Leo woke up when he heard his phone ring; he took his phone and answered the call when he saw that it was Jane, his cousin. Leo sighed in relief when Jane called when Blossom was sleeping.
“Hello, is there something wrong inside the office?” Leo asked because he told Jane that Jane should only call him when something happened inside Blossom's company.
“You're all a trend now. Someone caught you two kissing inside the coffee shop. Do I need to do something? Some media kept calling here.” Jane replied. Her tone looked exhausted and sleepy.
”It's midnight, and are you still working? It would help if you went home now. Where is Wade?”
“I'm not in the company anymore. But I don't know how the media found out about my phone number. They're the ones who keep calling me. I was sleeping when they called me, so I thought I should call you.”
“You don't need to panic about the media. Blossom and I were married; you don't need to act because I'm having an affair with anyone.”
“Seriously, I'm not thinking about you. I'm thinking about your wife!”
“I'm her husband. You should sleep now; I will sleep, too.” Leo ended that call and chuckled because he knew that Jane would be furious that he ended the call without even waiting for her response.
Leo went to Blossom's side and took his laptop to check what he would need to do when he went to work. He couldn't sleep properly and seeing Blossom's naked body made him swallow. He opened his social media account to check what Jane had told him.
Leo felt terrible for his cousin because it looked like someone had disturbed her peaceful sleep, so she panicked and called him in the middle of the night.
At first, Leo thought that Blossom didn't like to be announced as his wife because he felt that Blossom didn't like him at all. Leo smirked when a naughty idea came to his mind; he retook his phone and went closer to Blossom. He made sure that Blossom's sleepy face would be captured before he posted it with a simple caption.
His post was too simple, and he ensured the netizens would know that he and Blossom were too delighted for each other.
It was his way to clarify everything. Leo wondered why the media made it a big deal because he was married to Blossom. Leo decided to sleep beside Blossom after he checked his emails.
“Is there something wrong?” Blossom inquired when she saw how Leo frowned while cutting the onions. Leo shook his head and continued what he was going to do.
“Baby, you don't need to cook for me if you don't want to. I want some fried wings coated with cheddar cheese. Oh, I want it to be spicy, too.” Blossom pouted when Leo gave her a confused look. She moved closer to him and hugged him from behind.
“Let me correct my words. It's not me who wants that food. It's our baby!” Blossom pouted again, and she caressed Leo's belly slowly as if trying to tickle him. Leo groaned when he felt a thousand of electricity inside his body.
“Are you trying to lure me while I'm trying to cook food for you? Or maybe, you're trying to distract me because you wanted fried chicken wings with cheddar cheese.” Leo pursed his lips and made Blossom see that he was smirking at her. Did Blossom think that he was too easy to forget something?
Leo wouldn't be called wise if he was too easy to distract. But seeing Blossom doing that for him made him want to kiss her so badly. Blossom was the only one that made his heart flutter and made him feel how to fall in love with someone.
“The baby wants it, not me, baby. You didn't want to give what our baby wanted?” Blossom tried to save her dignity because she intentionally made some moves so Leo could do what she wanted, no— the baby wanted.
She wouldn't admit that because she thought that if the pregnant woman was hungry and she liked something to eat, then the baby was urging the pregnant woman to eat something that the baby wanted.
“Blossom, I think the baby doesn't know about the fried wings with cheddar cheese. The baby didn't know about it.” Leo tried to tease his wife, which made Blossom scowl.
“Oh, are you trying to say I want to eat that food?” Blossom frowned; she was about to move away from Leo when Leo grabbed her waist.
Blossom tried to calm herself when she felt her heart rapidly pounding. It looked like she had run a thousand miles, which made her gasp when she thought that she couldn't breathe properly.
Blossom thought that she was actually married now to Leo, and Leo even admitted that he had a feeling for her, but he still had the same effect when she first time saw him.
“My wife, I'm just teasing you. Please, don't be mad. Based on the article, if the mother was sad, the baby was sad, too.” Leo sweetly whispered, which made Blossom try to suppress her smile even more.
Hearing Leo read some articles about a pregnant woman made Blossom think that Leo would do anything to make her safe. Blossom felt her heart slowly melting again and again. She felt like she was flying into a soft cloud and rolled over on it because of happiness. She never thought that she would be happy because of Leo.
“Are you telling me the truth? The great Leopold Fontaine is reading some articles about a pregnant woman.” Blossom grinned when Leo's eyes widened in humiliation. She smirked when Leo looked away and tried to escape the embarrassment.
Leo cleared his throat before he said, “Is it fine with you that the media will know that you're pregnant? I thought you were the one who would model the clothes that you designed?”
Blossom nodded. “Yeah, my pregnancy isn't too obvious now. That's why I wanted to do everything now before my baby bump was obvious. Well, I checked myself wearing some lingerie, and I thought that my shape was still good.”
Leo faked his cough. “Of course, your shape is still good. I'm the one who always seen you naked, baby.” Leo chuckled when Blossom blushed.
“I want to see you first wearing that clothes. Exclusively me.” Leo added.
Blossom laughed so loudly because they looked like they were flirting with one another no—- they were like a girlfriend and boyfriend stage now. Blossom wanted to know what it looked like if she had a relationship with Leo when she first met him.
“It's unfair to my customers. I want them to see my clothes too. Aside from that, I wanted to tell you that I won't give you a free ticket because you're too rich to afford them.” Blossom arched her brow and winked at Leo.
“Ouch. I could have free tickets because we were married. My wife had a business mind now. It hurts.” Leo acted like he was touching his chest and made Blossom see that he was too sad.
“My ramp tickets were too cheap than your daily profit. Leo, I wanted everything to be perfect.” Blossom honestly uttered, which made Leo nod at her.
“Okay, I want some fried wings with cheddar cheese,” Blossom remembered what she wanted again, making Leo chuckle at her. Leo gave what Blossom wanted as they went to the restaurant.
Days passed, the ramp was after two days, and Jane was more pressured to do everything correctly. She was dialing some of their guests when Blossom went to her company. Jane wrote down on her pad and glimpsed at Blossom, who was turning around to see if something had changed in her company.
“Ms. Blossom, good morning! I was about to go to your house after my working hours.” Jane started the conversation. Well, she was about to visit Blossom because she was too worried that maybe she was stressed about the upcoming ramp.
“You look tense. Are you stressed because of the ramp?” Blossom looked at Jane from head to toe which made Jane massage her temple.
“I'm alright. I know you want everything to be perfect, so I did everything not to give you some problems.” Jane answered. She sat down when she felt that her vision had started to blur.
Blossom was stunned. She felt pleased because Jane was too honest with her, but seeing Jane's paled face made her think that she was sick.
“Are you sure that you are okay? Jane, I'm not pressuring you to do this correctly, but I'm here to assign someone since we can't control our guests. I was working as a model, and I know how intense it was.” Blossom sighed, and she felt pitied Jane.
“You look like you're sick. Are you sure that you're fine? It's fine with me if you want to go home to rest. Did you see yourself in the mirror?” Blossom couldn't stop herself from asking. She was worried that something terrible might happen to Jane.
“I'm fine, Ms. Blossom. I didn't eat this morning because I didn't feel I wanted to eat. Maybe, I'm nauseous because my period is about to come.” Jane felt embarrassed that she was telling Blossom about it. She couldn't believe that she was reasoning about her period.
Blossom was surprised. She closed and opened her eyes. “Are you sure that it's because of your period? Jane, I don't want to ask you think, but are you sexually active this day?”
Jane laughed, but she was nervous. She couldn't understand why she was anxious when Blossom started asking her questions. For her, it's because of her upcoming menstruation because she always likes it when it is about to come.
“I'm ashamed to answer your questions, Ms. Blossom. But I don't have a boyfriend.” Jane replied, which made Blossom's forehead crease when she heard her answer.
Jane didn't have a boyfriend but what about Wade? Blossom bit her lips when she saw how Jane looked away from her.
“I'm not telling you that you're sexually active with your boyfriend. I was asking if you're sexually involved with anyone.” Blossom corrected her questions. She focused her sight on Jane, so she could see how she reacted.
Jane gulped. “Y-Yeah, I'm sexually active. But I can't understand why your asking me that, Ms. Blossom.”
“Are you trying to tell me that I'm exhausted from having sex with someone? I'm embarrassed to say this to you because I thought we were just fuck buddies.” Jane added, which made Blossom nod.
Blossom couldn't believe that Jane accepted that kind of situation. She didn't know how she would react because she remembered that she had done that, too, when she thought that Leo didn't have feelings for her.
“Jane, I don't have any right to judge you. So don't think I will make fun of you because you entered that kind of relationship. Okay, so you are sexually active with Wade, right?”
Jane was stunned. She didn't even say to Blossom that it was Wade all along, and she didn't know if she would deny it.
“You won't need to answer me because I know it is Wade. He's Leo's friend and a playboy. But I know that he changed for you.” Blossom started what she was about to say to Jane. She was hoping that Jane wouldn't overreact.
“He's too responsible. But, I want to tell you that sometimes there are unexpected things will always about to come in our life. And I don't want to make you scared for what I would ask you again.”
“Jane, are you pregnant? You're sexually active, and I didn't know if you're using a contraceptive or protection to prevent you from getting pregnant.” Blossom added, which made Jane cry into tears.
Blossom panicked when Jane didn't stop crying; she was sobbing as if something terrible had happened. Blossom felt sad for Jane; she was guilty of making her miserable.
Jane was about to stand up when her vision started to spin, which made her fall to the floor. Blossom shouted in worry when Jane was unconscious, lying on the floor.
