Klaus
“Does it hurt, my Alpha?” She smirked, choking my breath with her grip on my neck. I didn’t expect her to be that good at fighting but again, she was a Gamma so she must be.
“I want my mate at any cost, you ass-ole,” Todd reprimanded me, glaring at me as if it was me who was keeping him away from our mate. Though I was unable to breathe, he was enjoying our mate’s touch and the way she squatted on my body, it did nothing but aroused me and excited Todd.
“The nasty wolf,” rolling my eyes at him, I provoked him. “You should be helping me to nudge her off my body or she might kill us and if I get killed, you also won’t be alive to get her love.”
Todd hopped, swishing his tail in the back of my mind where only I could see him and he could see me. “I won’t help you. She won’t kill you if you accept defeat,” he smirked and blocked me.
“Wow. You motherfu-ker.” I cussed him.
Scarlett got my attention back as she tightened her grip on my windpipe and I raised my hands simply in defeat which caused her smirk to widen and she clapped her hands before lifting herself from my body.
Coughing for a good minute, I got up from the ground and found her hugging Marcus.
“You nailed it, Letty,” he enunciated, caressing her hair and I couldn’t help but feel like shredding his hands.
“Are you alright, my Alpha?” Chloe ushered the bottle of water in my face which I snatched from her hand, grimacing at her, furiously. These girls always make my hackles rise, if it wouldn’t have been the position of the Alpha, I would have killed them. Unfortunately, I couldn't kill my pack members.
No one should hit on their Alpha, should they?
And here these crazy girls didn’t get the hint that I wasn’t interested in them.
“Here,” Avalon offered me a towel but my death glare made her jump in panic and she scurried away. I caught Scarlett staring at me and the other girls who surrounded me with her narrowed eyes. Her annoyance helped me to clutch the idea to get my mate jealous.
Taking my vest off, I barrelled the bottle on my head and swiveled my head so the water dripped down my hair and chest. The girls' gasps were so audible that I felt like frowning but Scarlett’s dropped face brought a victorious grin to my face.
“Can I have a towel now, Ava?” I deliberately averted my gaze from my mate and gave attention to Avalon who was blushing so hard in front of me. If I didn’t have a task to make someone jealous, I would have burst out laughing.
Being an Alpha, I could hear literally ten times better than the other werewolves. I heard Marcus and Scarlett talking about the girls swooning over me and cajoling me though I wasn’t Alpha yet. She was clearly jealous and Todd scowled and growled at me.
That’s so cool. My wolf loved my mate more than me, she technically took my wolf and cuz away from me.
“Alright. Everyone get back to the training and pair up with your partner. Your Beta, Marcus, and I will be around to guide and help each of you,” she announced, getting back on her mattress and everyone obeyed her decision.
“And I’ll help you, girls,” I said, looking at Scarlett whose face was red and a frown was plastered on her face since I started chatting with the girls.
“Your Alpha sucks,” she complained to Greg, “he should be helping everyone, not just flirting with the girls. If I can beat your Alpha that means your Alpha needs the training, too.”
Peering at Marcus, I found him snickering and agreeing with Scarlett. “Cuz, you need the training the most. Our Alpha should be the strongest, after all, the whole pack is dependent on our Alpha to protect us.” He shrugged, making a serious face.
“You should be telling her that I let her win. You know, she can’t win against me,” I mind-linked with my cousin.
“I guess she should know it by our Alpha only and you better get your ass kicked in the training. Our trainer is pissed off and she might take her revenge,” he warned me via mind-link.
Greg hesitated to call me for the training as I was their Alpha and he was my future Beta so I made it easy for him by walking to her by myself without getting called.
“Your niece seems quite interesting, Greg,” I smirked. “Seems like she’s obsessed with me and wants to train me personally.”
Scarlett started laughing out loudly, placing her hand on her stomach. “Oh, Goddess. You’re good at joking,” she mocked, standing straight and walking away from me. “Trust me, I’ve seen better.”
“Woah.” Marcus and Greg exclaimed in unison as she finished and walked away.
Shooting a death glare at them, I followed her and caught her wrist in my hand but she pulled a stunt and knocked me down on the floor. Now, she was being too much. Lifting her in the air by laying my hand on her waist, I threw her over my shoulder and she kept punching my back.
“Put me down,” she shouted, beating the scrap out of my shoulder. Ignoring her screaming and punches, I walked to the middle of the ground, making sure that everyone would see that and all the pack members were already frighteningly gaping at us.
“We’ll teach you a new tactic of how to fight with a feisty and petite werewolf,” I announced in my Alpha voice. My pride got hurt by her words and actions, she was the first who made me jealous by hugging Marcus and then, questioning my powers to protect my people.
She had seen better, right?
I’ll make sure that she would forget whatever she had seen in the past and only remember me for her entire life and will call me the best.
“Alright,” she said, stopping her struggle with releasing from my hold. “I’ll teach you how to fight with a big bad Alpha who tries to manhandle you.” She offered a tight-lipped smile to everyone and then looked at me with disdain. “You’re going to regret this.”
“We’ll see,” I retorted, tightening my grip on her hips and she flinched under my touch. I bet her body wanted something different than her mind. Scarlett swallowed a lump, staring at my lips and I had to fight the urge to take her right there and right then.
She smirked before biting on my shoulder, she circled her left hand around my neck gently, and I felt electricity run in my body. The next moment, she grasped my neck and launched herself on my back.
Before I could even attempt to remove her hold, she kicked me with all her strength and leaped in the air before rolling to the ground. I tasted the dirt on the ground and from the corner of my eyes, I saw her standing up with a victorious smirk on her face.
“You’re so fast,” I remarked, getting up as the ground echoed with everyone’s applause.
“And you’re not, that’s where you lack, Klaus,” she sneered, pointing out my weak point.
I lost again, my pride and ego were hurt as I was the Alpha and no one was supposed to win against an Alpha so I didn’t like her smirking at me in front of my people. I couldn’t blame her for distracting me with her touch as I loved it but she used it as a trick which hurt me somehow.
My ego wanted me to leave the ground and never fight with her again but my love for her wanted me to celebrate her victory as my mate won and I should be proud of her because she was the strongest werewolf I had ever come across and she was my mate. Mine.
