At the fifth second, Weeby immediately frowned, the corners of her eyes narrowed further, and then the corners of her lips lifted up slightly until a sardonic smile was clearly printed.
Could Weeby laugh now? If she could, Weeby would do just that. Strange—one word that represented her entire sentence was embedded in Weeby's mind. Yes, Resti was very strange if she was thinking that way.
Why would Weeby approach Marcell? To exist and be famous because Marcell is famous throughout the school? Wow, Weeby almost threw up thinking about it, even without Marcell, she was already famous through her beautiful face.
Weeby wanted to let out her thoughts, she wanted to laugh out loud at the excited words that came out of Resti's mouth. But strangely enough, how could that girl have such illogical thoughts? Weeby had never even approached Marcell, it was the boy who always approached and scarred her with his annoying behavior.
Weeby chuckled briefly, casting a glance around before finally looking intently at Resti again. However, just two seconds later, Weeby was back to square one.
"Resti, can I laugh?" The intonation of Weeby's voice sounded sardonic, to the point that vertical lines formed on Resti's forehead.
Weeby didn't have to wait for an answer from Resti, but she started to continue her sentence, "I don't feel like I'm close to your boyfriend, isn't it the other way around? Marcell is the one who approached me."
Weeby then raised one eyebrow, eager to refute the words that came out of Resti's snide mouth.
"I'm the one who should be laughing, you're the odd one out. From this moment on, you're not going to bother my boyfriend anymore, okay?" Resti was so excited that she deliberately emphasized her last sentence, saying it firmly so that Weeby would understand.
"Even without being told, I won't bother your boyfriend, you should advise Marcell not to bother me anymore."
Resti shook her head quickly, "You have to stay away from my boyfriend, this is Weeby's last warning, if you don't follow my orders, I'll make sure you don't get home safely." Resti smiled lightly, being threatened like that didn't work at all, and Weeby wasn't afraid of that. According to Weeby, she doesn't need to be afraid of the threat, her position here is not wrong.
"Staying away from Marcell? Oh, I gladly accept the task from the princess!" Weeby said as firmly as she could, especially when mentioning the last two words, she deliberately suppressed all her energy to say those words, as well as the glare she kept on raising.
"Okay, I'll keep your promise." Resti folds her arms in annoyance, a happy smile playing across her pink lips.
"So, now I can go, right?"
"Well, no one expects you to be here," she said curtly, while Weeby only responded with a bitter lip movement as she shook her head repeatedly.
Five steps away from Resti's presence, Weeby was suddenly surprised by Resti's next words, her breath was held in her nostrils for a moment, then Weeby turned around and walked with long strides towards Resti.
"Eh, what are you doing here again? Go away!" snapped Resti once again because Weeby suddenly reappeared in front of her.
"What were you talking about?" Weeby's thick eyebrows almost drew together, she wanted to make sure that she hadn't heard wrong.
Snorting, Resti rolled her eyeballs as lazily as she could, then stuck her eyes back into Weeby's eyes.
"I told you to leave. Not clear enough, huh?"
"Not that one, you said that before," Weeby quickly retorted. There was no way Resti could not remember in such close proximity.
She thinks for a moment, then, in the next second, she remembers and understands, and she smiles lightly.
"Well, it's true, isn't it? How does a girl like you fit in with Marcell?"
It wasn't a matter of whether or not they were compatible, Weeby's mind wasn't on that at all. One thing that annoyed and frustrated her was that Weeby didn't like Resti's outlandish words, as if Resti herself hadn't looked in the mirror when she said them so bluntly.
Weeby knew that she was not suitable to be with Marcell or even be that boy's girlfriend, their thoughts were not in harmony, always clashing in a small quarrel. But why did Resti say that? Was she even compatible with Marcell?
Totally disagreeing, Weeby contradicted Resti's statement. Resti was not even compatible with Marcell. They could have been a couple that sounded cute and compatible, but Weeby doubted that because she already knew that there was a stain on Resti.
Resti was even more inappropriate to be Marcell's girlfriend because she was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child. What was his name back then? Ah, Weeby remembered. Gama was the name of Resti's ex, who had gotten her pregnant. Doesn't that sound really disgusting?
Weeby smiled blandly and said, "I'm not compatible with him."
"It's good to realize that Marcell is compatible with..."
"But you're even more incompatible!" Resti's words stopped at the tip of her tongue, as Weeby interrupted her with louder words.
Resti growled, her hands now clenched into fists, Weeby had made her emotions boil over.
From the look in her eyes, Weeby also saw Resti's anger.
"You dare say that to me?"
"Why would I be afraid?" Weeby replied lightly. Really, she was sick of this girl in front of her. Weeby took one step forward, leaning her face in front of Resti's, and suddenly Resti was silent, clenching her jaw.
"You're really making me—"
"WHAT?!"
Weeby immediately snapped at Resti, cutting her off again. She wasn't afraid of Resti at all, all her anger was overflowing, but the next second she spoke again as Resti was about to throw a punch at her.
"You want to slap me? Go ahead, I'm not scared," Weeby said seriously, as she watched Resti slowly lower her arm that was hanging in the air and about to slap her.
"That's it, now it's better for you to leave before my anger gets bigger. In fact, you don't get along with Marcell. Why are you so angry? I'm really disgusted to see it."
Resti presented a shuddering expression, then she shuddered amusedly while looking at Weeby doubtfully.
"One more time you say that, I'll duct tape your mouth too!" Weeby threatened, her spirit of obstinacy and anger already gathered and united in her body.
"You don't want to give in anymore, kid, I'm tired of you, you don't accept reality. Even if Marcell is told to choose me or you. Yes, Marcell would definitely choose me, how could Marcell choose a bad girl like you."
For a moment, Weeby let Resti speak first, she kept her emotions as tight as possible so they wouldn't come out, and she wanted to hear what Resti had to say next.
"I'm beautiful, rich, white, smooth, famous, and have body goals, how could Marcell refuse all that? The boys here also like me. So what are your strengths? There are none!"
Resti then laughed out loud. She was so excited that it was fun for her to put others down like that.
"BUT YOU'RE NOT A VIRGIN ANYMORE, YOU'RE ALREADY PREGNANT!" Weeby snapped sharply, making Resti instantly turn pale on the spot, her body tense.
The earth seemed to stop spinning, and the sky also seemed to collapse as Weeby's words interrupted and entered Resti's senses.
The girl was choked up and so shocked when she received that fact—that her secret had been revealed by Weeby.
Resti was frozen in place, staring angrily at Weeby, with bad thoughts already invading and lodging in her brain. Resti was suddenly unsteady, wondering how Weeby knew about it.
In her place, Weeby girded her loins, then her small feet slowly began to advance, approaching Resti, who was only holding her palms tightly.
Weeby laughed so sarcastically that she was happy to be able to beat Resti like this. As if she had no mouth, the girl in front of her did not dare to raise her voice, her lips were already trembling.
"Why are you silent? Surprised that I already know everything? I'm getting sick of your behavior."
"How do you know?" Resti's tone was gruff, and it was obvious that a great deal of anger had enveloped her body.
"You don't need to know that, and I don't have the right to tell you, you really have no shame, Resti!"
Resti was getting more and more furious, but she couldn't answer Weeby's words, what she said was not wrong at all.
Looking at Resti straight on, Weeby said, "I want you to break up with Marcell, don't you feel sorry for him?"
"You're asking me to break up with my boyfriend?" There was an insipid laugh that graced Resti's lips, followed by a short chuckle and a roll of her eyes. Two seconds later, Resti said, "I can't just let him go."
Weeby didn't expect it to end like this, but he couldn't believe what Resti was saying, and his heart felt squeezed. If Resti thought that Weeby liked Marcell, it was one of the facts that was wrong, Weeby was only concerned about the boy.
"You shouldn't do that, if Marcell finds out you're pregnant, how will he react?"
"I don't know, as long as Marcell doesn't know about my pregnancy, everything will be fine," Resti said while playing with her fingernails. She didn't seem to care about the conversation.
"I'll tell Marcell, I'll tell everyone that you're pregnant!" Weeby threatened, her intonation rising an octave, her words sounding very sarcastic.
As the seconds passed, Resti was now not afraid at all, she was even acting normally, as if the problem was just trivial and would disappear in an instant.
A sardonic smile then appeared on both ends of Resti's lips, "Just try it, I also don't believe that Marcell will believe you, unless you have strong evidence to convince my boyfriend."
"I can't get enough of you, you look pretty, but your heart is rotten like a rat carcass."
"It's good that you realize I'm beautiful, don't you?" Resti smiled mockingly.
Weeby's knuckles turned white as a result of her overly strong fist, her jaw hardened; and her teeth chattered in time with her ragged breathing.
"Suppose if Marcell knew you were pregnant. What would you do? Tell him to take responsibility, huh?!" Weeby's temper was already overflowing, the lava at the top of her head ready to burst out.
"That was the plan anyway, how did he know I was pregnant because of another boy? I wouldn't regret it if Marcell became my husband, he's handsome, the most wanted in this school, who would refuse?"
A feeling of excitement entered Resti's body, her heart warmed, and even if everyone knew about her pregnancy, Resti would also involve Marcell as her boyfriend.
"Are you sure Marcell wants to take responsibility? What if he actually leaves you when he finds out you're pregnant? Don't you think about that?"
Weeby was still trying to ask Resti questions, and she was also curious what her response would be.
"There's no doubt about it, Marcell will take responsibility, he's never been in a relationship before, he's an amateur, I'm sure he'll comply with my request." For the umpteenth time, Resti smiled meaningfully, while Weeby was already growling in frustration.
This was the first time Weeby had met a human as cunning as Resti. Her gaze continued to clash with the girl, Resti puffed her chest forward, she felt she had won everything from Weeby.
"You sneaky bastard," Weeby hissed, her face drooping to the side, trying to keep her anger from erupting.
"Not sneaky, but clever. Just so you know, I also love Marcell, not just to lure him into my trap. At first, I wasn't interested in him, but I found him caring, sweet, and Marcell is so handsome, Gama is also inferior to him," Resti explained at length, as if she were the most prosperous person on earth.
"I hope bad luck befalls you. Remember, cunning deeds will be rewarded with the same thing. If you play a stupid game, you'll get an even more stupid reward. I'll try to tell Marcell about this," Weeby said in the end.
"Try it, I don't think it will work. Marcell won't believe you, it's better to save your energy. That's my advice. Besides, you and Marcell are mortal enemies, it's impossible for Marcell to trust you. If you have evidence as strong as steel, maybe Marcell will believe you. But unfortunately, you don't have any evidence. How crazy is that?"
At the end of her sentence, Resti tried to put on a pitiable expression, saying that her facial expression was suitable for Weeby.
It didn't matter if Resti continued to make fun of her like that. Two seconds later, Weeby's lopsided smile immediately formed.
Resti didn't know that Weeby had evidence that was strong enough to be like steel, which is exactly what Resti had said.
Now that Resti was allowed to laugh as much as she wanted and Weeby had no right to forbid it, her eyes continued to linger on the girl in front of her, who still wouldn't stop giggling.
"Laughing yet?" asked Weeby sarcastically, raising one eyebrow, and folding her arms in front of her chest.
Resti's expression changed completely, her eyebrows knitted together, and she was surprised by Weeby's attitude. However, as much as possible, Resti put on a normal face, as if everything were fine. Even though Weeby already knew, from the look on her face, that Resti was already thinking about her behavior.
"Yes, I'm satisfied, really. Do you want to beat me? Dream first so you can achieve it, who can beat me here? There's no one, right?"
Whatever Resti wanted to say, Weeby didn't care, it didn't matter to her.
Competing in cunning? Who would want to? Resti was the only girl in this school who dared to do such a thing. Basically, that girl had a lot of bad behavior, already wrong, she even wanted to find prey for her target. And Weeby couldn't accept that Marcell was the easy target for a girl like Resti.
"Whatever you want, the important thing is that I have strong evidence against you." After those words, Weeby smiled happily, a smile that seemed to have something to do with Resti.
"What is it?" Honestly, Resti was both curious and intrigued. Weeby had proof? There was no denying it, Resti's feelings were a little confused and anxious if Weeby was telling the truth, especially if the evidence was strong.
However, Resti insisted on acting as if she didn't really care, even though her curiosity was eating away at her body.
There was a pause between the two, silent for a while, but at the tenth second, Weeby's voice interrupted Resti's reverie. The girl looked up with a confused look on her face.
"I'm going to show you my proof now," Weeby said sarcastically, then took something from her skirt pocket.
This time, Resti's expression couldn't be controlled anymore, she couldn't hide her surprise when Weeby raised the thing in her hand high into the air.
For a moment, Resti was choked up, her heart felt like it was being squeezed all at once, her heart was being pinched, her emotions were starting to run amok, and for the last time, Resti swallowed her saliva with difficulty.
Blinking a few times, Resti was not wrong to see what Weeby was showing her. Her mouth was at a loss for words. The evidence Weeby showed her was indeed very strong.
However, where did Weeby get it from?
A test pack was now in Weeby's hand.
