Storm was shocked by the sudden news. He couldn't believe that Blossom had made herself pregnant with Leo's child. How could she let herself conceive Leo's child? What about him?
Thinking that Blossom would finally be to Leo was the worst thought ever that Storm believes right now. He didn't like what he found out; he didn't like it.
“Oh! You didn't know? Because you didn't even stay in the hospital! Storm, if I told you that I want you to stay in the hospital, all you need to do is stay. I want Blossom to think that you are her savior. Did you get that?” Erin clasped her hands and glared at Storm, who couldn't even do his job correctly. Erin didn't want to regret letting Storm know about her plans since she knew that she was a great help to her.
“If you stayed in the hospital, Leo would think you have an intimate relationship with her. Did you use your brain or what?”
“Storm, I will still give you a chance. I want you to prove that we have the same goal here.” Erin added and laughed when she checked the things that she smashed. Erin innocently smirked when another plan came to her mind. She noticed that Blossom was too brave and strong, so she made sure she would do anything to remove her confidence. She remembered that a pregnant woman was too emotional, so she would use whatever it caused.
“Storm, this is what I want you to do..” Erin started and grinned because she would finally checkmate Blossom. She smelled her upcoming victory, so she needed to wait for it and grab it once everything was done.
Blossom was staring at the wall when Jane came inside the room. She saw that Jane had a white rose in her hands while she was carrying a paper bag that had a print of the restaurant that she knew. Of course, she knew because she liked their spicy food when she and Leo went to that restaurant. She gulped when Jane put the paper bag on the table, and she couldn't remove her eyes from the paper bag, for she thought it might have disappeared in front of her eyes.
“Ms. Blossom, are you alright? Your husband called me, and he told me to bring you some food. He said you liked spicy food, right?” Jane smiled, and Blossom slowly opened her eyes when she found Jane more beautiful. What was happening in her eyes? She never thought that Jane was more stunning whenever she looked at her. She felt Jane was sparkling or even shining, especially when she put the paper bag on the table.
Jane pursed her lips, and she didn't understand why Blossom gave her a creepy look. She couldn't stop herself from overthinking that maybe Blossom knew about her secrets. Does Leo tell her everything?
“Ms. Blossom, are you alright? Is there something wrong that you wanted me to check?” Jane was hesitant when Blossom giggled like a child. She widened her eyes when Blossom hugged her.
“Jane, you are beautiful. You look like a model whenever I am looking at you. Why don't you apply as a model?” Jane was astounded by what Blossom had told her. A model? There were a lot of people who told her about it, but her family didn't like it when someone entered modeling or the entertainment industry.
Being a model was taboo in their family culture, and that's why she was amazed that Leo let Blossom be a model. Jane knew that Leo was a possessive type, so he allowed her to conceive their child. She didn't understand how Leo got linked to Erim, Storm's cousin. She found it more unbelievable because cheating wasn't tolerated in their family!
“I don't think that I could fit as the model, Ms. Blossom. I didn't even know how to act well in front of the camera.” Jane reasoned but she knew how to face a camera, but she didn't like that someone was taking her some photos.
“Are you sure that you didn't like it? I will help you to become a famous model here.” Blossom was trying her luck because it seemed that Jane would be the highest-paid model once she entered modeling.
“I don't want to become a model because I hate cameras. Don't tell me that you don't like me anymore to become your secretary. Did I do something wrong that would change your mind? Ms. Blossom, I think being your secretary was my call.”
Blossom was taken aback because she never thought Jane might think she didn't like her as her secretary anymore. Seriously, she felt that she was lucky to have Jane on her side because she was too new in business, but since Jane was too credentialed, Jane always helped her with what she would do next.
She liked it when Jane acted like she was superior to her because she could notice how smart she was. If Jane was related to Leo, she might think that Jane was the second Leo. Sometimes, she always saw Leo whenever she watched Jane have a meeting with someone.
Blossom recalled before she chose Jane as her secretary. She was with Leo when Leo asked her about the secretary position. He helped her choose the best secretary, and seeing Jane's credentials made Leo think that she was more capable of being her secretary. Leo even told her that she didn't need to worry about her company if Jane was the one who was holding it.
“No! It's not like that. Okay, I want you as my secretary, Jane. I'm sorry if I acted that way because I think you will be more successful once you become a model.” Blossom explained, and she was surprised when Jane laughed at her when she saw how uncomfortable she was.
“Ms. Blossom, I don't think that modeling is my call because if someone pushed me, I might have fought those bashers than been silent the whole time. If I entered modeling, I might be a well-known bitch because of my attitude.” Jane joked, but deep inside her, she was telling the truth.
“I am a living bitch sometimes. I don't want when someone degrades me, so being a model wasn't easy for me. I would rather read a thousand papers on my desk. I liked it because I am always trying to solve everything.” Jane added. She opened the paper bag, and she chuckled when she saw how Blossom wanted to check the paper bag.
“You liked this food, right? Wait, I will prepare everything for you. The doctor told you to have a rest day, so you don't need to stress yourself about your company because I am here for you.” Jane mumbled, which made Blossom soften her heart. She almost jumped when Jane put the meal in front of her. She was pleased that Leo was trying to make her better.
“Mr. Storm went there, but there was something wrong with him. Ms. Blossom, please don't trust someone like him; he might be a traitor on your side.” Jane couldn't stop telling Blossom everything that happened in the hospital when she was in the operating room. She wanted her to be more aware of her surroundings.
Blossom's forehead creased when she heard what Jane had told her. “Jane, do you have resentment towards Storm? I don't think that you are saying this to me because—”
“I didn't resent him, but I don't like him for you. I do think that he was a wolf who was trying to act like a sheep. It would help if you were more alert, Ms. Blossom. I am telling you this because I want you to care for yourself.” Jane corrected Blossom, which made Blossom slowly nod and act like she did understand her point, but the truth was she didn't understand why Jane was telling her about it because she didn't have any intimacy toward Storm.
“Okay, I understand. I will be more alert when he is around. Thank you for reminding me about this.” Blossom replied and started eating the food Jane had prepared for her. She was almost drooling because the meal's aroma lingered in her nose. She felt that she was finally flying to the set of white roses in her surroundings.
“I am more thankful because you listened to me, Ms. Blossom. I don't want to scare you because I had a lot of people I know that were acting like they were all sheep, but the reality was they were all wolves who were clothed like sheep.” Jane added. She ate at the same time as Blossom, but since she doesn't like spicy food, she ordered something she might enjoy.
“Jane, I can't believe Leo had time to visit me. Is he worried I might die in the hospital without seeing him?” Jane stopped herself from reacting, and Blossom noticed it. She didn't see that her cousin was worried, but she saw how Leo acted like a big scumbag toward them.
“He is worried about you. He even scolded me because I forgot to ask the police station about the outcome of their investigation. He was scared that someone might delete the proof. He thought it wasn't an accident, and someone wanted you to die.”
Blossom nodded while she was munching her food. She didn't understand that that person had a lot of madness toward her. But all she blamed was Erin, and she was sure that Erin did that to warn her to stop playing with her. Maybe Erin was mad since she was one of the well-known topics in their county. She was humiliated because of what she had done, but Blossom didn't even feel any slightest regret in her eyes.
She was delighted that she finally had revenge on Erin after she had done everything for her. But she knew that Erin wouldn't stop until she eventually lost her again. And now that she is pregnant, Erin might be planning for her child. She needed to ensure her child would be safe, no matter what happened.
“So what happened to the result of the investigation? I want to know everything.” Blossom finally dared to ask. She was sure that it wasn't a mere accident because someone had ruined her car on purpose. All she needed to know was whoever made her like that.
“I don't think you should know about the investigation because the doctor told us that you should prevent yourself from getting stressed, and the baby is at risk. I'm sorry, Ms. Blossom, but I am trying to protect you no matter what.”
Blossom felt more nervous. Based on what Jane had told her, it wasn't an accident. Jane didn't like her to be more stressed because she might be paranoid once she discovered everything. Shit!
“Are you telling me that someone wanted me to die? Is that it?” Blossom understands that she did provoke Erin, and now Erin finally has the guts to scare her. She was more nervous when Jane didn't react or even correct what she comprehended.
“Your husband told me that I should avoid you having problems. He would be mad at me if I told you anything. It's better that you didn't know about this because the baby is at risk. He was trying to protect you; I want to protect you, too.”
Blossom's mouth hung open in fear when Jane didn't even directly tell her that someone was trying to kill her. Instead, she was too safe in her words because Leo prevented her from saying anything, but Jane still gave her a secret hint that she was right all along.
“I know that you finally understand what I meant, Ms. Blossom; this is why you should do everything to protect your baby,” Jane added; Blossom's mouth trembled when she felt how sincere Jane was. She sighed as she slowly nodded her head. Yeah, she understood what Jane was trying to tell her. She understands everything.
“Please, Ms. Blossom, don't let your husband notice that I told you everything.” Jane pleaded with her. That's why she automatically nodded.
Blossom gasped when she heard a loud knock on the door. When Jane opened it, they saw Leo had a dark expression.
