The black bird wolves rogues quietly divided themselves into two groups, half of them transformed into wolves and stealthily made their way around the Moon Chaser Pack's hideout. Their plan was to spread their scent around the area to draw out the members of the rival pack, while the other half would sneak into the mansion and place the corpses of Sophia's parents inside.
As the black bird wolves rogues began to spread their scent, the Moon Chaser Pack members quickly picked up on the unfamiliar smell and turned into wolves to investigate. Unbeknownst to them, some of the black bird wolves were still in human form and had positioned themselves in a car nearby, observing the pack's movements with a microscope.
Without any warning, the Moon Chaser Pack members charged out of their mansion, ready to attack their enemies. Meanwhile, the black bird wolves in human form quickly made their way into the mansion and placed the corpses inside, carefully hiding them so that they wouldn't be discovered.
Before they left the mansion, they sprayed the corpses with chemicals to eliminate any lingering scent that could lead back to them. They quickly got into their car and drove away, signaling to the other half of the black bird wolves that it was time to leave.
The remaining black bird wolves who were in wolf form quickly made their way out of the woods before the Moon Chaser Pack could catch up to them. They regrouped at their hideout, feeling relieved that their mission had been accomplished without any major setbacks.
**************
As soon as Miranda and I arrived at the address, we realized that it was Derick's mansion. The place looked familiar, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. We started walking towards the mansion, and I whispered to Miranda, "This is Derick's mansion, what is the meaning of this?" Suddenly, we were surrounded by the moon chaser pack, all of them wearing black dresses. Miranda quickly dropped to her knees, and I followed her lead.
One of them approached us and asked, "Why are you here?" I recognized Lucas among them, and he seemed to recognize me too. He sneered, "You again? Did you come here to get information for your sugar boy Alpha?" He moved to attack me, but the lady in their midst stopped him and suggested that they call their Alpha first.
After making the call, they took Miranda and me inside the mansion and tied our hands together. We were left waiting for Derick to arrive. A few minutes later, he showed up, looking surprised to see us there. It was also the first time I saw Miranda and Derick come face to face.
Derick frowned and asked, "Why did you come here?" Without saying a word, I pulled out the address I had received from my pocket and handed it to him. Derick snatched it from my hand and read it. He asked, "What is the meaning of this?"
"I don't know," I replied. "Someone sent it to me."
Derick turned to Miranda, but the question is for me, as he asked, "What did the person want you to find out?"
Miranda smirked and said, "Maybe that thing behind you!" Everyone turned to look at what she was pointing to. Under the stairs were two large, wrapped black nylon bags. They looked like they contained corpses.
Derick ordered his men to open the bags, and when they did, we saw that it was indeed my parents. My heart sank at the sight of their lifeless bodies.
And I knelt down next to the wrapped corpses, tears streaming down my face, Derick's rage turned towards Miranda. He grabbed her by the throat and demanded to know how she knew about the corpses and how they ended up in his mansion.
Miranda protested her innocence, claiming that she had no idea how the corpses got there or what was going on. Derick accused her of playing dumb and claimed that he knew she was a member of the Black Bird Wolves pack.
"No, I'm not!" Miranda cried out. "I swear to you, Derick, I have nothing to do with this!"
Derick asked about her connection to the coffee shop owner, but Miranda claimed that she had only worked there briefly and didn't know anything about this situation.
I couldn't stand to see Derick accusing Miranda like this, so I interrupted and slapped him across the face. I promised him that he would pay for killing my parents and for deceiving me.
Lucas was ready to attack me, but Derick stopped him and seemed surprised that I was defending Miranda. He urged me to stop, insisting that it was obvious she was behind all of this.
But then Derick turned to his followers and demanded to know how the corpses ended up in his mansion. They all looked at each other, shaking their heads and claiming they had no idea.
Derick tried to calm everyone down, assuring us that there were CCTV cameras in the mansion that might shed some light on what had happened.
As we waited for the footage to be reviewed, the tension in the room was palpable. I couldn't believe that Miranda might have been involved in something so sinister, but I knew that I had to keep my wits about me if I wanted to uncover the truth.
As they reviewed the recordings, we watched anxiously. Finally, they found something. A group of people, using masks had driven up to the mansion in a van and carried the bodies inside.
"They're the Black Bird Wolves pack, look at the logo on their van." Miranda said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Derick was furious, and he immediately called for his men to take action. He ordered them to find and capture every member of the Black Bird Wolves Pack responsible for this heinous crime. As for Miranda, he wasn't sure what to do with her yet. But he made it clear that she was not to leave his sight until he figured out what was really going on.
