Blossom blinked several times when she heard what Jane had told her. She wasn't shocked when Jane honestly informed her. Blossom hardly sighed, and she wanted to ask for more information.
“W-What do you mean? You are my husband's cousin. Did Leo—-”
Blossom couldn't finish her words when Jane interrupted her. “Yeah, he knows it. I wasn't with my family for so long because whenever someone found out I was one of the Fontaine, they would mock me for having something they couldn't. They always mocked me that I got it because of my family's power or maybe their connections.”
“I decided to leave alone and run away from their grasp. I wanted to make them see that I could be more successful without my family's help. But, I returned to my family when I needed their help, and Leo acted as head of our family.” Jane added. She blankly looked at Blossom, and she didn't even care if Blossom would see her Fontaine vibes anymore.
“But you are successful without their help. I choose you, not because of Leo. I do think that Leo knows that I would choose you because of your credentials.” Blossom whispered, she felt bad for Jane, but she wanted to know the truth.
Jane was stunned. She didn't even know that Blossom personally chose her. She thought that Leo had something to make her secretary.
“I like your vibe, and I know that you're much smarter than me. I know that you'll be successful someday; those who kept mocking you were secretly envious of you. Because neither of you had some connections, you still had a better chance to shine than them.” Blossom added; she blinked again and stared at Jane's face.
“I don't think so. I maybe had a lot of credentials, but this society would mock someone if they found out that someone was poor, and that's what happened to me. So, I returned to my family, but my cousin, Leo, had other plans for me. He wanted me to work for you because he thought you needed someone you could trust. Well, I worked for you because I discovered you're too kind; it's not because of my cousin.” Jane looked at Blossom and checked if Blossom was mad because of what she had done.
She didn't even know that she would expose herself too near, but she was thankful that she finally got rid of her secrets to Blossom.
Blossom was too kind to her, and even though she didn't know she was Leo's cousin, she still treated her like a gem. She worked for several companies, but the boss didn't even want to be with their employees because they wanted to maintain their boss and employees' relationships.
“Okay, I know that you're telling me the truth now. You don't need to worry that I will tell you this, but I want you to inform your family as soon as possible.” Blossom mumbled, which made Jane feel more surprised.
Jane felt her eyes moisten once again before she said, “Ms. Blossom, you have the right to be mad at me. You will forgive me too easily.”
Blossom laughed so loudly her eyes started to get watery; she sniffed and looked away from Jane. “Of course, I'm not mad because I know Leo did that for me because he's worried about me. Aside from that, I treated you as my sister, and I know I'm important to you, too.”
“Ms. Blossom, you are so kind. This is why I'm afraid that something bad might happen to you.” Jane whispered; she wiped her upcoming tears using her fingers and glimpsed Blossom.
“Starting from now, you shall skip formalities. You shall call me Blossom because aside from that, you're my trusted secretary; you're my friend, too.” Blossom laughed when Jane's tears fell once again. It's her first time seeing that Jane is too emotional. Jane was too strong, and she was too good at hiding her emotions.
“Okay, Ms. Blossom—- I mean, Blossom.” Jane coughed; she chuckled while she was trying to wipe her tears. Blossom helped her do that, which made Jane cry even more.
“I-I didn't even know that having a sister is too emotional a part of my life. I didn't even know how it felt because I'm the only woman in our family.” Jane was trying to complain, which made Blossom laugh once again.
Blossom pursed her lips, “I didn't even know that there is a lady in Leo's family. You didn't even go to my wedding that time.”
Jane felt embarrassed because the truth was her family was trying to reach her, but she was the one who was too stubborn. “I didn't even know that my cousin was getting married then. When I came back here before you started your company, I discovered he's married to you, so I decided to read some articles about you.”
“I didn't even know about his so-called affair with the model Erin because I know my cousin; he wasn't a cheater, especially when he assigned me to you instead in our company. Well, Leo wanted me to build my name because I'm so obsessed with being independent. He knew that he didn't like if I would be treated well because of my last name.”
“I don't want them to get intimidated by me or talk behind my back. I want them to see I got this position because I can.” Jane crossed her arms, and she pouted like a child.
“I'm sorry, Blossom. For making you all worried about me, that time I didn't want to eat because I kept vomiting.” Jane added, which made Blossom nod at her while giving her a sweet smile.
Blossom coughed and smirked when she remembered something. Well, the clothes that she designed were too fit for Jane, too. She was about to tell her about her plans but hesitated.
“Your belly isn't too evident like mine. The ramp is too near, and I wanted you to be one of my models. You will be added to the final models.” Blossom held her hand so Jane knew she was serious about it. She didn't want Jane to say ‘No’ to her because she thought her ramp would be much more successful because of Jane's beauty.
“But I don't even have any talent in modeling. I'm sure I will ruin your ramp if you choose me as one of your models.” Jane exclaimed; after she spilled those words, they heard a loud knock on the door.
Blossom smiled and tapped Jane's shoulders because they were all sure that it was Leo. Of course, Leo would know everything because he had a lot of money to investigate everything. But Jane was hoping that Leo wouldn't find out about her unwanted pregnancy because she was sure that Leo would be mad at Wade.
“Who is that?” Blossom tried to act like she didn't know who was knocking. When she opened the door, she saw Leo. Unfortunately, Leo was with Wade.
“Oh, you are Jane's boyfriend, right?” Blossom intentionally louds her voice to make Jane know that Wade is with Leo. She saw Jane trying to calm herself before Blossom opened the door widely.
“Baby, are you too worried about me? I told you that I was fine, but Jane needed someone. She's the one who always takes care of me, so I want to take care of her too.”
Instead of talking to Blossom, Leo first checked his cousin, Jane, who was still pale. He noticed that her eyes were bloodshot, which made him scowl. He didn't understand why Jane cried.
Leo faked his cough. “I went here because I want to eat with you. So I am bringing Wade here so he can check with your secretary. I do think that you know that there is something between them.”
Blossom gazed at Wade. She giggled like a teenager who had seen her crush. “Jane has a taste when it comes to choosing a man. He's handsome, and I know that he had a lot of exes, or maybe, he had a lot of women cry because of him.” Blossom teased; she even winked at Wade, which made Jane laugh while Leo gave Wade a murderous glare.
Leo touched Wade's shoulder, and he gripped it using his strong hand. Wade started to wince but forced a smile on his lips to prevent Blossom from knowing that Leo liked to murder him because of her winking.
“Ms. Blossom, Leo is much more handsome than me.” Wade faked his laugh and tried to elbow Leo, but Leo stopped him from holding his shoulder too tight.
“Shit! It hurts.” Wade winced, he tried to lower his tone, but Blossom heard it, which made Blossom act like she was too worried about him. Blossom touched Wade's shoulder, which made Leo's face redden in too much jealousy.
Leo grabbed Blossom's waist and pulled her away from Wade, which made Wade finally breathe in relief. Wade quickly went to Jane's side, and he was panting.
“Honey, I found out you fainted because you didn't eat in time. Are you mad? I bought you something delicious.” Wade mumbled, he massaged Jane's shoulder as if he was trying to signal her to talk to him, or maybe, his life was in her hands.
Jane's lips rose when she saw how Wade looked. She thought that Wade was too stunning in her eyes whenever he panicked. She bit her lips to prevent herself from laughing, but she failed when a laugh came out of her mouth.
“I didn't even see Wade's face when I was in the hospital, and now, I realize that he is too manly. I wished that my baby would look like him, Leo.” Blossom tried to joke more which made Leo pull her away from the hospital room. Blossom felt her face burn because she was sure her husband was madly jealous because of Wade.
All Jane and Wade could do was watch Leo pull Blossom out of the room. Wade touched his chest because he felt he almost lost his chance to breathe because of what Blossom had done to him.
Wade gasped when he heard how Jane laughed at him, as if Jane found it more entertaining that he almost died.
“You should be thankful that you're here in this hospital. How could you make fun of your boyfriend? Did you see your cousins look at me?” Wade shrieked, and his jaw started to tense.

“What is Sophia doing now? Did you tell her that her sister will be out of the hospital? She hasn't left her room since Erin went to the hospital. I don't want her dad to think that I'm trying to kill—” Erin's mother stopped when she realized what was happening. She forgot that Sophia had eaten some of the meals she had prepared.
“Madam, you told me I always need to put a peanut in her food, right?” The maid was hesitant to ask, which made Erin's mother shocked. She couldn't even remember that she asked their maid to do something nasty to Sophia.
“Bitch, what are you talking about?” Erin's mother felt scared because Sophia might be dying inside her room, and once her father found out about it, she was sure he would kick her out of his house.
The maid stepped back in fear. “Ms. Erin messaged me using her phone number that you wanted to put every day a peanut in Ms. Sophia's food to make sure that she will die too soon.”
Erin's mother screamed in horror. She held her nape because she was sure that her husband was about to come home. “Where is the message that she sent to you? I want to see it.”
The maid trembled and took her phone from her pocket. She opened it and checked the message she had received using Erin's phone number. When she found it, she gave it to Erin's mother out of fear.
Erin's mother angrily snatched the maid's phone, and her hands started to shake when she saw that the maid was telling her the truth.
“Oh my!” Erin's mother screamed and asked someone's help to open Sophia's room. All of the servants panicked because of her, and when they successfully opened the door, they all saw that Sophia was lying on the floor. She was unconscious, pale, and lifeless.
The servants screamed in horror; they all knew that the two women wanted to kill their young lady.
“Oh my! Call the ambulance!” Erin's mother yelled before she rushed to Sophia's lifeless body.
