My Rejected Mate And Our Secret Triplets Chapter 15

Chapter 15

***LOGAN***

I returned to my room which looked completely messy. I walked to my closet and grabbed a shirt, throwing it on.

I looked at the bed, the bed sheet was tough and shattered pieces of wood from the headboard were all over it.

She had the guts to sleep with another man in my bed.

I walked to the bed and grabbed the bed sheet, pulling it off the bed and screaming as I threw it to the floor.

I kicked the bed repeatedly, grunting each time. I was frustrated and angry that I couldn't act how I wanted and carry out immediate judgment.

But most of all I was mad that she refused to let me know who that man was. It was a slap on my face and a blow to my ego.

I stopped kicking as I saw a shirt on the floor. It had fallen to the floor with the bed sheet. I walked closer and bent to pick it up.

I held the shirt and looked at it to see if I recognized it, but unfortunately, I didn't. I sniffed the cloth to get a scent, but there was no scent.

At all.

It was almost as if whoever it was deliberately went the extra mile to make sure that he didn't leave any scent behind. That would only mean it was someone I know.

I tossed the shirt away, getting even angrier at that fact. I heard a knock on the door and my eyes darted to the door.

Who was it? Anyone around would automatically sense the mood I was in so why would they dare to disturb me?

The person knocked a second time and I walked to the door.

It better be worth it.

I opened the door and was about to say something when I saw it was my mom.

"Mom-" I said and I stepped away from the door. She walked in and looked around the room.

She observed all the mess for half a minute before looking at me again.

"Jakob told me that you had guards drag Alvina to the dungeon," she said, confirming what I suspected that she was here to talk about.

"What happened? What did she do?" She asked.

Before I could say anything, someone else knocked on my door again. I went to open the door and I saw it was one of the guards that watched the dungeon.

I told him to inform me if anyone came to see Alvina.

I didn't want him to say anything so my mom wouldn't hear so I talked first.

"You can go," I told him to leave since I already understood why he was here.

I left the door open as he left and I faced my mom.

"You'll hear all about it at the meeting tomorrow," I said, trying to get her to leave.

"She's your mate and this pack's Luna, don't do the wrong thing," she said before leaving my room. I waited for her to disappear from the hallway before I quickly headed to the dungeon. As I got there, I hid in a corner silently to watch Jakob talk with Alvina.

"Why would you do that?" He asked Alvina, sounding annoyed.

"Are you here to scold me or check up on me?" Alvina answered him rudely.

He sighed, ignoring the tone she talked to him in.

"Who was it?" He asked her. That was the main reason why I asked the guard to notify me because I knew he would visit her.

I wanted to know who that man was so bad

"I'm not telling anyone anything, just get me out of here!" She refused to tell the truth. I clenched my fists in anger so tight, they began to hurt.

"You were the Luna, you had ever-" I walked out of the dungeon, trying not to do anything irrational. She would face the entire pack at the square tomorrow and pay for what she did.

PRESENTLY.

I looked up as the door of Derek's room opened. He stopped moving, standing at the door as he looked at me sitting on his bed and all the mess I made on the floor.

He looked at the letter in my hand I was holding and I saw the confusion in his eyes turn to fear.

"How could you?" I said softly. I had already raged so much while he was gone that now, I couldn't rage anymore and I was feeling so depressingly betrayed.

"I-" he stuttered as he looked for words to say. Lying or trying to deceive me after being caught red-handed always made me angry.

"I can explain," he said.

I stood up, dropping the letter on the bed and standing up.

"Derek, I'd really like to hear that explanation," I said, holding my hands behind my back.

"She made advances at me and sent those letters to me, but I never had anything to do with her," Derek said and I closed my eyes, breathing to suppress the anger that was once again welling up inside me.

"Oh, and all the letters she said you sent to her and all the visits she mentioned??" I asked and watched him struggle to come up with an explanation, stuttering.

"All those times you said you were going to see friends in neighboring packs, you were going to see her??" I asked.

"I didn't -"

"You weren't supposed to answer that!" I yelled, gritting my teeth as I charged at him and slammed his back against the wall.

He groaned as I pinned him to the wall, my eyes glowing in my wolf's bright yellow color.

"I trusted you!" I yelled and pulled him by the collar, so his face was breathing away from mine.

"Did I ever do anything wrong to deserve this?!" I bellowed and pushed him to the floor.

"You are taking everything that's mine, that's what!" He suddenly yelled back at me and I was shocked for a second.

"First, you took the position of Alpha from me and I became a mere beta to you," he stated in anger and sat up, leaning against his bed frame.

"What?"

"Yes! Your father should have never stepped down and handed it over to you! He should have died and given both of us a fair chance to fight for the position!" Derek yelled at me, looking pained.

"But the whole pack ignored it because my father is the younger brother. That's why you're Alpha! Because your father is the oldest one!" He yelled at me and I stared at him in disbelief.

I never had any idea he harbored these kinds of feelings.

"And then all of a sudden, you are the mate of Alvina who I've loved for a long time. The two of us loved each other and you ruined that!" He yelled, pointing at me.

It was just like Alvina said, she was in love with someone else before we mated.

"I had no idea, you should have let me know," I said, but he scoffed.

"Let you know?"

"You claimed her on the spot, and even if you didn't, what did you want me to do?" He asked.

"Tell you not to accept the fated Luna of the pack and be considered a traitor?"

"I-" I tried to say something and didn't know what to say.

"Everything I did, I don't regret it. I loved every bit of it. I enjoyed laying with her in your bed, I enjoyed lying to your face every second and I'm enjoying watching everything fall to pieces for you," he said, and the anger in me that was dissipating found its way back.

I dragged him by the collar and pulled him all the way to the dungeon. He didn't struggle or do anything all the way there and I threw him in a cell, locking him up.

"You're going to rot here. I promise you."
