That same day, Mia decided to go to Pegasus for her first day of work. After what happened between her and Erik yesterday at his house which happened again at her house last night. It seems like she doesn't have the courage to show up to him again. Add to that the fact that there is a good chance that he is mad at her.
Well, what he was asking from her is not simple. Yes, and she has feelings for him, because like she said, her love for the young man was never gone from her heart and remained there for a long time.
And now that they've met again and something else has happened between the two of them, she knows where all of this is going.
She said earlier that she didn't want Bernie to be angrier with her because she was sure that Erik would feel her former partner’s anger when he found out about them. And that's what she doesn't want to happen. She didn't want Erik to get involved with her problem.
"Are you okay already? Well, I'm happy and you're here again," it was Rosanna, the owner of the club Pegasus that has been very popular in their area.
"Thank you for welcoming me here again," she said facing the woman and then giving her a tight hug.
It only took a few moments for Rosanna to release herself from her tight embrace. After that, she fixed her hair which slightly covered her face, and smiled.
"You are no different from me, Mia. Dahlia and I love you. That means you can count on us not to abandon you especially now that you are here, this village is your home," she said to her.
A beautiful smile broke Mia's lips because of what the woman said. She was very grateful to Rosanna and Dahlia. Because even before like she said, they never left her and she truly felt their love for her.

JUST LIKE what they agreed about when she first went there, she will be a waitress again. And just like before, it's up to her if she agrees to be tabled by customers.
Being tabled by a customer will give her more income. But Mia still won't do that. Her salary is enough for her so that's okay. She doesn't have to let her body be used by many different men to earn money.
"Mia, this is for table five," said a waitress who was with her.
She informed her that she was only going to the comfort room, so she asked her to be the one to bring that order to the table she mentioned.
Mia nodded and then took the tray. At table five, Mia saw the man sitting there alone and was very drunk as he gulped down the bottle of beer he was holding.
"Oh, Miss, you look beautiful," he said, his tongue twisting from extreme drunkenness.
Mia just nodded and tried to smile at the fat man who she thought was in his late fifties. "If there's anything else you need, just ask," she politely said before turning her back on the man.
But she was stopped from turning away then was surprised when she felt the man hold her hand tightly and then he spoke.
"You, I want you. Sit here and join me," his tone still hasn’t changed.
"B-But I'm a waitress here, sir, I’m sorry I cannot give what you are asking," she said trying to take her hand back from the man but he was grabbing it tightly which made it difficult for her to stay away from him.
"What are you talking about? I'm a customer here, right? Just do what I said!"
He insisted and pulled her. He was about to kiss her, but she quickly slapped him. By doing so Mia was able to free herself from the man.
"Pervert! I said no!" she said furiously and was about to turn her back from the customer but he grabbed her arm again and turned her to face him.
His hand moved and he was about to hit her. Mia got scared and closed her eyes. She just waited for his hand to land on her face but that didn't happen and instead, something else came in that surprised her.
"Erik!" she said in shock when she saw Erik who did not just pull away but also hit her harasser who eventually fell to the floor.
When her harasser was about to get on his feet, he was approached by the two club bouncers and sent home.
"Are you okay?" asked the young man who worriedly approached and hugged her.
With so much fear and worry, Mia hugged the young man tightly. "I’m sorry, you almost got hurt," she said.
"What are you doing here? Is this the job you were telling me?” the young man asked when he released her.
That was when Mia nodded shyly.
Erik stared at her for a long time. Then his lips twitched again, and he spoke.
"Come on, I want to talk to your manager or better yet the owner of this club," he said in a tone full of determination.
"What? There is no need for that. By the way, why do you want to talk to her?"
She suddenly felt nervous when Erik said that.
But despite that, Mia still couldn't stop frowning at what the young man wanted to do.
He heard the young man clicks his tongue. "You will know later," he said.
From the tone of Erik's speech, she knew there was nothing she could do to change his mind, so she decided to just give what the man asked for. She accompanied him to Rosanna's office.

"What happened?" she asked the young man when he left the office.
"Come inside, she said she wants to talk to you," Erik answered her instead.
Mia just looked up at Erik's handsome face, and after that, she just followed what he said.
"What?" she said in disbelief and turned to the door where Erik entered again.
"That's what he wants and I don't see anything wrong," Rosanna replied.
"But Rosanna, I need a job," she insisted.
"I'll pay you if that's what you're worried about," Erik replied.
"But, it's not right for you to do that, Erik," she insisted in a protesting tone.
That's when the corner of the young man's mouth lifted while stared at her. "I've already paid you, you're mine for a month," was what Erik replied to her instead and then winked.
Mia didn't know what was within Erik’s words so her face turned red as she looked up at him. But deep inside, she knows, and she can't deny that she is thrilled because she feels the young man's concern for her.
