Jenn moved in the chair she's strapped again. She knew they were coming. She knew it was going to be bloody. She didn't tell anyone Alex has been coming to her every night naked and pale. He has been saying strange words and making her feel guilty. It's bad for her and she knew that too. She moved in the chair crying and trying to say something but the garb in her mouth wouldn't let the words flow.
The breeze started blowing violently in the room Maddie docked behind a shield. His men rushed in to guard him. The breeze gets stronger. It pulled the wall apart and something appeared then disappeared. Maddie saw it. He ran for cover hiding behind his men. Jenn continued crying and still wanting to say something. She pushed hard to go free but the ropes holding him down are stronger. The breeze went away and they heard gunshots.
"Where is that coming from?" Maddie shouted. His men ran out holding their guns in position while F12 stayed to guard.
"They are coming at angle 45. I don't know how many men. Sir, come over here."
Maddie docked behind him and shouted at another of his men.
"Get the car. Be fast with it."
"Come in through the back. The other will hold out the fire."
"What split that wall just now?" Maddie asked but agitated.
"I don't know. I saw nothing but the wall falling from the impact, sir."
"I saw a man. Naked and looks like Alex. Pale."
"Sir, we should get to the car now. I saw nothing. F34, bring her with us."
The drive out was easy but they found all the men outside dead but no sign of what killed them.
"Get to the helipad faster. Move this damn car."
As they drove past the forest they noticed a car following them, Alpha had sensed Jenn from the car when it drove past them on the highway. He quickly turned back to follow it.
"We have a trail. That car is our target."
"I can sense it too. It's stronger." Damien said. Alpha drove faster like he was running in a race. Maddie's driver noticed and he had to go faster too. They continued like that for minutes until Maddie shouted.
"Shot them."
"What sir?" Said F12.
"Shot them dead. We own the road and right now I don't care who dies."
"Alright, Sir."
F12 activated his gun and aimed straight at them. They know he's a sniper because of the way he held the gun and how he positioned himself.
"That gun is a sniper. Go down, Catherine."
"Down. Down, " Alpha said.
"You need to drive faster and swerve each time."
"I got that cover."
Jenn continued whimpering and still she wanted to say something. She was locked away in the boat tied to a metal block. She shook her head and the garb in her mouth managed to pull away. She shouted and gasped for breath.
"I killed them. You all are gonna die." Her voice reached higher and the car bumped from the impact. Like particles from her voice are overcoming the quantum state of other particles around. She shouted again and this time the car tumbled over and rolled into other cars coming behind it.
It's didn't catch fire but when Alpha came out of the car holding Catherine, F12 aimed at him and shot him in the chest. He fell and growled then turned into his wolf form. He moved swiftly over and slit F12's throat. Damien covered Catherine. Her phone rang.
A helicopter flew by and started shooting at them. The bullets falling off like they from rain the man shouted into his phone.
"Pull down and get the commander. Faster. He phoned in."
The shooting continued. Damien ran into the bush with Catherine. Alpha followed growling.
The shooting continued till the helicopter fly away with Maddie bleeding.

Alpha and a few other werewolves like Damien have a way of healing from gunshots. Damien pulled out the bullets and rested his back on a tree that is as hard as life.
"We don't have to go out there now," Catherine said. "I don't want any of you dead."
She touched Alpha's head, his hair softer like he's dying.
"I'm not dying, sweetie. Just a little scratch." He managed to smile. Damien grabbed his left hand and said, "mate we've come a long way together." And he started shaking his head.
Twilight met them there. The sound of cosmic rays became stronger. Birds and crickets started singing and Catherine sat there thinking. She thought Jenn too had finally left her. She has no one again. She covered Alpha with her sweeter and Damien sat passing the road they came from. He's asleep too or perhaps just not saying anything. She glanced over to see if he was awake.
"I'm not sleeping. Can't do that here. We need protection."
"I should be protecting you guys. You fought that off."
"Not, Catherine," he smiled. " But something strange happened on that road. Don't know if you saw it."
"Not really."
"I saw Alex come in between Maddie's car and Sedan behind it."
"What?"
"Yeah. I saw him. Like a flash then the car tumbled. How could that happen…"
"I don't know what to say."
"Never mind. Alex was a good man. He'd helped me once when I was a kid. Aiden just moved in closer to ours then. I never knew I'll be involved in his story like this." He smiled mildly and continued.
"When I saw him he smiled and melted as the two cars packed up. That smile was exactly how he smiled at me after he helped me. I don't know but what's happening?"
Catherine sneezed and was awestruck. Sarah's call came in again. She couldn't pick the first one.
"Hello," she said. Damien walked away towards the road.
"I'll be right back just a little scroll."
"Alright," she said but still on the phone with Sarah.
"What have you been up to. Called, you didn't pick up. Hope you're fine?"
"Yeah, Sarah. We are fine. Just a bit hard here…"
"She's fine right?"
"I don't know. I'll have to call you back."
She dropped the phone and pulled Alpha. Damien is running back towards them, some wharf rats running after him and a sound coming from the car nearly blocked her ears. The rats disappeared before they got to them. Damien wrapped his hands around Alpha and they ran deeper into the hills.
They found a lonely house. The house was packed with old newspapers when they entered. The window sills were dank and smelt of roasted tuna. Perhaps it was owned by a fisherman or someone who loved fish. They could hear the motion of the sea close by. That is the port where people travel with goods to Bajörk.
"Come here, Cathy," Alpha said slowly. "I need you to help me. My headaches but I'm healing faster. Look at the wound."
He showed her his chest and truly the wound has gotten narrower. Damien sat close to the window looking outside for signs. What he saw before got him more curious and like he has never been curious he sat there looking.
"So our mission here is done?" Alpha said.
"I think she was not in the car…"
"No!" Damien said.
"I think she was. Our senses got the wave of her germ cloud. They are still around."
Damien stood up and moved closer to them. He sat on the bench closer to Alpha.
"When I went back to the road, the boat had been opened. It wasn't open when we ran off. And I saw a shadow before the rats started running."
"Catherine, call Sam he'll understand this…"
"Sam?"
"Yeah, him. He has a knack for this type of misery. He told me so much already and I think he might be able to help here. And what you saw, Damien. I saw him too."
"So, you weren't asleep?" She, said.
"I can't sleep in this situation. I was only enjoying your embrace." Damien laughed and Alpha continued.
"Are you jealous, man?" He laughed too.
"Yes," Damien said and pointed at something coming towards the window.

Before they could avert it the wave knocked them out. Damien woke up first. He looked around in the mist and everything seemed spontaneous. Like he was drunk.
"Aiden. Aiden…." He got no answer then he stumbled on something when he looked down at it it was Catherine and blood flowed down her body. She has bumped her head on the wall and a gun wound appears on her left hand. Damien shouted and started crying. He shocks Catherine hoping she will come back to life. She didn't. He shouted again and Alpha appeared in his wolf form, blood running down his jaws. He looked rough and stared at Damien without another reaction but cold.
"What did you do to her?" Damien shouted and continued shaking Catherine still hoping she'll come back.
"What did you do to her?" He shouted again. Damien dropped her and rushed towards Alpha still shouting and wanting to know what he did to her
