My Rejected Mate And Our Secret Triplets Chapter 36

Chapter 36

***ALVINA***

I stretched on the bed as I woke up from my sleep. I opened my eyes and sat up on the bed. I looked around and smiled.

"I made it out of the forest Logan," I said to myself with a grin on my face. I climbed down from my bed and walked to the window in the room, pulling the curtains aside.

I looked out at the entire pack and smiled again. I'm gonna make all of them love me.

I let go of the curtains as I heard a low rumble in my stomach. I went back to sleep after talking to the Alpha and his Luna earlier.  I was so hungry and my stomach hurt.

I walked to the dressing mirror in the room and fixed my hair, losing the ponytail and letting my hair fall free and dangle over my shoulder. I wore slippers by the side of my bed and I opened the door of my room, sticking my head out.

I walked out of the room fully and closed the door. I wanted to find someone and let them know that I was hungry.

I didn't know which way to go, but I went to the right side of the hallway.

"You're awake," I heard the voice of the Luna behind me and I stopped walking, turning around to face her.

"Yes, I wanted to find someone. I was awake and hungry," I said and she walked closer to me.

"I was just about to check on you......" She trailed off and looked at me inquisitively.

"Alvina," I said, realizing she wanted to know my name.

"Okay, follow me, Alvina," she said and walked past me. I followed her down the hallway until we stopped in front of a dining room. The Alpha was sitting at the far end of the table and another young lady was sitting adjacent to him.

She must be their daughter.

I faked an awkward smile and sat down as Luna pointed at the chair next to the young lady for me to sit on.

"Alvina, this is Roseline, our daughter and Rosie, this is Alvina," she introduced me to the lady and I smiled at her.

"Hi," she said to me with a smile and I replied, "Hi."

I looked at the door, and I saw a man dressed as a guard walk in with a young boy.

"Oh, Peter," the Luna said and the young boy walked away from the guard with a frown on his face.

"Where did you find him?" The Luna asked.

"He and Dan were playing hide and seek in the dungeon Ma'am," the guard replied.

"Peter?" The Alpha sounded slightly annoyed as he faced his young son.

"Dad," Peter replied, looking down and avoiding his dad's gaze.

"I told you not to go to the dungeon. It's dangerous there," he scolded Peter who looked remorseful.

"I'm sorry Dad," Peter apologized.

"It's okay, you can go," the Luna said, facing the guard who lowered his head slightly before walking away. Peter walked to the dining table and he sat on the chair directly opposite Rosie.

He looked at me with childish curiosity and asked, "Who is she?"

PRESENTLY.

Peter walked up to the podium as he was announced the winner of the tournament.

"Well done," Alpha Rudolph said and pulled Peter in for a hug. I knew that Peter was always scared of disappointing his dad so it was nice to see that he didn't lose the tournament.

"I'm so proud of you," Luna Elvira smiled and cupped his face in her hands.

I chuckled as I saw Peter looked embarrassed and when she finally let go of him, James pulled him in for a hug.

"Nice throw Pete," James said as he broke the hug and he winked.

"Make sure you and Dan are still friends after this is over though," James said and Peter nodded.

"Dan attacked you with his powers first, he should be the one making sure you're still friends," I said and touched the three slash scars on the side of Pete's face.

"See the Physician after this so you can properly treat the scars. You need to maintain that face James is so jealous of," I said with a smile and James rolled his eyes.

"Come here," I said and pulled Peter in for a hug.

"My boys are both good-looking," Elvira said and wrapped her hands around the both of them.

"Yeah, but Peter is like ten times better looking than James," I said, teasing James and rolling my eyes at him. Elvira burst into laughter and let go of them.

There was a small celebration at the arena before everyone went back to their houses. It was dark and the Alpha family got back to the Pack mansion.

"I'm tired now, I need to go to bed," I said to James as we got to my room and he nodded. I waited for him to leave before going to the mailroom. This was the third day after the second letter I sent to Derek.

I knocked on the door of the mail room and Patricia opened the door.

"There was no mail for you today," she replied before I could even say anything. I sighed and asked, "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I checked specifically. None," she answered and I nodded.

"Okay, thank you." I walked away and heard the door of the mail room close behind. I was beginning to get worried.

Did something bad happen to Derek?? Even when he was badly injured during a fight, he wrote back to me.

I need to find out what happened to him. I walked into my room and closed the door.

This time, I needed to write to my dad. I opened my drawer and took out some fresh paper and my pen.

If something bad has happened to Derek, he would let me know.
