And then she was spent.
Kendra’s eyes fluttered close and she sunk into the bathtub to shield her body from her friend’s watchful gaze, horror seeping into her veins as she struggled to comprehend what had just happened and the implications it was going to have on their lives and their relationship.
The female-Beta took a deep breath and stepped out of the tub, pretending not to care that the Alpha could see her… all of her. It was the only thing she could think of to grasp onto the remaining thin ropes that were holding their relationship together.
She brushed past him nonchalantly and reached for her robe to cover her nakedness, and then turned to him when she was fully dressed. “What are you doing here?”
Killian just didn’t understand.
How was she so cool and unconcerned about what had just happened? He was literally struggling to come to terms with it…
And he had a bloody barrage of questions too, one of them most prominent;
How in the hell was he sporting an erection, when he had been proclaimed impotent his entire life?
Women had touched him, played with him… seen him as some kind of cursed being that they could finally set free, but none of them had been able to do what she had just done.
And she hadn’t even touched him.
It honestly unnerved the Alpha so much, so much that he still couldn’t answer her question.
“Killian? I’m talking to you…”
“What was that?” He finally cleared his head enough to ask.
Kendra raised an eyebrow, “What was what?”
“That.” He repeated. “Y-you were in there, you were touching yourself, calling out my name—”
“You weren’t supposed to see that!” She exploded, cutting him off. “You should have knocked! Or what, you think being Alpha just gives you the right to barge into anyone’s room as you please?”
“Now don’t you dare turn this on me, Ken…” He growled, just as angry as she was… perhaps even more. “You’re the one who left your door unlocked. Do you know how many times I knocked? I didn’t even think the lock would turn when I touched it. Anyone… literally anyone could have barged in on you.”
“Alright, enough! What do you want? What were you doing here anyway?” Kendra got right into it. “I thought you were back to ignoring me, treating me like I’m practically non-existent at meetings when you know just how much I’ve worked to get to that position.” She threw at him, her voice breaking slightly in the end.
Killian winced.
“I-I’m honestly so sorry, Ken… I just don’t know what came over me.” He said.
Kendra shot him a sad smile. “Are you really?” Taking a deep breath, she whispered, her voice so soft that he almost missed it. “Please, leave.”
“Ken—”
“Get out, Killian… I can’t do this now.”
Killian stared at her for what seemed like ages. He had so much he wanted to say to counter that, but he thought better of it and nodded. “I just wanted to let you know that the Moon goddess is going to help me get rid of the curse.” He didn’t look up to see her reaction, he just turned and walked out.
And then he was gone.
Kendra took a very deep breath.
It was suddenly as though the weight of the world had been lifted off her shoulders.
But oh gods, what had she done?
If their relationship was ruined, it was going to be all her fault for making things weird between them.
Why in the fuck hadn’t she locked the door?
She really thought she had.
Kendra had been tired from a very busy day.
After Killian had humiliated her so, Tyrone had gone in search of her to check how she was doing, and he had been so surprised to see her looking so defeated.
He had tried to get her mind off everything by challenging her to a sparring contest, and honestly speaking, it had worked.
The first thing she had wanted to do when she finally made it to her chambers was take a cold, long soothing bath, but that had quickly turned into something else as you saw.
In truth, Kendra didn’t really know how to feel about the whole situation. Her good side felt mortified at what had transpired between them, but boy, oh boy… her bad side was really having a field day.
Never had she had an orgasm that intense… that nerve wracking— t-that earth shattering!
The funny part, he hadn’t even touched her.
If Kendra had been scared that a kiss would ruin their relationship, she feared to fathom what this was going to do. In fact, she wasn’t going to think about it, she concluded without doubt.
That night, she crawled into bed, willing her thoughts not to stray onto forbidden memories, but she failed, her mind replaying one particular part over and over again.
He had sported an erection!
There had been no mistaking it, but how was that possible?
It had been said that he was impotent, hell… he had told her himself, and she might have confirmed it on the two other occasions that they had gotten a little too cozy.
So, what had changed now?
Thankfully, sleep wrapped its comforting arms around her, offering her that sweet redemption and shielding her consciousness from her incessant thoughts.
****
Morn dawned bright and early with Killian still in his study.
He had gone to his chambers after his encounter with Kendra, but try as he did, he couldn’t get some sleep, and he knew he wasn’t going to… and so he had just gone to his study instead.
But even in the study, he still hadn’t been able to concentrate. All he had to do was picture Kendra doing what she did last night, and then his erection was back with a vengeance.
So yes, apparently even thoughts of his Beta were enough to make him hard.
Honestly speaking, he had tried to hold on for as long as he could, not feeling comfortable jerking off to something he shouldn’t have seen in the first place… but he had given in once, thinking it would give him some relief,
But it just made him even tenser.
He had shifted into his wolf form, and had gone on a run… that had cooled him down somewhat, but he still had a lot of questions.
Killian was still stuck trying to process all of it when the loud knock sounded at the door, the least person he expected to see barging in.
A growl slipped past his lips as his wolf fought him for control. “Tyrone, what the fuck are you doing here?”
The blonde-haired Alpha had the audacity to smirk, “Well, what do you think? I’m here to pay my best friend a visit.”
“We’re not friends, to even talk about being best friends.” Killian snarled. But Tyrone brushed his words off with a wave of his hand. “It’s all in the semantics, brother… you say potato, I say potahto.”
“What do you really want, Tyrone?” Killian had had enough. It already unnerved enough as is to see the brute spending so much time with his Beta.
He stared the annoying Alpha down as he took his time to leisurely approach a chair and take a seat. “You know why I’m here, Killian.” All traces of humor had disappeared from his face, he looked serious.
“Well, I’m neither a seer nor an oracle to see the future, so if you aren’t going to tell me why you’re here, you may as well get out.”
Tyrone nodded. “Very well, I’m here because of Kendra—”
The growl slipped past Killian’s lips before he could even stop it, “Don’t mention her name!”
The blonde Alpha’s eyes widened in surprise at the growl, but then he covered it up by chuckling in amusement. “Woah, down boy.” He ignored the look of contempt on his nemesis’s face, choosing instead to point out an observation. “But on a real, Killian… haven’t you realised it? Your possessiveness of Kendra has gotten worse lately, what’s going on?”
Like hell if he knew.
But that was the beauty of he and Tyrone’s friend— uhm relationship. To call them friends was taking things a bit too far. They claimed they hated each other so much, and yet, they someway somehow always had each other’s backs… and yet, one was always the first to call the other person out when he was being stupid.
“I-I have no idea, man…” Killian confessed, “I don’t really know what’s happening, and now I think she may have broken the curse or at least the impotent part of it.”
Tyrone frowned. “What does that mean?”
“It means I have erections now, and ejaculations… looks like everything is working just fine in that department.”
“Gods! But that’s good news,” Tyrone boomed, “How did it happen? You guys finally did the nasty?”
“That’s none of your business.” There was that growl again, making the Riverdale pack Alpha raise his hands in surrender. “Forget I asked anything then, jeez. But honestly speaking, Killian, the way you treated her yesterday wasn’t cool at all, and I know you know it. I would have confronted you immediately, but that would have definitely ended in a battle of death.”
“I know. I feel so bad about it, I honestly don’t know what came over me, and she won’t talk to me.” Killian admitted, that feeling of hurt making its way into his chest again.
“I spoke to her after the meeting. For real, man… I have never seen her look that devastated. You really hurt her feelings this time.”
“You saw her after the meeting?” Killian asked, seeking confirmation.
“Yeah. We spent the rest of the day together.”
Rather than growl, this time the Silvercrest Alpha grinned.
So she spends the whole day with him, and comes back to touch herself to thoughts of me.
The realization made him warm all over, but Killian still felt the need to ask. “Tyrone, tell me the truth… are you courting my Beta?”
“No.” Came the answer, “But I would really like to if she would give me the chance—”
“Stay away from her.” The order was clear, so much Alpha power behind it, but Killian was forgetting that his nemesis was an Alpha as well, and that no matter how commanding he was, it wasn’t going to work.
That he was never going to be really scared of him.
“I will only stay away from her if she tells me to, Killian.” Tyrone admitted point blank, “But you want to know what I think?”
“I don’t care what you think, Tyrone.”
“Well, you’re going to hear it anyway. I think you’re in love with your Beta.”
