to steal that moment but grew quite unlocking with her incident.
"I am so sorry, I know how hard you worked for us to get out of here" she apologized feeling terribly sad for what she had caused.
"It's alright, we can reschedule to leave another time, for now the health of you and my child is most important" he reasoned with her understanding that what happened wasn't her fault.
"Alpha Reid" she whispered to him.
"He is in the doctor's office, I will check up on him again" he said but she grabbed his hand.
"What if he finds out the truth that I am pregnant" she panicked once again and he thought slightly about it.
"I had told the doctor not to tell him about it" he said.
"Are you sure she won't tell him?" She asking doubting of such news found her hidden from the Alpha.
"Yes, you have to promise me that you won't tell him anything about the child. He would visit you when he is done so don't try to act scared or make him detect something off" he instructed her and she nodded her head.
She would rather stick to his plans than have Alpha Reid find out that she was pregnant.
At the doctors office,
Alpha Reid sat down listening to the doctor speak gibberish that didn't matter to him.
"Is she okay or not?" He asked despite her still talking.
"Yes Alpha" the doctor answered, she swallowed the next set of words she wanted to say to him.
"And is her womb still intact?" He asked and she was surprised by why he would ask such a question. At the moment she wanted to really explain what happened to Hava but because the Gamma had begged her not to so she sealed her lips shut.
"Yes Alpha" she nodded her head in response.
"I know she was trying to abort my child" he blurted out to her and she twisted her lips and raised her eyebrows, he had completely misunderstood the whole situation but with the way he was going she was sure that he might figure out the truth in no time.
"Not really" she objected.
"Was her plan successful?" He kept asking such straight forward answers that the doctor couldn't tell what was in his mind.
He kept his eyes on her watching her every reaction, Alpha Reid knew Hava quite well and he knew that she despised him for wrecking her life and forcing himself on her.
It would be a bummer if she didn't try to get an abortion.
"Yes" she said circling her hands on the table and he noticed it, he could tell she was lying because he knew her for a while now.
"If you lie to me one more time I will break your neck and spill your blood all over this office" he strictly warned her with a dark aura coming off him.
The doctor was shaken by his threats, she had tried to cover up the truth because Gamma Ashton had asked her to but now that she was caught by the Alpha, there wasn't much to lie about.
"No" she bent her head down in shame.
"So my child is alive" he asked and she nodded her head.
In the next second, he stormed out of the office and straight towards Hava's ward.
He opened the door and found her resting, Hava thought it was Ashton because he said he was going to get her a few snack but she was shocked when she saw Alpha Reid staring at her angrily.
He walked towards her and she tried to run away from him but she had no where to run to.
"You dare try to kill my child" he yelled grabbing her hair and pulling it backwards.
"What are you talking about Alpha, what child?" She asked, Hava was frightened to the core about what he might do to her. She didn't want to tell him the truth incase he was just guessing it but he looked too furious to actually make an assumption.
"You got pregnant with my child and tried to kill the child. Do you think you have such rights to abort my child" he yelled at her furious.
He hated the fact that she would dare to do such a thing to him, the child was his and he had the right to know about his child's existence or not but she decided to get rid of the child without his knowledge.
"Alpha you are hurting me" Hava groaned in pain, she could feel her head almost being ripped out and she couldn't handle it at all, the pain was too much for her to bear.
"This is not enough for what you had tried to do to my child, did you think you could have your way just like that. Did you think you could get rid of the child and I won't notice" he stated with her hair still in his hands.
"Alpha I don't know what you are talking about" Hava still tried to act dumb to him.
"Are you going to deny it to my face that you Aren't pregnant" he asked and she looked at him in shock.
"Answer me" he yelled in his Alpha tone.
"It's true" she answered compelled by him.
"Is the child mine" he asked letting go of her hair as he stood boldly in front of her. Hava saw the situation she was in as a life and death situation, she couldn't tell him that the child belonged to his Gamma thereby putting but him and her in danger. She didn't want to go through what Lily was going through because she knew that was the life waiting for her.
She would have to watch Ashton get executed before her which would devastate her then she would be locked up in the cells for weeks. Hava didn't want to experience that.
"Do you want me to force you to talk" he asked furious with the waste of time.
"It is your child Alpha" she said.
Alpha Reid nodded his head in confirmation, after the tricks played on him by Lily, he couldn't risk being happy over such news in an instant, he needed clarification first.
"Good,
But if I find out that you are lying to me then I will kill both you and the child" he warned her and stormed out.
Ashton was returning with a few snacks in his hands for Hava when he found the doctor taking deep breaths standing outside her office door.
Once she saw him she rushed to him,
"He knows" she blurted out with each breath, she was so scared of Alpha Reid that she almost couldn't breath after his threat.
"What are talking about,
Who knows" he asked confused by her reaction, he was slowing beginning to get goosebumps as he panicked.
"The Alpha knows" she blurted out to him and he was still confused by her.
"The Alpha know that she is pregnant" she clarified and Ashton instantly dropped the snacks in his hands and ran towards Hava's ward.
He found her curled up on the bed with her head between her legs, she was shaking and he could hear her cries. He touched her head and she shifted back scared but when she knew he was the one, she literally soaked her face in more tears.
"What happened?" He asked her.
"The Alpha just left, he found out the truth and threatened me about it, I couldn't tell him the truth because he looked so mad, I could see death in his eyes" she cried to him and she rested on his body.
"He asked if the child was his and I told him yes, I was so scared Ashton.
Please forgive me" she pleaded with him.
Ashton wiped her tears,
"It's not your fault, I should have been here to protect you.
I know you were scared of him and that was why you didn't tell him the truth, I am not mad about it, I am mad at myself for not covering the truth up much better in a way that he could never find out.
Forgive me Hava for getting you into this, forgive me for getting you pregnant in the first place and putting so much fear in you" he said with all sincerity, he blamed himself for what was happening to her and why she had to lie to the Alpha about their child, if he had just restrained himself then he wouldn't be in such predicament.
"We will find a way right, we will still get out of here before things get out of hand" she asked him.
Hava knew they were bound to get caught because the truth wouldn't stay hidden forever.
"Yes, I will get us out of here, I promise you that" he vowed as he allowed her to soak his shirt with her tears. He felt pained for her and also himself.
